Jein King

I hired Jein for hair and makeup when on Hawaii for my portrait session; she did an AMAZING job on both my mom and me. If you don’t use a professional makeup artist for your professional photo shoot then it’s part of the experience that you’re missing out. It makes you feel more confident before having your photos taken and your images will be that much better, too. Also, I booked Jein for my permanent eyebrow tattoo … I know how intimidating that sounds because I’ve seen how traditional permanent makeup looks on my mom and aunties, so I vowed that I would NEVER do what they’ve done to their beautiful faces. But, when I saw how Jein uses the hair-​stroke method to make eyebrows look so natural not tattooed, I was very intrigued. I already had awful natural eyebrows so I really needed help with them and knew Jein was the answer to that issue. After my first appointment with Jein — which was absolutely painless! — my «new» eyebrows took about 10 days to completely heal; I woke up feeling more confident each day because I looked and felt better about myself! I highly, HIGHLY recommend Jein King if you want to feel pretty and look it every day. She’s so passionate about what she does that you’re always in good hands with her– literally. ;) I mean, I get to wake up with beautifully shaped eyebrows without having to apply any makeup! This is an amazing feeling for someone like me who did not inherit perfect eyebrows. But, now I can face the world with bare face and feel confident. That speaks volume and I have Jein King to thank for that. She’s the best!

I had the pleasure of working with jein for my wedding makeup! She did a fantastic job of my makeup and hair. I paid for a trial and it was well worth the extra money to see what I would look like on my wedding day!
She is fun and so delightful to be around. Made me feel comfortable like we knew each other forever, which helps when you are getting ready for the biggest day of your life!
When I had my bridezilla moment due to a flower issue she kept working and was not a bit distracted by my rant and didn’t say a word! :)
Overall a pleasure to work with! I would have her do my makeup for any special occasion! Not just my wedding! :)

Jein is AMAZING! She does makeup beautifully and really takes her time to do it perfectly and to your liking. I got my makeup done by Jein for my birthday and I received compliments all night and it lasted through the night! Jein really took her time to ask what I wanted and preferred and really catered to my wants and the look I desired. I would definitely give Jein 6 starts if I could! If you want to look gorgeous for a special event, definitely see Jein!
