Kyle photographed our entire wedding day — from getting ready well into the dance party. It was a very hot (95 degrees) 10+ hour day for him, and us, and you’d never know it from the photos. Kyle was able to capture the most beautiful photos of my husband and I, our family and wedding party.
Before the wedding, Kyle was super helpful in helping us plan a flow for the wedding day. With his advice, we were able to make some smart choices about timing and flow. Throughout the planning process and wedding day, he was extremely responsive.
Kyle was very easy-​going, friendly, and above all, über professional. His photos speak for themselves, but they caught our eye for his tendency to incorporate the beauty of the natural surroundings and lack of totally unnatural poses (especially with wedding party pics).
We are beyond thrilled with the photos he captured. I’ve had tons of compliments and I rank hiring Kyle as one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. After it’s over (and it’s over so fast!), your photos are all you have left to remember your wedding by!

Kyle did an absolutely fantastic job of documenting my son and new daughter-​in-​laws wedding weekend! His photos are unique and memorable. He truly is an artist and captured the emotions and love felt by the bride and groom as well as all their family and friends. It’s going to be hard to decide on which ones I want to print… they are ALL wonderful!

Kyle was absolutely fantastic! My husband and I found him online and decided to go with him for our engagement photos back in January 2014. We chose a few spots around Portland and Kyle guided us what to do because we are both very awkward in front of the camera. Aside from my wind-​blown hair, the photos turned out great! :)
Fast forward a few months… my husband and I were so pleased with Kyle’s professionalism, knowledge, prices and awesome personality, we asked him to shoot our wedding in Scottsdale, AZ. Words cannot begin to describe the photos that he produced — they are GORGEOUS. Despite the fact that this was a new venue to him, he had the place completely scoped out and knew all of the best spots. He even found a location half-​way up the ‘mountain’ behind our venue and these turned out to be some of our favorite photos.
All in all, Kyle shot roughly 600 photos on our wedding day and had them in our hands within two months. What can I say, he is the best.

Kyle is a seriously talented photographer. The pictures here on Unilocal don’t do his skills justice (photos are too small). If you are even slightly considering hiring him as your photographer, check out his website. Those pictures are what sealed the deal for us. We liked how he maintained a perfect balance of both realistic and artistic style — exactly what we were looking for in a photographer. And we’re happy to say that’s exactly what we got from him!
We hired Kyle for both our engagement session and wedding (plus assistant) and both events produced such wonderful photos — pictures and styles we’ve never had of us! He and his assistant captured so many moments that we missed throughout the day. Not to mention, he took pictures of everything I had requested beforehand (even the little details I forgot about the day of).
My only photography regret is not giving him enough time on our wedding day to take even more pictures of our guests. We were at least 30min late in taking pictures (totally our fault) which is really a huge chunk of prime pre-​ceremony photography time. So give yourself enough buffer folks! When else will you have such a talented photographer taking photographs of you and your loved ones looking their best! Seriously, you’ll want every minute with him.
Bonus, Kyle is super nice, organized and accommodating. When meeting with us, he was always early and way prepared and was willing to try out anything we asked (even if it was a bad idea, haha). Do yourself a favor — contact him, get your questions out of the way, and book him before someone else does.

My husband and I hired Kyle to photograph our wedding in June 2014 and we are so glad we did. We LOVE our photos and looking through them makes us feel like we are reliving all the emotions of the day. Kyle really captured every special moment and made it look beautiful. (And best of all, REAL. No stodgy posed photos. Even the ones where we WERE posing look totally natural.) The pictures are everything I hoped they’d be. On top of that, Kyle was very professional and friendly, and even though he was unobtrusive at the wedding, all the photos prove that he truly was everywhere getting the shots. My wife and I worked with Kyle to capture our special day and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. We first met with Kyle a few months before the big day. He was on-​time, professional and prepared with examples of his work, not to mention very approachable and friendly. After meeting with Kyle and other photographers, we chose to work with Kyle because his work is great, his rates fair, and we were comfortable with him on a personal level.
Leading up to the wedding day, he worked with us to understand our schedule and plans, and collaborated with us on ideas for taking photos. Living in Portland, we knew we were taking a gamble, weather-​wise, with a late-​spring wedding, but Kyle came prepared with plenty of ideas for indoor and outdoor wedding-​day shots. On the big day, we lucked out with perfect weather. He showed-​up on time, dressed well and with an assistant in-​tow. He was friendly, knew exactly what he was doing and never got in the way.
We’re very pleased with the results Kyle produced and plan on working with him for other projects.

Amazing, amazing, amazing! Did I say amazing? Kyle did all of our wedding pictures and did an awesome job. We are so impressed with our pictures! He is artistic, thoughtful and has great attention to detail. He truly knows how to capture a story by his pictures, which is priceless. We love clicking through the images and seeing all of our friends/​family dancing, laughing and truly enjoying all the special moments. We will never hire another photographer, it will always be Kyle. I highly recommend him for any event, family photos, couple photos etc.
