We help you handle the ups and downs of buying or selling a home. Our clients say that having us at their side makes the whole process easier and more successful. Moving towards your dream or your goal, it all goes smoother when you have a partner who knows how to listen to you, and can guide you through and around the bumps in the road. We’ll be that partner, advocating for you throughout the adventure, until you get where you are going.

Want a home with character? We have lots of experience with Portland’s classic older homes, from the 1950s all the way back to the 1880s.

We specialize in the close-in, walkable neighborhoods on both sides of the river, from the West hills to Hawthorne & Belmont to the far side of Mt. Tabor, and from North and Northeast Portland to the south end at Sellwood, Eastmoreland, Woodstock and John’s Landing.

Call or email us to chat about what you’re seeking. We might have something just right for you.

Sustainably oriented, community centered.

Meet the Business Owner

Laurie Sonnenfeld S.

Business Owner

As part of Destination Realty, Laurie Sonnenfeld’s Cascadia Group is sustainably oriented, progressive and community centered.

They love throwing community gatherings with live music and introducing people to each other.

Laurie volunteers as a folk and roots music d.j. at Portland’s community radio station, KBOO 90.7 FM. She is devoted to her dog and 3 cats, and has often been involved with animal rescue groups. She fell in love with her first «old Portland» house in Southeast Portland’s Buckman neighborhood and got some first hand experience with rehabbing a fixer-upper. She is a fan of Latin jazz, natural medicine, healthy food, and movies with heart. She believes in deeply appreciating all that the present moment has to offer.

She became a realtor because she saw there were few people in the business who shared her values, and she wanted to fill that need and design a triple bottom line business: people, planet, profit.
