Natalia, the photographer, is so personable not to mention a good photographer. I booked her for an on location Christmas card photo shoot. Natalia and I e-​mail prior to the appointment. I sent her photos of what I had in mind. I wanted a location that screamed Portland! Lucky the location wasn’t far from her studio (location had a train & red brick buildings). I did bring my own props and directed most of the shots but at the end of the day, the quality of the photos were all her. I had my husband, two teenage daughters and two shit zu dogs in the picture. She had no problems working with the dogs. I didn’t buy the digital prints so I can’t post the pictures but believe me they were good (check out her portfolio on her website).
The studio has a very New York artsy feel to it. The building looks run down but inside it’s got a freight elevator that opens & closes manually. Inside (I’m not sure if it’s every floor) on her studio’s floor are other artist businesses. She can do in studio photos but I prefer a realistic backdrop.
Her rates are also posted on the website so there are not surprises. She doesn’t pressure you to buy anything. She’s honest and straight forward.
I look forward to booking her again for our future family photo shoots or special events.
