When working with a realtor (as I have on 10 separate occasions across the US) I look for someone who:
1) understands my needs and wants (and the difference between the two);
2) respects my price range;
3) gives me true opinions and facts about homes with no regard to selling me the property; and
4) has an encyclopedic knowledge of an area including its culture and history
With Marcus, on a 5 point scale, he gets a «5» on each one of these.
Simply put, he was the best realtor I’ve ever worked with and made my out of town move to Portland exceptional.

My fiancé and I just went pending on our first home together, with the help of Marcus and DJ. The market right now is quite competitive and we had a long list of particulars, making us a little difficult to please, I’m sure.
