I called before my appointment to ask how much my eye exam would be and they told me $ 89. I was never told ANYTHING different until I went to check out. Upon check out, after they billed my insurance (which covers $ 60 of the eye exam) I was surprised to find out that I owed $ 79. I asked why and the receptionist notified me that $ 89 is the price if you don’t have insurance, otherwise it is more. So basically, I had to pay $ 79 out of pocket and only saved $ 10.
The REALLY ridiculous part is that I could have paid the out of pocket price of $ 89, then submitted a claim for reimbursement from my insurance for the $ 60, but I was never presented with that as an option from the employee, so I didn’t realize it until they had already billed my insurer.
In addition to the billing issues, I found the eye doctor to be somewhat rude when I opted out of the additional services. I got the feeling that the doctor really hated working with the general public.
My advice to you would be to NOT GO HERE.
