French bistro, delicious fresh made dining.
It’s a small place but they are very welcome in the French chef will come out and explain anything on the menu they have a waiter named Taylor that really made the experience even more pleasant because he was fun knowledgeable help with pairing of the line so did the French chef and just a tasty little menu I’m looking forward to doing the dinner menu we were there for a late lunch after a movie. I don’t know why I didn’t take any pictures but I will next time but I highly recommend this restaurant for top quality food at an extremely reasonable price we had wine appetizer meals and two desserts that we shared with the three of us and it was under $ 60 plus the great fun we had with the employees stop by give it a try their hours are noon to 9

Went here thinking it was still the Lebanese restaurant but it had recently changed owners and become a fusion restaurant. I never had a chance to try the old place but the new chef was getting it done! We came between lunch and dinner so it was quite slow and the service was good and we had access to both menus.
I got a chicken wrap and my girlfriend got a Moroccan burger (not sure if its still on the menu). I actually preferred the burger, it was sweet and savory. I felt both dishes were a little too «juicy»… not sure how to say that’s a bad thing but we had juices running down our hands. The fries could have used a little TLC but i’ll chalk that up to the fact that it was so slow.
If in the area, I would dine here again

We stopped into Mezza for dinner tonight and everything was seriously wonderful! My husband and I both had the sea bass, which was served with a pan relish of onions and capers. .. the fish was perfectly cooked and both the potatoes gratin and the rice pilaf were delicious accompaniments. The beet salad was nicely dressed and composed, too— everything really was in balance.
We’d been to Mezza when it was being helmed by the previous owners. .. I love and grew up with Lebanese food, and I thought the old menu was just alright. The new chef can really cook, and our waiter was attentive and charming. We live in the neighborhood; I hope our neighbors will support this place so I can eat here all the time.

The Croque-​monsieur is delicious! We also enjoyed the mushroom soup and the chicken salad was like no other. Very enjoyable. We will be dining here again. The people are friendly that work here, to me that is more important than the food.

We went to Mezza last night for the first time since it changed ownership. We started with the Calamar Basque, which was absolutely delicious served with nicely dressed greens. Next I ordered the Coq au vin and my partner ordered the Lamb Navarin and both were absolutely scrumptious… good quality ingredients, expertly prepared, with very good sauces. They both came with a starch (the potatoes au gratin were really tasty, and the rice was flavored with sage among other herbs) as well as a tasty vegetable side. We wished we had a nice baguette to soak up the sauce, but the flatbread we did get was tasty, although not as absorbent as a baguette would be. We ended with the pear and almond tart. Also quite tasty! I ordered a hot mulled wine to go with it. The wine list is not extensive, but very reasonable, and our bill (without tip) was about $ 70 — for two complete entrees, and appetizer, a dessert, and 4 drinks. We love this place as a neighborhood spot and encourage our neighbors to support it!

Great experience overall. Everything was fresh and made from scratch. The prices were perfect for the quality and preparation. We will be back soon for dinner.

A hidden gem in Woodstock. We thought we would grab a quick bite at a local place instead of the usual chain restaurants or heading to downtown Portland. So glad we did. The food was top notch, the service was even better. Even the chef came out to check on us. Don’t pass this place up.

Great place! Chef is french and has spent a lot of time in Morocco, so the food is french and french mediterranean. They have a nice selection of wines, and french music — some vocal and some instrumental — played quietly in the background, adding to the ambiance.
I went for a late lunch and had butternut squash soup and quiche lorraine, which came with a side of baby greens with vinaigrette. Everything was amazing p perfectly prepared, attractively presented and delicious — and the prices were very affordable: Soup was $ 5 and the quiche of the day (with greens) $ 7.95, I think.
In addition to the eat-​in restaurant they have a takeout menu.

I’d never been here before — and I was expecting a Lebanese place, but it has new owners who are in the process of turning it into a French bistro. I was here with a friend, for lunch. She’s vegan, so she got the falafel small plate and a salad, and seemed to enjoy them both. I got the quiche of the day, bacon. It was one of the best quiches I’ve had. Very creamy and delicious, and the crust was perfect. The green salad that came with the quiche was also top-​notch. I couldn’t resist trying the pear/​almond tart for dessert. Also fantastic. The decaf I had with the tart was probably French Press. It was tasty though a tad bitter, but overall good. We were the only ones in there, and the waiter was great. A solid eating experience.

We have hit here in the past when things are really good. However we were completely ignored the last time we were in, and when we told them to cancel the order 45 minutes after we put the order in, they magically came up with our order (it had been sitting under the heat lamps all that time while tables around us were being served), which we requested they make it to-​go.
When we got home we found they had completely screwed up the order.
We will no longer be dining there.

I recognize this place is not the same as it once was. It is a little more expensive and the food is not what I would describe as Middle Eastern. (I have spent a lot of time there, btw.) I would describe it as Mediterranean-​inspired. There are several Middle Eastern named dishes, but they are sorta mashups. But the food is still good and hot and the servings seem right.
Also, the server was not really as attentive as he could have been.
To give it only one star is not being fair.

Yummy (not dry) falafel with what seemed to be pita made in house. Super friendly staff too. We will be back to try some of the new chef’s creations! Recent ownership change from what I hear and def worth checking it out!

Was so let down, previous owners new how to cook food, new ownership has augmented portions and flavors to really disappoint, I never try to be too picky but I was sorely saddened by the results. Plz take constructive criticism and look at the way you’re restaurant is formatted

This restaurant is under new ownership and has seriously gone downhill. The waiter was completely incompetent, and the food was not worth the money. We used to order the mezza plate with a side of rice and pita; it was generously portioned, delicious, authentic Mediterranean food. What we just received tonight was a tiny portion of falafel, a small handful of baby carrots and olives covered in a watery tzatziki sauce, a smattering of couscous, a variety of watery sauces and hummus, pita that was tough and doughy, and a side of gooey buttered white rice. I wish we would have taken a picture before eating, because it did not look restaurant quality. Unfortunate that there is no longer a good Mediterranean spot in this neighborhood.
