Never go here!!! Worst experience!!! They have a reputation with the DMV and the Department of Justice (that alone says it all) They will make you feel really comfortable and taken care of, show you nice cars for amazing deals and then they will scam scam scam you! If it looks too good to be true it probably is!
Long painful story short a deal I had with them was voided due to the vehicle not passing an inspection required by my insurance, which they fought me tooth and nail about saying the inspection was not true. Welllll I got it inspected (which took me an entire day to even have someone look at it) and yes I saw the problems, lots of them. They acted like they would fix it, but I couldn’t get this unsafe car from them, the horrible body work was clear to my untrained eye, so I went to get my car back that I had used as a trade in. They told me they had already sold my vehicle but would write me a check for the trade in value. Umm you sold my car before our deal was finalized!!! They wouldn’t show me any proof of sales and the kid who was there refused to call Kyle, his boss, or Andrey, the owner, saying he would get fired if he called them. What?! I walked away, I wanted my car! I investigated with the DMV who told me my car hadn’t gone through their listings, meaning if they did sell it they did so in violation of the DMV. Told moda I filed a complaint and got a lawyer and I wanted my car back and oh magic «we have your car»
Then I come to get it and they try and charge me $ 200 for the detailing they did on the car to sell it! Didn’t give them a dime. These people will try and take you for it all. They even stole my floor mats, really guys, you’re scum.

I purchased a new 2016 car from Moda Cars about 2 months ago. I got a great deal on the car, but several minor things were wrong with it that were not brought to my attention until after I drove it home. (Ex. scratches on the windshield that were hidden under the sale sticker, cracked screen for the odometer, missing bumper plug, etc.) Allan, the manager, was nice but unreliable. He promised to order a part that was missing and two months later, I have still not received the part. I call him about every other week and Allan just gives me excuses and that he is «checking on the status».
Overall, great deal on my car, but not worth the shadiness. I need someone reliable and that I can trust when purchasing a car.

Two weeks ago, I went to Moda Cars looking to buy a car and I found a great deal on a car (11k miles and in great condition). The buying process was very easy and Allan made me feel very comfortable. Five days later I was driving home from work and the engine overheated! I was furious. at 11k miles this should not be happening. So I called Allan and he told me to call someone named Andre. I had no idea who he was and had not met him but apparently he was the owner. He said he would pick up the car but would not give me a rental car. I was two hours away and stranded! I had to find a way home and was told it would be the next Tuesday until it was ready so I had to find a car to borrow for 5 days. At this point I just wanted a new car. I talked to Andre and he told me he could give me the next model up but I had to give him MORE MONEY. Then he went on to tell me that this particular car had been in a fender bender. I’m sorry but I’m not going to take a car that has damage (even though it was repaired) and be willing to give more money. I had told Andre that I wanted a car with no damage and didn’t want any issues he texted back saying, «Cars are cars. It could have happened to the other one.» After this happened I could not get a hold of Andre at all, he would not return my phone calls or text messages and when he responded the next day he just texted me. Things that are important like this should be discussed over the phone rather than texting like we’re teenagers. I then decided just to pick up my original car that had been repaired under warranty and go. I repeatedly told Andre that I wanted a copy of the receipt of what was done to the car and where it was repaired at. When I arrived to the dealership, he wasn’t even there and the man who was there said that they had lost it so it wasn’t available. When I had asked about what made my car over-​heat, Allan told me it was the antifreeze, Andre told me it was a fuse then later told me it was the water pump then the man I picked my car up from told me it was the radiator. I kept getting different answers and was fed up. So I had to call the Chevy dealership and get a report from them. But the dealership said my car was never there to get fixed! All in all, my experience was awful. I will never be back. My car has been repaired and I only took it back because it was still under warranty. I wish I would’ve went somewhere else.

So after writing this review, Andre has finally called me back to try to get me to take this down. After days of asking where my car was fixed he finally told me he didn’t take it to the dealership where it was under warranty. He took it somewhere else! His reason was because when he was towing my car, they broke the front bumper of my car. I WAS NEVER INFORMED OF THIS. At this point I was furious! I don’t even think Andre would have told me that he damaged my car if I had never wrote this review. I repeatedly asked Andre where my car was taken to get fixed and he said Ron Tonkin Chevrolet. I called them and they said my car was never there. When I asked Andre about that he said that he only got the part there and apologized for lying. I am so angry that not only I was lied to about where my car was fixed but was never told my car was damaged. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

Do not do business with this car dealer. The Owner Andrey is a real scumbag and thief. We bought a Subaru Forester from him and he said he was going to send us a trim piece that was broken in the back of the car. After 2 months of hounding him to get the part sent to us he finally did and it was the wrong color. So he told me to send it back and he would replace it with the correct color. He was very adamant about us getting a tracking number so that it wouldn’t get lost in the mail. So we got the tracking number and the delivery was confirmed. Even though it was confirmed delivered he said that they never got it. Since they say they never got it we were out of luck and he wasn’t going to send another one. Worst car buying experience I’ve ever had. Also, the Car had a rotten orange in the door pocket that they didn’t clean out before showing us the car.

Do not buy from mods cars. You may think you are getting a good deal but I will assure you something will be wrong with your car. I purchased a car from them thinking I was getting a great deal, later to find out there was major damage in the undercarriage and they did not mention this when I purchased this car. I will not be getting a car from them again. Now my car which I thought was almost brand new is just a headache to me. Never going here again. If I could give them zero stars I would.
