New cart to the neighborhood. Very delicious and I’m really happy about the proportions. The guy that works there is really informative and I love the food. I’m working my way through all the moles. If you’re in the area and want something tasty and in the sun, I would recommend checking this place out.

This Mole food cart was a pleasant suprise when I stumbled upon it. The food was top quality, fresh and handmade. My wife and I offer three different items to share so we could really sample the menu. None of them disappointed and I’ll be visiting them again soon.

WOW. This place deserves its all 5-star reviews. Seriously high quality food, friendly and helpful purveyor. Not close to where I live or work, but I will be making excuses to get to this part of town for the chance to grab a bite here.

Wow I am so impressed. Todays special beef tongue empanada was amazing. The owner chef is so nice and welcoming. You can taste the 5 different moles he has before ordering. I learned so much in 10 minutes Can’t wait to come back

Some of the best mole around. This truck is now located near Montgomery Park in the NW industrial area. I highly recommend the Mole Verde with pork — very tender and flavorful. Luis also makes a empanada of the day — — the one I tried was squid ink filled with spicy octopus. It was fantastic! Highly recommended.

Just checked him out at his new location by Montgomery Park. I have been frequenting this cart for several months and all I can say is Wow! The Moles are all so good I find it hard to decide. I think the Lamb and Beef are my favorites. The Empanadas are also very good. Check the daily special. I had the squid ink stuffed with roast octopus and it was mind blowing. The regular El Jefe is just as good. The sides of Mexican crema and salsa are great too. Anyways, check him out at the base of the old Montgomery Park office complex. Your taste buds will thank you.

You might not expect this little Mole truck off the side of hwy 30, in a beat down parking lot, to be a destination lunch spot — but don’t let all that fool you! After driving by many times on the way to St Johns bridge I finally stopped and it was WELL worth it! After trying all the moles I picked the mole negro — but they were all great. Great portion for the price and damn tasty. I’ll be back… often!

Just stopped and had lunch at this incredibly amazing food truck called MOLE, PREHISPANICCUISINE, located in the parking lot of Andersen Roofing on Highway 30, just outside of Portland. The owner, Luis, makes the most amazing moles I have ever had!!! 4 different flavors, mole negro, mole verde, mole colaradito, and mole de castilla. All handcrafted and served with fresh corn tortillas, bownrice & quinoa blen, fresh greens topped with pineapple salsa and Portland pickled onions. My partner had two excellent empanades, one of which was a pumpkin and shitake mushrooms. The wrapper was handmade and the filling was luscious! Extremely high quality handcrafted food made from locally sourced ingredients; hormone and antibiotic free meats, organic vegetables, etc, etc. Worth seeking out!

This is the best mole I have every tried! Chief Luis Ochoa very nice. He let us taste all 4 different moles. We got the Negro and Verde moles. The plate comes with 2 handmade tortillas, a salad topped with pineapple salsa and pickled onions, brown rice and Quinta blend, and the protein(mole) is the main star! If you never had mole or you want some try it out.
