Bodywork for Health was established by Olivia Wycoff after returning from studying Thai-​style massage in Thailand. Olivia has focused her continued training over the years on deep tissue therapies and injury recovery techniques.

A graduate of East West College of the Healing Arts here in Portland, Oregon Olivia has been practicing massage for 8 years. She specializes in deep tissue therapies, pain management and injury recovery. Her massage style is a blend of therapeutic techniques including traditional Swedish, trigger point therapy, Tui na (Chinese massage) and stretching inspired by the yogic Thai-​style massage. She is also a practitioner of Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, a massage done with the feet which is wonderful for receiving deep pressure comfortably and highly effective in lengthening muscles and inducing deep relaxation.

I am a real estate Broker and I basically live in my car and on the computer all day. My back and shoulders got all messed up from a stressful work week recently, and Olivia in one visit sorted out the muscle spasms I was having in my mid-​back. I was amazed to say the least! She is a wonderful listener/​communicator, she cares about your experience, and she is quite intuitive when it comes to tuning in to areas that are causing you pain or discomfort. I very highly recommend her!

Olivia was recommended by another massage therapist so I had kind of high expectations going in AND SHE MET AND EXCEEDED ALL OF THEM.
She was friendly, thorough, really listened to everything I said and even offered me tips of ways to work through some pain I’d been having.
Massage room and waiting room are very pretty.
Construction on the street makes her store a little hard to find but keep walking and you’ll get there.
I will go back to her any time I am in Portland. HIGHLY recommended.

Olivia made me feel at ease from the get go. The studio was relaxing and tranquil. The music was soothing and Olivia radiates positive energy. Rather than get a massage that was too rough or not rough enough, mine was exactly what I wanted. WHY? Because she asked me how the pressure was several times on several parts of my body. I would tell her more or less and she would acquiesce.
I have had several Swedish massages from her as well as a few ashiatsu massages. She is a pro at both methods. If you’re looking to try something new (like getting massages by elbows, knees and feet) that gets really deep into your back muscles I would recommend a shiatsu massage from Olivia Wycoff.

Olivia Wycoff gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had! It was my first time trying Ashiatsu massage (with use of the feet) and I extremely enjoyed it. As an avid exercise lover with frequently sore muscles, I really appreciated how easy it was to talk to her when I needed her to push more strongly or gently. Last, but not least, she is relaxing to be with and very friendly. I would definitely recommend Olivia!
