If you like feeling like you’re sitting at the dentist and listening to soft music for half an hour before you get your food this is the place for you. Ain’t nobody got time. Staff was nice– no apology for the delay though. Décor was pretty bad, plastic covers on chairs, food was decent but not worth it. Eh.

A GREAT START TO A SUNDAY FALL MORNING:
We came down from Vancouver, Canada for a fall weekend away to enjoy Portland. We found the Park Place Café on the side of a stunning park and decided to try out the crepes. We arrived early before the café officially opened and we were met by the owners smile and a wave to come on in. Bottom line: The service was incredibly welcoming, friendly and the food backed it up. Try the Bonjour an Mona Lisa Crepes along with coffee that kicks the day off right.

I don’t think I have ever had a crêpe as good as the one I got here. This place is so quaint. Do not miss the back room with comfy furniture and little terrariums everywhere. That day a woman was doing an essential oils class as a community event. The place is exceptionally clean and the owner grew up in the neighborhood. If you go to do disc golf this is the place to eat.

YES! Just YES! This place is amazing! The customer service is exceptional! Gisele & Omar know their customers by first name, which says a lot! All three savory crepes are phenomenal but my favorite is the bonjour, the white sauce it comes with is out of this world. I could eat it by the bowl, lol. The anna bananna is my favorite sweet crêpe. Its perfection on a plate! Anyway, its quite obvious that I recommend this cute, cozy, family oriented café! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful little place tucked away on SE 182nd. Cute, quiet, calming and lovingly arranged dining area in the back. Staff/​owners are friendly and caring. Supposedly have some gluten-​free options, but i just sipped on a juice while my friend thoroughly enjoyed her croissant and coffe.

Omar and his mom Gisele run this little French café with a lot of love. It’s a great experience in a family establishment where the remember your name and your favorite food. The crepes are great and so is the baklava that Gisele makes on site by hand. I also have to say that this is a quiet place, great to have a conversation with a friend or do some work. There’s light background music but it is subtle.

BEST BREAKFAST EVER. We went here for the first time today and both ordered crepes. It was at a great price and they were delicious! The owner, Omar, was super friendly and brought the food out pretty fast. He even brought out free brownies as a gift for us at the end. Make sure that you keep an eye out for the café though since it’s hard to see from the road. This is a must for traveling in Oregon.

Came here on a lunch date with my partner at around 11 on a weekday. The place was busy– it seemed like a lot business meetings were taking place. We ordered one savory and one sweet crêpe, as well as two lattes. Everything was incredibly delicious but took FOREVER to come out as there was only one guy working. We will be back, I’m sure, but when we have more time.

My friend and I were dreading returning because of our previous experience, but since we needed to use the gift certificate before the end of the year, we decided to give it a try. ««««It was a much better experience. The owners were both very kind and accommodating and went out of their way with things we didn’t ask for. We were bummed to have lost our coffee shop before, but I think we have it back now. If things stay like they are, we will be back over and over again and would have no problem recommending this place to others. Great job guys, keep it up.

The crepes are amazing! The space is really nice and relaxing. My fiancé and I really enjoyed our visits there and our son liked it a lot too. It is a family owned place and they obviously take a lot of pride in their quality and service. The prices are quite reasonable too. An excellent value! Give them a try!

LOVE this place! We have stopped in twice since Omar took over the business. Both times we have had exceptional service and the food was amazing! My fiancé and I shared the Bonjour both times and it is so good! Our son had the Anna’s Banana with strawberries and absolutely loved it as well. Omar is very sweet and attentive and so is his mom! They have definitely earned our repeated visits. We are looking forward to trying more!

I have been here twice and both times, I was greeted with a very friendly attitude from the owners. Omar and I talked in great length about Greece (he is 1st generation) and I adored the Baklava his mother made (they make it fresh every morning!). Can’t wait to try their crepes! I have tried the Croque Monsier both times and was equally impressed :)

I don’t eat crepes very often but the Mona Lisa was an array of flavors. Apple, basil, Brie cheese, chreme freiche & molasses dressing… Although I had it with no ham. It was Delisioso! The owner and his mother were very polite. When I showed them an old deal provided by Unilocal they gave it to me anyway… And not to mention the new owner was especially handsome. Thank you !

I love to find local places with real charm while I’m traveling. This place is great. Omar is a local guy and he really cares about good service and great food.
His attention to provide us with great coffee and really great creeps was appreciated. They had only been reopened for three weeks but everything tasted great and was served in a timely way.
We had the Bonjour and the MonaLisa crepes — both were excellent. The apples and ham in the MonaLisa were fantastic combo and the apples were very fresh and crispy.
Glad we found them.
