We live within blocks of this stand, so, it is very handy. However my wife has just returned from a trip to buy some fresh corn and stated that she will never go back to that place. The produce is ok, not organic but ok. This is the second time she has been over priced for something. The corn is .75 $ per or four for two bucks. Our math says that six ears should be 3.00 $ but Parsons insists that it will cost 3.50 $. 4 for two and two at .75. My wife asked if they wanted to sell more corn and the answer was that this was the rule, sorry. This was the second time this kind of pricing issue has happened and the last time for us.

Frequent this stand often but had a really awful experience with the cashier. Thought the prices were high for what I got, so I simply asked her to calculate it again. She was not helpful and had attitude. When, she calculated it again, it was a different price… this is after I paid her. Since she was already annoyed, she told me…“Well, you actually owe xx amount more!”(with total attitude). I’m sorry, you miscalculated in the first place, so I shouldn’t pay you, 15 cents more. Very poor service. Then, she had the audacity to tell me I was rude, and to shop at New Seasons and not to come back. Will not be going back. New Seasons may be higher in price, but the people that work there are ALWAYS helpful.

Parson’s has a ton of fruit and veggies. They also have flowers and now there are 3 carts there with seafood, coffee, pastries etc. Some things I know they carry: potatoes, onions, rhubarb, strawberries(AMAZING), eggs, cherries(also amazing!), homemade jams, awesome biscuits, scallions, lettuce, kale. I have never had fruit that tastes as good as Parson’s. I feel like maybe, I didn’t even know what fruit was until I had the berries! Nothing like getting all the fixings for a great breakfast and walking home to make it! YUM!
