The guy who owns this place is soo friendly! I’ve only been here a couple of times but I felt totally welcomed. There’s a lot of good smelling lotions and stuff as well as things reflecting other parts of the world. They support and donate to animal rights, which is amazing too.

Love this store for the products, and love it even more for its focus on fair trade and local artists. I often come here looking for gifts, but walk out with something for myself, too! Beautiful scarves, handicrafts, small sculptures, etc. Don’t pass this store by when walking down Mississippi!

PDXchange is another Portland correct sort of gift store, but without the edge. Maybe that’s because it’s located in a new building and perhaps the selection and displays are little bit too perfect. And it’s a really cool fair trade store nonetheless. I found some neat stuff that would make perfect gifts.

PDXchange is a super cool store with an interesting mix of unique items from the world over. All items are handcrafted, special and reasonably priced. The items are beautiful and unique and help people in other countries who put a lot of time and craftsmanship into creating these pieces of art. They have beautiful aprons, housewares, bags, quilts, children’s toys, and jewelry(and much, much more) that you can feel great about buying. No sweatshops. All fair trade. This shop is great for that last minute gift for a person that has everything & is hard to please. Just go check out the store– it is a joy to walk into.

This is a really great boutique: perfect place to pick up a gift for someone. The products are all fair-trade, so you’ll feel good about your purchase. I picked up a cool purse as a b-day present for my wifey. It’s made out of recycled inner-tubes, yet looks like a super-pricey designer bag. She loves it! I talked to Tom, one of the owners, for a while, and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. PDXchange just opened a few weeks ago, and I think they will have a lot of success at this location. This is just such a «Portland» kind of store, right down to the cool graffiti artwork on the walls. They also sell some really awesome furniture made from reclaimed lumber. As you can tell, I’m a fan.
