Just got a pedicure with my friend. I’ve been here before 2 times and had a great professional experience so I brought my friend… I won’t be coming back, we got here at 915 right after they opened and they sat us in what appeared to be 2 dirty chairs, the towels still had previous people’s skin all over both of them. I said something so they just moved the towels and who knows if they cleaned the bowls.
I noticed they were putting the wrong color on my friends toes so I said something. Both my lady and hers rolled their eyes and continued to keep whispering to each other. It definitely was the wrong color so we told them again and they argued that it wasn’t. Super awkward the rest of the pedicure …

Worst pedicure of my life!
I will never go back to this place! They sat us at dirty chairs. The woman doing my pedicure may have been the most unfriendly woman I have ever encountered. She cut my toe nails so short they hurt! She put the wrong color on my toes and then argued with me about it! She kept bumping my toes with the uv light and screwing up the polish and just slapping another coat over it and painting my skin. It was the dirtiest, most painful and unpleasant pedicure I have ever experienced! Also was never offered out complementary front that is supposed to come with the $ 40 pedicure. My advice is take your business elsewhere… This place is not worth the money

The employees barely speak English so they have issues understanding what you want. I had my acrylic nails removed and my finger (skin) was clipped with nail trimmers and it bled pretty good. I didn’t even hear they were sorry and still paid $ 46.

Not bad but not great either. I come here when I need a quick in and out, I would tell people to not bother with scheduling an appointment. I typically do book ahead but find myself waiting 30 minutes to a hour sometimes, isn’t that the point of an APPOINTMENT!!! Secondly I feel that they are very overpriced for the quality that they put out, like I said before not bad but nothing great either.

Really really over priced pedicure. For 38 $ after tip, I felt pretty bummed out leaving. The whole experience was mediocre at best. If it was an 18 $ pedicure it would have been fine. Go somewhere else, not worth the price.

Bad service the woman that worked on my nails was rude she messed up my nails a few times and I had bubbles after the nail polished dried.

Not the best pedicure I’ve ever gotten, but one of the most expensive. The facilities are nice and clean, but I didn’t love the pedicure I got. A bonus is that every treatment comes with a mimosa (or coffee or tea, etc.).

I’ve had a lot of mani/pedi’s in my life and I came to Princess Nail Salon to get a gel manicure. I was going to get a pedicure too, but decided to just get the nails done since I’d never been here before. The place was dirty and when I came in and asked how much for a gel mani and basic pedi, the ladies started talking to each other in, I believe it was Vietnamese? So I told the lady in charge that I’d just like a gel manicure please. Then another lady came over to me and in a hushed tone said to me that if I got both a mani and pedi they would give me 20% off. I smiled and said no thanks, a gel mani is good for today. So I sat down and a nice lady came over. I won’t say which lady it was because she was very sweet. But MOTHER OF PEARL she gave me the most PAINFUL gel manicure that I have ever, ever, ever had in my entire life. The file that she used on me was for acrylics and my nails are thin. This file literally ripped my nails down to such a short length that my nails looked like I was a compulsive nail biter (which I’m not)…that is really short. So short! One of the nail tech’s child was there and wouldn’t stop talking to me. I’m a nice person so I indulged the sweet, bored child, but my gosh, I’m not a babysitter and I don’t want to talk to your child during my entire service time. As if the excessive cuticle trimming and horrid nail file weren’t painful enough, the technician then finished my gel manicure with some hand ‘massage’ which consisted of very hard pinching of my hand muscles, pulling my fingers as if to make my knuckles pop and weird wrist circles that were so harsh I could hear my wrist bones cracking. I am not exaggerating. I will never return to this place and I would suggest that you find somewhere else to go. It wasn’t just a sub-​par experience, it was painful.

We came here solely because they advertised gel nails, which my friend has been wanting to try and has had a hard time finding. We arrived right on time for our appointment, but they were very disorganized. No one could figure out who would be doing our nails, and couldn’t explain which were their gel options. They eventually said the gel options were the same as the shellac options, so we chose our colors and sat (I was getting shellac). They offer a free drink, and the pedi chairs are pretty comfortable. However, we ended up being cycled through 3 – 4 women each which was confusing, each only doing part of the process. Both women who cut my toe nails and fingernails cut me and made me bleed repeatedly, which I’ve never had happen before. They got started on my friends fingernails much later, though she’d requested a nail design and more time consuming things so they should’ve started with her first– she ended up done more than 30 minutes after me. During her process, they picked up the nail colors she had chosen and put them away somewhere without getting the colors out, making her choose again. And when she sat for her manicure, she confirmed gel nails. The girl said yes and then proceeded to give her acrylics, even when asked again. We both left with nails that looked pretty good, and the color selection was nice, but customer service left a lot to be desired. The process was hurried with long waits in between– they were busy, which I understand, but that doesn’t excuse the rushed job or leaving excess nail polish on our fingers, hands and feet without even trying to clean it off. At the end, for $ 50-​$ 60 for a shellac mani with regular pedi, there are better places for the same price or cheaper. We also watched a girl come on who was apparently promised a repair for a very messed up nail. She was told they informed her they’d only «try» to fix it for her, and she had to come back in 2 hours to get it fixed, and they refused to do it any sooner. So, I won’t be going back for a repair if needed.

I used to live in SE Portland. I came here all the time and loved this place! Best pedicure in the universe! And I am one picky chick! I moved out of state for a few years and just came back. I currently live in Tigard. I tried a place a couple of times over in the SW and they were ok… But… let me tell you! Decided to come back to Princess Nails today and am on Cloud 9! Love love love this place! Love the owner love the girls and don’t care if I have to drive further this is where I am coming back to! Thanks for the lovely mani pedi girls!!! Fantastic!!!

Ive been going to Princess nails for over 10 years, I LOVE it. Ive gone to other places, but have always felt hurried and a few times they have messed up my nails or put top coat on before the bottom coat could dry. Anyway, the owner always remembers my name, and asks about my daughter. Im really happy with the service I get here. Thank you ladies!!!

I’ve been going to this salon for the past 5+ yrs and have NEVER been disappointed. These ladies go outta their way to please your every lil princess need… I’m recommending them from waxing to polishing my pinky toes.
Go there and relax…

This was seriously a traumatizing experience for me, here’s what happened. My friend and u wanted to go get our nails done. My friend is pregnant so she wanted a pedicure and a manicure, I just wanted a full set with shellac. I called ahead and asked if we could set up an appointment for 5pm for one Mani/​pedi and one full set shellac. They said of course and that they weren’t busy so we wouldn’t have to waut. We went in at 5 (on the dot), and they put her in a massage chair immediately and put her feet in the water. It all went downhill from there, after getting her in the water her and I sat and waited for an hour and a half while they counted money, talked, and tended to other clients. After an hour and a half someone started on her manicure. The woman who did the manicure was very friendly and said that she would be doing her many/​pedi, but after finishing one of her feet the lady left the store! And a new woman started (after 15 minutes of waiting). After they started on her second foot, a woman FINALLY started on my full set manicure (after waiting an hour and 45 minutes). the woman barely spoke English, and after telling her I wanted square nude shellac nails, she made them rounded and they were blue! Then when they finally finished (after 3 hours total) they tried to overcharge us by $ 15! I will never go back to this place. I am so angry with their service. I wish I could give them less than 1 star

I love Princess nails. All of the technicians are friendly and they do really excellent work for a reasonably price. Ask for Ann if you’re getting a pedicure. She gives the best/​longest massage.

Princess Nail Salon is wonderful. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Absolutely the best manicure and pedicure I have ever had! I have been a regular customer for over a year and so glad I found the Salon!

I love Princess and have been a repeat client for over a year now. I drive out from Sandy, nearly 1 hour, for my mani/​pedi because they just do the very best shellac ever! Mine consistently last 3 – 4 weeks before I need to return to have it redone. Other places Ive tried last 1 maybe 2 weeks. I carefully guard the name of «my girl» and share it with close friends, but I can tell you that all the gals there are friendly and do a wonderful job.
My last couple visits I have requested some rather specific nail art and was not disappointed! I’m just sorry I didn’t get a picture to post to show off my nails when they looked fantastic.
I have also had a variety of waxings (eyebrow, lip, legs, etc) and their prices are not only competitive but they do a fantastic job.
Worth the drive every time, I wouldn’t trust my nails anywhere else.
Parking is a little rough, but I have a tiny car. That’s my only complaint.

Wow. No. Just no. Ive gone here off and on at least 8xs over the past 5 years. And each time I leave thinking «oh, right, THATS why I stopped coming here» It’s close to my work, conveniently next door to a Starbucks, and always seems to be busy. But the owner is always barking at the other techs and even rude and snarky to the customers. It’s so uncomfortably awkward! I guess I’m just so suprised how many people are willing to put up with bad service just to get a «cheap pedicure»
There are sooooo many places in Portland.
I’m off to try another.

The ladies here do an excellent job! Very clean and bonus mimosas! Their pedis are fabulous and nothing beats their shellac skills. My nails look amazing and I feel super pampered. :)

They always know how to take care of me! Mimosa, a very good massage, worth any wait but they do their best to let you not wait at all!

I visited this salon regularly a little over three years ago. The owner was amazing, she remembered me every time I walked in and the nail work was precise.
I was driving by the salon yesterday and thought to stop by for old times sakes (since I now live in vancouver).
I asked for a full set and polish change on my toes. I just had a pedicure done so I didn’t want a new one. As the nail tech sat me down at the foot soak she asked me if I wanted a pedicure. I said no. She got out a nail file and said «pedicure?» I said no, I just want a new polish color. She took the polish off and told me I needed a pedicure. I’m a little frustrated by this point. I tell her no.
She mumbled something under her breath and moved to another foot bath. The she looked at me and pointed at the seat. Evidently she wanted me to move? She started yelling something in another language and I remember thinking if you can speak loudly to other people why wouldn’t you do that when speaking to me? Right before she puts the paint on my toe nails she tells me that I really need a pedicure. Mind you I just had one three days ago. I tell her no and let her know that I won’t be staying after my full set.
I go to pull out my debit card to pay and she points at an ATM machine. I know that they accept cards, but I just needed to get out so there was no point in arguing. Thankfully I had cash in my wallet. I go to hand her my cash and i stand there for at least a minute before she acknowledges me. Then she tells me it’s $ 15. $ 15… For a polish change. I am so disappointed in this nail salon. One star only because the polish was good. I’m just not a fan of shotty service
