RLP is a boutique lifestyle studio in SE Portland. We specialize in capturing emotion and interaction, allowing us to cater to every stage of life from newborns, children and families to fabulous wedding coverage. We want our images to be like your favorite candy from your childhood — every taste takes you back to the first moment you had it.

We customize wedding and event packages to meet each event’s need. Above all, we want our clients to walk away with memories of their big day that will last a lifetime and images that will remind them of a specific moment just by looking at them.

History

Established in 2007.

We founded Reversed Lens Photography after years of being art photographers as a way to share our passion for artistic images through a more personal medium. For us, it’s not just about taking pictures — it’s about capturing life in a way that can take our clients back to the moment when we pressed down on the shutter release.

Since our opening, we have expanded significantly. We now operate a full lifestyle studio in downtown Portland, with both in studio and location options for sessions, and offer event coverage throughout the US.

Business Owner

We’re a married couple living with three guitars, too many cookbooks, and our little girl in Portland, Oregon. For us, it’s not just about taking pictures. We’ve always seen life through a different lens and we love translating that into every person, every moment.

One of the things that sets us apart is that all of our session and events are shot in tandem. We’ve been a creative team for over a decade and bring that dynamic sense to each and every moment that we capture. Neither of us is the principle photographer because we’re artistic equals. We call it the «two-​fer» concept: two visions, two angles means that every facet of your life is captured.
