Anh has kept my nails looking spectacular for years. She is astoundingly good at nail designs! She has such an eye for detail that you will never walk away with a sub-​par manicure. It’s obvious that she’s very proud of her work and the positive relationships she has with her clients. I never go anywhere else and I would never dream of letting anyone else wax me! She always takes great care of me and would never let the wax burn. Her charismatic personality makes the irritations of waxing melt away – however, she might have you laughing too hard to continue at times. :)

Love getting my nails done here! The employees are all great and very accommodating to any specific requests. They always offer you a beverage (wine, tea, etc…) when you arrive and make you feel very welcome. They also do amazing work! If you want acrylics or some intricate nail art done just ask for Anh for your nail tech. She can do anything and my nails are always beautiful! Love them! :)

Ann is the best. The location is so convenient. This is one of the nicest nail spas I’ve been to.

Rex Nails is my fave for mani/​pedi/​waxing! Ann and Henry are very talented and always fun to see! 5 stars.

Finally! This salon is the prettiest most elegant nail salon I have ever been to. The best part is that I finally found a place that does pink & white acrylic nails that look natural (and you can’t see through the pink!!). They bring you lemon water in glass that they serve from a tray! Nice touch. his feel like a day spa. Pricier than I’m used to by a few dollars, but so worth it! Louanna did my nails and she was wonderful. So happy!

Amazeballs! Finally found a wonderful salon that is clean, reasonably priced, well stocked with wonderful not diluted polishes, doesn’t reek of chemicals, no TV blaring … Nim did a great job on my toes and Ann painted some wonderful nail art on my hands. The space is pretty and in a great location too. They serve tea and wine and gave me a refill. Such nice owners. They accommodate large parties and don’t charge a $ 500 fee unlike Fingerbang Nail Salon to have a party there. Love this place!

The same clean and beautiful salon with wonderfully nice people, but some of the newbies need to be trained and have more attention to detail.
Had a pedi and my nail cuticles trimmed and the cuticle trim was not complete. The pedi had little to no massage and not enough exfoliation.
This is rare for this location and I know they will correct it because they-​have a wonderful manager.

I have never been to a more beautiful, clean, friendly, and professional salon. The staff always goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, appreciated, and that your expectations are exceeded.
Henry is my fave, you’ll have some good laughs with him.
I’ve also had some facial waxing (brows) and they do an incredible job.
The biggest factor for me when deciding a nail salon is cleanliness… Rex Nails definitely doesn’t cheap out on tools

I love this place. It’s beautiful, clean, relaxing. And listen… I might have OCD so when I say a place for mani/​pedis is fantastic… I mean it. Ann is my tech and she is detail oriented, patient with my need for perfection and actually cares. She has done my eyelashes too. The owner Nim is amazing. He always remembers my name, the color of polish I wear and really takes care of his clients. I highly recommend this salon!

This place is as good as it gets! It is, by far, the nicest nail salon I’ve ever been to. Much nicer than most spas. And somehow they still manage to offer competitively priced services.
The nail technicians are fantastic. They do an incredible job — as I’m typing this, my current manicure is two weeks old and has barely chipped. (No, it’s not gel — just regular polish!)
I’ve been here probably a dozen times now and they’ve always done a fantastic job on manicures, Shellac, and pedicures.
Back to the technicians… In addition to them being good at their jobs, they’re so fun to chat with! They make jokes and talk with you and overall just nice, cool people. I feel really lucky to have found this place, and even luckier that it’s right by my condo.
And I actually have a couple girlfriends who don’t even live in the neighborhood who drive here just to get their nails done! There aren’t a lot of businesses in the South Waterfront that bring in people from outside — so that speaks volumes of Rex.

We had an exceptional spa experience yesterday at Rex’s Nail Salon. The beautiful atmosphere and happy, cheerful, and talented staff made our appointment the best I ever had. I took my son and a good friend for an afternoon of pampering and we had the best time. Everything was just perfect. Thanks! We will be back.

The space is lovely and clean, but ever since Sheri left I’ve never had a GREAT manicure or pedicure. I feel like my shellac manicures here are hastily done and never last as long as they do when I get them done other places… seriously my last gel manicure lasted less than 4 days before it started peeling off.

A beautiful and peaceful nail salon that never smells bad. I had stopped going to nail salons due to the horrid odor. Rex’s is clean, well managed, and staffed with great people. I have brought a couple friends here and the consensus is the same – AWESOME place. My manicures last three weeks. Love this place!

Everyone who works here is absolutely lovely! I had a gel manicure with Nina and it was perfect. My friend was running really late, and they stayed open late for us so we could have our manicures done together, excellent service! The salon is gorgeous and very clean. I will never go anywhere else in Portland for my nails!!!

Great atmosphere! Very relaxing and upscale spa feeling. Staff is very friendly :) nice long massages and attention to detail. Delish drinks can also book appointments online !

I love this place! I will definitely be back. I don’t mind paying a couple extra dollars for a mani pedi just to sit in this beautiful spa.

I was hesitant when a friend finally convinced me to get a mani/​pedi. The only thing I could think of was the nail salon on «Better Call Saul.» This place is the complete opposite of that, and every impression of nail salons that I previously had.
The beautiful atmosphere, wonderful massage chairs, and complimentary wine were enough to almost make me fall asleep. Thankfully my feet are very ticklish and I did stay awake through the entire experience!
The staff were very professional. I think they could tell that I was uncomfortable being a man doing a «girly» thing. They treated me with respect and answered all of my questions about what they were doing during each step and why.
Will I get another mani/​pedi? I don’t know. But if I do, it will only be at Rex

The people here are lovely and every attention to detail has been made to insure a wonderful experience. Feels like I’ve been transported to a faraway place… modern and comfortable, hip and cozy. I can’t wait to return! The nail bar is such a fantastic concept and the pedicure stations are somewhat private and I love the unique color of the foot baths and alternating chair colors. The Buddha statues add an exotic flavor to the space. It’s warm and inviting. They also have a fantastic selection of gel colors to choose from.
