This isn’t going to be nearly as entertaining as the two other reviews here. But I’m also not a crazy person, so I guess there’s that.
The folks here have always been super friendly and were nothing but helpful when I had never been to a broker before and just wanted to set up a little Roth IRA. Being able to chat with real people whenever you need them is fantastic. And perhaps most importantly, they’ve been transparent — as far as I can tell so far — in telling me about fees. That alone will win my long-​term business. Cheers, guys.

I would actually give 0 stars if it was possible. I just got off the phone with branch manager Joel Zamudiobucio who was yet again «unable» to help my family with our situation. My Father tried to close his account with this branch in May of 2013. He was sick and was no longer able to use the account. The representative he spoke with said that the account would be closed and that he should receive a check within 10 days. My Father actually passed away before the 10 days had passed and we didn’t receive a check. Now that he had passed and no check had come they said they wouldn’t relinquish the funds to our family. You have decided to STEAL they money Joel and Scottrade! Shame on you. I’m going to email the CEO of your company and let him know you can’t steal from anyone, but especially not a WWII and Korean War Vet without his family standing up to take care of business. You’ve been warned MF!

Scottrade offers $ 7 trades and have good customer support. I’ve called some of the local offices for answers to trade methods and password support — every time they’ve picked up on the second ring and I’ve spoken to a person who has answered my questions.
