It’s a typical Starbucks, the service is as you would expect, nice friendly. However the parking is a nightmare, tight spaces and congestion.

An unfortunate Starbucks– employees cannot Possibly have had any training in customer service. 7am Thursday morning, 4 employees, Long line, and they could not move. So interminably slow, and I watched bad time management, poor service and just … .slow movement! Will Not return.

Probably the worst Starbucks I’ve been to in my entire coffee drinking life. The lady at the front literally seems to hate her job. She didn’t ask me for my name or anything and therefore did not call my name out to notify me that my drink was finished. Wasted time and money at this place so of course I didn’t tip like I normally do. Not coming back here again.

This one is a bit crowded and noisy but it’s about like any other location besides that.

Coming from the opinion of a former Starbucks’ employee, this has got to be one of the worst Starbucks in the area. I’d say I have about a 40% accuracy rate when ordering here. I order my bacon breakfast sandwich with no cheese — not that complicated — and I’d say my sandwich comes with cheese on it at least 60% of the time. I’ve had multiple drinks made wrong here and horrible customer service when I’ve politely asked them to be fixed. They don’t seem to pay much attention to their lobby, as I’ve had to point out to them on several occasions when their trashes are overflowing. If you have a Starbucks hankering, I’d recommend going to one of the many other Starbucks in the area.

I typically love Starbucks(I’m also a big fan of supporting the local coffee scene but Starbucks knows what they’re doing). I’m not impressed with this location though. The girl at the register wasn’t friendly. She was there to take my payment. That’s it. This never happens to me at a Starbucks! I asked for a nonfat latte. I have no idea how long it took because nobody took my name and nobody called out my drink. It just sat on the bar. I know, typical lazy American. God forbid Starbucks doesn’t call my name. But really, it’s what they normally do. I now have my latte. It’s not the best. I might give it a 4⁄10. Please shape up Hillsdale Starbucks. I want to like you. I really do!

Starbucks is great if you can’t get the local cup-o-joe in PDX, so I’d say this place is about average for a Starbucks. The service is quick and they’re always friendly. However, during the school year you’ll definitely be caught in MS/HS aged kids loitering around between 9a-11a… In huge groups. So, I try to avoid this location on the way to work if I need my caffeine fix near that time. Tip: The service may be quick and friendly, but order quickly to keep those behind you friendly.

I was lucky enough to be on the receiving end of a giftcard from the ultimate chain coffee shop… STARBUCKS! Big up to my Auntie — THANKS! The grand thing about getting said giftcard is that there is a shop on every corner in Portland. YEAH! The capitol highway starbucks is one that I walk by often, so now I get to walk by and grab a soy latte. I wish they offered plain soy milk… they only have vanilla which is WAY too sweet(especially when you want chai which is already sweet). Since they don’t have plain, I am forced(seriously, there is someone twisting me arm every time!) to order a soy latte. When most of your current life seems unpredictable, getting the exact same soy latte at any starbucks location can be such a comfort! The staff at this location is pretty chatty and I like that they anwer questions with more than one word.
