Was hesitant at first but the Philly sandwich was good and filling. Best I’ve had in a long time!

For the record, I’ve never been to Philadelphia. So, I guess I’ve never had a REAL Philly cheesesteak. But I have had my share of whack wannabe cheesesteaks in other US cities. So, I guess if I went to Philly, this is what I’d expect if I ordered a Philly cheesesteak. The sandwiches here are massive and the quality is top notch. Super friendly service and an owner that really cares about his product. Motown Philly back again!

in town from texas and got this recommendation from a local. thank youuuu local! this place was a complete dive, but the food that they crank out is nothing short of amazing.
got the roughrider with cheese whiz on it and damn! what a great choice. the horseradish and cheese were incredible together. it tasted like a high end beef and cheddar from arby’s. it was insane. i really wish i could bring this home with me, but if i ever come back-i’m hitting this place up again. oh yea, we had fries too-​who cares about the fries though? they were hot and fresh. heheh!

This place has amazing food and great customer service. I would like to think for the price that you pay you would be able to get some ranch for free. Thats my only complaint abiut this place. Give me some ranch for my fries for gods sake i paid 32.00 for 2 sandwiches and fries.

The fries are excellent. The sandwiches are excellent. The prices are excellent. Seriously, if you want cheesesteak, there really isn’t another option in Portland that even comes close.
Now don’t bother me, I am eating a cheesesteak sammich.

Finally ate here the other day. Lots of different options for toppings. Cheesesteak was pretty damn good! Service was friendly and efficient. I’ll definitely be back.

Poor service. They get the orders wrong. Long wait for the food and they don’t any cheese on the sandwiches. I’ve had better Philly’s in town.
Wouldn’t recommend it.

I’m a long time regular and a neighbor of Stekadelphia, I tip and feel like the staff provides good service. I don’t eat any meat but they’ve always offered a terrific, mouthwatering vegetarian sandwich. Today I was informed that they will no longer be offering a vegetarian sandwich because the owner simply doesn’t want to offer this item any longer. Would like to continue supporting this local business. Unfortunately, I have no choice but to go elsewhere. Odd to see a business turn away regular, friendly customers who tip but there are certainly other places in the vicinity that value my patronage.

I just waited 55 minutes for a cheesesteak. People ordered after me came and went as I waited. I almost don’t even want to eat it anymore. I will not return even if this sandwich is good. Service was terrible.

I only gove it two stars because i am being honest. I like Cheese steaks. I think you get two stars for coming somewhere in the vacinity of being a good cheese steak. This place… i keep trying to give them a fourth star. Like others i want them to be good. It is convenient it is on my way home. It could be a once a week stop. Sadly it is not. After this i will need another month if i even try it again. Guess what? I loked the cheese steak. It was full of flavor. It was cooked philly style with oil and the water to melt the cheese and keep the steak juicy. Here is what it wasnt. What i ordered. I dont see how they cant get the orders right? I ordered Prove Philly. Sweet Peppers mushrooms and lettuce. I asked are the mushrooms fried? Yes they are. Ok you want… she reads it back to me. Perfect. Did it take a little longer than i would like? Yes. Did i mind? No. I wanted this and i was craving it. There were two people it took over 20 minutes. The other person had already ordered. I dont know why. Its not as important as getting the order wrong. Which seems to be consistent. No mushrooms. No lettuce. No sweet peppers. How do you do that??? She mentioned a sauce they put on asked if i wanted that I said sure. If a little bit of ketchup oddly place on only a quarter of the sandwhich is their sauce. Thay was all that was there. I cant honestly recoend this place but i cant say it doesnt taste good. Whatever it is you end up with.

Decided to give this place another shot and I was pleased by the improvement of the Philadelphia Cheesesteak I had. The flavor stood out much more than the first time.
It is exactly what I had been looking for in a sandwich from them, great flavor, something to leave me satisfied, and amazing service. I’ll be recommending this place from here on out.

This place has the second best cheesesteaks in town. Good food, bad service. Despite that, if you like cheesesteaks, you will like these. Good amount of meat /​veggies for the price.
They do put red sauce on all the subs for some reason. I always ask for them to leave it out. About half the time they don’t and I have to send it back.

I love, love, love, Steakadelphia, they have one of the best cheese-​steak sandwiches (w/​o Steakadelphia sauce) and the best cheese-​steak supremes (w/​o Steakadelphia Sauce) in the city of Portland Oregon.
The restaurant itself is a super simple one room (with bathroom) design that is basically divided by one partial wall. The employees are on the inside and there is a small dining area on the outside of the wall. There is also outdoor seating on the sidewalk which is nice with Portland’s ever changing weather.
As far as food goes I love the large Cheese Whiz Philly with half hot peppers and half sweet peppers (ask to 86 the Steakadelphia sauce it is just sweet ketchup). The bread soaks up the delicious juices from the meat/​cheeze whiz/​mayo and makes the sandwich a moist, dripping, gargantuan, beast of a cheesesteak. Honestly, yet arguably, the best cheesesteak I have ever had. Other times I go with the supreme (again sans Steakadelphia sauce and bells) which is a cheese-​steak with white American cheese, mushrooms, and peppers.
Fries are ok, not great, but you are not here for fries.
Service is generally a little slow-​but the bar facing the side street is nice. Grab a Pepsi (no Coke) or a beer and sit at the bar and get ready for the best cheese-​steak in the city.

This place has some pretty decent Phillies. Came here today with the boyfriend. He ordered all the fixings to a large order of the cheese steak. I decided to see what their hamburgers tasted like with a side of cheese fries.
Do expect a wait of about 10 – 15 minutes after ordering to feast on your meal. I suggest an alternative location for food if you don’t want to play that waiting game. When they called out our name, Chocolate Thunder, we were elated to finally feast. I was quite surprised that their «cheese fries» were just fries with a cup of hot liquid cheese. Not what I was expecting, but still tasty.
My hamburger was actually really good! It was cooked just right and I could tell they seasoned it with pepper to make it more flavorful. It tasted even better dipping it into that liquid cheese too!
Definitely take the trip to the SE side to try this place out! Do it for the taste buds!

I avoided it for a long time because of the plethora of lukewarm reviews. That was sure stupid of me!
At any this is what a philly cheese steak is supposed to taste like, perfection! Perfect bread, great thin griddled steak with onion, and white american cheese. I also added mushrooms and hot peppers.
The sandwich was cheesy, moist, and on-​point. Enough said.
Fries were great, maybe a little under salted but that’s easy enough to remedy. Large, crispy and pillowy on the inside.
Service was prompt, they were very busy and took about 10 mins to get my sandwich at the most.
