Stones & Stuff

LOVE coming here! The environment is so peaceful. The staff are all so educated. They ALWAYS find the answer for me. The stones are genuinely beautiful. I would highly recommend stones n’ stuff!

Aside from my favorite yoga studio, Stones & Stuff might be the most peaceful indoor space in Portland. Each time I step inside I feel immediately transported to I don’t even know where — to like, a cloud, maybe. (I would like to be the Duchess of Stones & Stuff but the vibe in here is so nice that I would feel like a huge jerk pulling out my phone to check in.)
The smaller stones are displayed throughout the store so you can pick them up and choose just the right one. The bigger and more delicate ones are under glass. They have descriptions of every stone and include a copy with your purchases.
The staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable. They always give me great recommendations based on what I’m looking for. One employee in particular helped me select a stone when I was dealing with some really difficult emotions and I will always be grateful to her. I didn’t share many details with her but she understood, didn’t pry, and suggested the perfect stone!
The last time I went, I wanted to get a stone for my friend. The employee helped me find just the right stone and then wrapped it for me in a teeny tiny gift bag! It was a very nice touch — I wish I took a picture.
I’ve had only good experiences at this store. I’ll be back.

Walked in on a whim and found a great store. Some good deals, for example the 14 dollar copper spheres are worth more than that just for the raw copper. Not that I’m gonna melt it down or anything. Really beautiful stock of crystals and stones. The owner was super informative and in general it was a welcoming and positive vibe.

Was looking up my favorite places on Unilocal and I noticed that Stones&stuff only has one review so I thought I’d dust off the keyboard and change that !
Reasons to check it one.
1 Great selection minerals and crystals from all over, many of them suitable for use in jewelry but she also has many that will be perfectly happy soaking up the sun on your favorite shelf.
2 Staff are all into their job so no need to worry about getting the right stone for ‘the task’
3 S& S staff members also provide Tarot, art and photography items (along with two friendly lizards named Basel and Sage who enjoy looking at the two legged folk walking around their store).
4 They host community workshops and events, yes, that includes the occasional crystal healing sessions, no shortage of materials to work with here !

i discovered Stones & Stuff a couple weeks ago when i was on the hunt for a Halloween gift, and they had just what i was looking for!
this place has a cool assortment of precious stones and lots of stuff that feels pretty witchy awesome to me. plus the owner showed me her leopard geckos, proving 1) that she is super rad, 2) that this is a fun place to visit.
why not stop in? lots to see and touch and learn. i hear the shop also offers tarot readings and healing sessions, so that’s pretty neato. i’m looking forward to going back and chatting more with the owner!
