Sunny’s Cleaners

Best dry cleaning experience I’ve had in portland. Clothes come back clean at a very reasonable price. Sunny is friendly and attentive. Customer-​centered business. Their little dog (see other reviews) is on the couch whenever I go in, but it has never shown any interest in me, for whatever that’s worth…

Yeah, well, I ignored the damn dog because I don’t reach out to pet strange dogs (it’s not a good idea), but it hopped off it’s perch & BIT ME. So, I would avoid the business altogether because the owner clearly cannot control his dog.

I love having a nearby cleaners… very convenient, straightforward, fast and inexpensive! I feel that compared to other places Sunnys is a great deal. I love their little dog, and appreciate any business that has a shop dog. This dog also sends out clear signals, as with most situations, (not to blame the victim but…), us humans are usually not reading dogs well when we get bitten, I speak from experience.

This place great. Inexpensive, fast, reliable and the owners and their dog are very nice once you get to know them. You can tell they’re hardworking and care about their business. I’ve been a customer for over 2 years and have never been disappointed.

First off, they have a fluffy little rugrat of a dog hanging out in the front. I thought «how cute he is!» Then, he came over to me to check me out, so I pet him, and he bit me! Yes, he drew blood! I should have ended it there, but I went ahead and left my suits. They were ready in just two days, but they charged me $ 24 for two suits, and the creases on my black pants were off. Then, they stole my special hangers (the one’s with the little clippys for the pants or skirts), and replaced them with run of the mill wire-​paper covered things. I’m hoping I will have better luck with the King cleaners on MLK. It’s closer to my house, and already, they only charged me $ 15.95 for the two suits. More to come when I pick up those.
