Absolutely love this place. I’ve only had their tacos, but they have the best street tacos in town!

I just had 7 tacos for dinner. Tipped 2.50 and only spent $ 10 total. Tried almost all the meats and all were fantastic.

Tacos make everyone happy, no matter the time of day. We were in town for a conference last week and hired Taqueria Las Piedritas to give out tacos as a promotional giveaway. Not only was Gustavo and his family so communicative leading up the event, their tacos are all the rage. People kept coming to us saying how the tacos were so delicious and exactly what they needed after a long day of talking and drinking beer. My personal favorites were the carnitas and the lengua tacos. Be sure to squeeze that lime for an extra sour kick. I would highly recommend working with Gustavo if you’re looking for a unique way to cater your next event!

Not the best but not the worst. Was expecting something spectacular and worthy of getting out of bed at 12 am for but it wasn’t all that great. The tortillas were really good but the pastor was not the best, it was shredded which was weird but eh.

Was coming back from a concert in Portland and my friends and I really wanted some tacos. Well what is open at 1 am on a freezing cold Wednesday? This little taco truck was! Seriously props to these guys just for being open!!! Everything was super cheap. I myself had two shredded beef tacos. They make their own tortillas, and you can defiantly tell the difference. These tacos for sure hit the spot. Their sauces were really the highlight. The habanero sauce was on fire! figuratively and literately. I wish I ordered more stuff because after my last bite of taco, I was longing for more.

Theeee Taco Truck since day one for us Crown workers. Accept no substitute from over priced pinks and kings that have tried to move in on their territory. Fresh tortillas. Succulent Pastor. Nice people. Cheap and reasonable prices.

Taqueria Las Piedritas on the corner of NW4th& Davis(aka«The Taco Truck») has become our go-to place after hours in Old Town. The other night my guy said to me, «Do you realize we haven’t been to the taco truck in three days? They’re gonna worry something happened to us!» He was right. We didn’t want to worry anyone, so we trekked over to grab a taco. Run by two brothers from Mexico, the food is authentic, simple, fresh, and consistently good. These guys work hard and sincerely care that their customers are happy. Typical hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10PM to around 3AM. However, one Saturday night we were there at 2AM, and then passed by the corner the next morning on our way to stake out a place on the parade route. The taco truck was open! We asked the owner if he’d been there all night. «No,» he said; he’d gone home and slept for an hour. So we had breakfast there too. Prices are so low you feel like you’re stealing(we always leave a decent tip in the jar). And service is super speedy, despite a constant crowd out front. I don’t think we’ve ever waited more than 7 or 8 minutes, even on the busiest night. Before ordering, my partner in crime always looks for the handwritten sign«We have lengua»(tongue) that sometimes gets taped to the menu. It is a special that can be added to most of the menu offerings. My favorite is the quesadilla with carne asada. There are several sauces to choose from in varying degrees of spicy, and a selection of self serve bottled and canned beverages in a compartment under the order window. If you loathe panhandlers, this may not be the place for you. But if you emerge from Last Call anywhere in the vicinity and need a bite to ward off the impending morning hangover, be sure to check them out. Even if you’re not in the vicinity, it’s worth the walk.

I think you can guess why I was getting tacos from a food cart at 2:30 am. So keep that in mind when I say I inhaled«the most delicious tacos I have ever come across. Seriously, Daniel, have you tasted anything better than these tacos? Should we get more? Man, these are so good, it’s like we’re in Mexico. How’d you find this place? Doesn’t everyone else think these are amazing? Wow, mmm! Can I try yours? Oh my god, it’s so good! Oh, here, try mine. How long are you guys open ’til in case I want more?»(The answer is 3:00 — 3:30AM, depending on when the crowd dwindles down). Great traditional tacos in a very non-descript cart. That’s when Mexican food is at its best! A burrito was also ordered, but I parted ways with my friend before I got to steal a bite. I’m not sure if I’ll ever manage to post a sober account of this place, but stay tuned.
