web since 2005. We’ve restored over 10,000 high-​grade antique and high-​grade mid-​century

pocket and wrist watches for many thousands of customers across America and Canada and

continue to please our customers. Many folks under 50 years old have never owned or wound

a vintage mechanical timepiece — so we take extra steps to educate them about what they have,

how it’s supposed to work. Most of our customers are 60 years old and older and are focused

on getting the family watch — in top condition again so they can pass it along to the next custodian

of the family heirloom timepiece. Yelp normally is geared to youngsters who offer the world their

expertise in reviewing the relative sogginess of french fries, and snowboard equipment, so we expect

not to generate much commerce on this site. All good however, we’re very busy and are normally

History

Established in 1987.

My name is Terry Nelson and I live in Portland Oregon. My specialty is the restoration of mechanical timepieces. Though a humble man, I believe that you deserve to know who you are sending your watch to.

Upon completion of coursework from Kansas City School of Watchmaking, I opened my watch repair business here in rainy Portland, Oregon, where I was later elected Secretary Treasurer of the State Watchmakers Guild.

Previous to my involvement in watch repair, I matriculated and was employed in the engineering field where I endeavored myself in:

Oceanographic engineering

Geophysic engineering

Department of Defense work

Robotics

Though these are exciting fields, they pale in comparison to the finesse and mechanical prowess needed to become a competent watch maker.
