Let me tell you something, this store is my jam. I’ve previously had terrible customer service with Verizon. I’ve since switched to Tmobile, but when I started my new small business I knew I wanted the quality of Verizon and the dependability of their network. Jon R (self described as the brotha with the glasses) helped me get 6 phones and a tablet for my business. He was funny, fast (I didn’t have to take a day off work to come into the store), super friendly and didn’t pressure me to buy things I didn’t need. He’s actually the only person I’ll ever contact at Verizon– were even going to switch out personal phones to Verizon– but only if Jon R is available to help us.

Jon R has the most amazing customer service I’ve ever experience at any Verizon store. So helpful and knowledgable. He’s kind and to the point, all the while listening to our needs. HE’S SO HELPFUL. If you need anything, let him help you out. He’ll take care of you.

Abraham was great! Very personal, down to earth and hooked me up with a great promotional deal! I did notice another employee talking down to an elderly customer and that was really sad to see. In customer service you need to learn to have more compassion for the elderly community. That employee seemed like he didn’t really care and was talking way too fast for the customer to understand anything, but I know the manager spoke with him. Anyways I had a great and actually enjoyable experience working with Abraham!

Every time I visit a Verizon store, I remember why I hate Verizon so much and so regret having gone back to them and being locked in. It may not be a reflection of this store specifically, but it is a reflection of the poor service commitment by Verizon.
The last time I went in, the person who «helped» me, was no help at all, They did absolutely nothing that I had not done already myself, including «googling» how to do a factory reset on my phone. Really? You don’t even know that? Apparently anyone can and does work there. Then she got kind of snotty with me when I asked for a replacement phone. The next phone was as bad as the one I had returned (It was a DROID and they suck!). After a few weeks of putting up with another bad DROID with issues, I bought a Galaxy S3 on Craigslist. Love this phone but needed a new battery for it. Looked it up and I found information that said I could get it at a Verizon store. So I went to the store. The sales person looked thoroughly confused when I asked for a battery and explained that they don’t sell batteries for their phones there. Really? Once again Verizon, you fell very short of the mark to help me out.
My biggest complaint about Verizon? Data restrictions and premiums. Just using my GPS once on my phone will use up my Data allowance for the month. Oh I can get more, by paying a lot more. But with most other carriers having unlimited data, why does Verizon have the highest prices and lowest data availability?

Ghetto customer service style is more like it. I walked in and walked out in lesser than a minute. The whole crew needs to be in customer service courses (extensive courses)!
Maybe Verizon needs to get everyone to say, Good morning/​Good afternoon/​Good evening, how may I help you?
Instead of … Hey, what sup!
Why don’t you throw in a gangster sign while you’re at it?

I never thought I would be writing a review about a Verizon store, but after my latest experience there I had to just say the manager Josh was just fantastic. He helped with my problem and got me out quickly. Thanks again Josh.

I went in to exchange my s6 for a more accessible friendly phone. I spoke with aleric. He was rude and condescending. When I explained I have vision issues he kept cutting me off and trying to explain features on the s6 that were irrelevant. I attempted to explain to him what I was looking for but he wouldn’t listen. His tone was so argumentative and angry I left the store in tears without exchanging the phone.

I came here yesterday hoping to buy a new phone. The girl who ended up helping me out just wasted my time. She had long blonde hair and a giant fake diamond ring on. She was RUDE and had the shittiest attitude.
I asked to switch my line from another carrier so I could get a new phone at a discounted price. This took a very long time. When she was inputting my information she just stood there and stared at me. After a while of just standing there I asked «Is it done processing my information yet?» Then she smugly replied «Ya, it’s been done.» How in the hell and I’m supposed to know whats happening on her screen?! Then after she told me everything was what I asked for she tried to charge me $ 600 for something that she said would be $ 200. I told her that this was disappointing since this is now what I asked for in the first place. She obviously wasn’t paying attention. She gave me a look that could only be described as «I don’t give a shit if I wasted your time.» As I walked out she condescendingly yelled at my back «Have a GREAT day!» I was never rude to her so I don’t understand why she would treat me like that. I don’t know why you would go out of your way to be a jerk like that.
After this I went to T-​Mobile and they took really great care of me. I will never go back to this store. As someone who works in customer service, I am appalled at how they treat their customers.

Verizon has had our business for 12 years, to the tune of about $ 30,000. We’ve had little contact with the company, other than to get new phones every couple of years.
Two months before I was eligible for an upgrade, my iPhone 4S got wet and stopped working. Switching to a barely functioning backup was a multi-​hour experience, and I received erroneous information and promises along the way from various telephone representatives (who are either horribly trained or told to get the customer off the phone by any means possible), including «We’re going to let you upgrade a month early. Just go a local store and give them this special code.»
I went to the Clackamas Verizon store to get the early upgrade and was sent on my way with a «No, sorry, you can’t do that.» I then borrowed a 5S and took it to the store near Mall 205 store, but was told — sigh — that it came initially from AT&T so I could not. At this point, I was so frustrated that I probably came across as a crazy lady, which may or may not be the reason the customer service representative, Alexis, took me to Colter, the manager. He immediately figured out a way for me to get a new phone.
I can’t speak highly enough of the customer service I received. Colter and Alexis should be working for a better company than Verizon (I give them five stars, but am knocking down my rating because of the company). But for my sake, I hope they stick around.

After a few minutes was helped by the manager Bret S, who was very knowledgeable. Verizon has the best coverage and we added a smart phone to our family plan.

I have been to this store twice in the last week, both times I have seen the service staff treat clients like sh! t.
The store has a policy of putting you on a wait list the moment that you walk in the door. The wait times were half and hour and a full hour the two times that I was there. Sounds like they need to hire more people.
My first visit was awkward — as I was standing by the door a man walked in. The Verizon employee wanted to check him in. The guy said that he had just talked with a manager on the phone who told him to stop in and pick up his replacement battery. The employee insisted that he get on the wait list because «everyone is waiting to be helped and it would not be fair for you to cut in front of that lady», pointing to me. The customer again repeated his request, this time mentioning the manager, who he just spoke to, by name. The employee repeated his statement as well, once again pointing to me, implying that I am some impatient assh0le. Responding to the employee’s condescending attitude the customer asked to speak to a manager. The manager then came over & apologized, got the guy his battery (which is what was promised) and he was on his way. NBD. That situation could have been handled so much better but the employee — now they have a pissed of customer who could have easily been serviced without hassle.
After waiting a ½ hour a gal came over to help me. She proceeded to tell me that the information that I had received about my new phone set up was incorrect (it had been given to my husband by another store employee a few days before) and she would «see what she could do to help me *sigh*». Well, geez, I hope so, since I just waited 30 minutes to be helped. Not off to a good start.
After getting my phone set up I decided that I wanted a screen cover for my phone. She sold me on a $ 25 one, which she installed. With bubbles in it. When I asked her about the bubbles she said «well I can keep pulling it up for you, but it will loose it’s stickiness». Basically making me feel guilty about wanting a good product. I was pretty upset later about the fact that I did not stand up for myself a little more and demand a replacement, but she had already given me the impression that I wasn’t getting anywhere with her.
The final straw that day was when I was standing at the counter waiting to pay and the original employee (the rude guy who shunned the other customer) came up to me to apologize for the man’s behavior. «I’m sorry about that guy earlier thinking he could cut in line». I took this opportunity to know that I was not bothered by the customer’s behavior and I would not have minded if he got helped before me. The fact that I was involved in the interaction at all was very unprofessional and embarrassing.
Second visit — not any better. This time there was an hour wait. Checking in at the door I was encouraged not to wait, since the store was closing in an hour. The store employee told me that what I wanted to do could be done online. Then when I tried to ask him about my screen cover (hoping that they would be willing to help me get it fixed since I had not been happy with the installation) he told me that everyone in the store was waiting to ask «one small question» and that I would have to wait to talk with someone about it. No thanks.
Unfortunately, the employees of this store seem to feel (or have been trained) to think that we are all idiots. Their holier-​than-​thou attitude might work for pressure sales but it does not make loyal clients. It makes the customer feel sour on the brand and after purchasing a $ 300 iPhone, $ 50 case, $ 25 screen cover and a $ 55 battery recharger I would like to think that I am not a disposable customer. I will not return to this store.

High pressure sales, don’t trust a word that comes out of their mouths. Worst than a car salesman! Verizon stores didn’t use to be like this.

Decent enough people, but they talk forever with everybody. I’ve been waiting here for 45 mins after being «checked in». I understand they’re busy, but if they cut down on small talk I would have time to eat lunch today.

While I’m waiting for a couple of hours to talk to a representative, I get this feeling in my gut that tells me that Verizon is ran by money hungry, time wasting, pretentious D-​bags! I’ve been to this particular store a few times and my experience is always the same. First I wait way too long for what I’m trying to do, and second I leave feeling used up, like a dirty dish sponge. This store sucks.

I’ve been in here several times. Very long wait… Been waiting ½ hour now for help the service is great once I get help. But who likes to wait this long for help?

I just returned home from one of the greatest customer service experiences I’ve ever had at an electronics store. I was in need of an iPhone and upon letting the sales rep (Matthew) know what my needs were, I wasn’t faced with any type of up-​selling or BS tech-​talk. He addressed all of my questions and set me up with a new phone and service in a short amount of time. In addition to Matthew, the other staff seemed courteous and professional. If you are in search of a Verizon store with great customer service, this is the place to go. Don’t waste time anywhere else, even if it’s closer to home, go to this location!

For the past 6 years, my wife and I used to go to another Verizon Wireless store that was closer to our house. We thought all phone store employees were the same… halfway between a DMV worker and a car salesman… not at all interested in customer service and only interested in commission. We just subjected ourselves to them every two years, trying to get in and out as quick as possible with our «new every two.»
We just happened to be over at mall 205, and I decided to stop in to look at the Android phones. After my great experience with the very helpful staff at this store, I will drive the extra ½ hour. I have told numerous other people how good my experience was there. Our sales rep, Randy B, was very knowledgeable regarding the battery life of different phones and data usage plans that would fit certain models. He also was able to assess my needs in a phone and find the perfect one. Additionally he made all the receipt copies we needed and cut out the UPCs from the boxes and put them all into envelopes so we could just drop the rebates into the mail. Wow!

Stopped in here to kill some time. Wanted to play with the Samsung Galaxy Tab to see if I really wanted /​needed it.
The store had the old Verizon store look, not the new «Apple store» look which is much more modern. As soon as I walked in, I was friendly greeted. I told them I was just going to check out the Galaxy Tab and they quickly pointed me to where they were sitting.
Soon after, a sales guy (wish I remembered his name) came up to me and asked me if I had any questions. I told him I was trying to decide and he was actually a voice of reason. He didn’t talk me out of making a horrible impulse purchase, but just asked the right questions as to if I really NEEDED it. I didn’t expect that from a sales guy. He was honest and had my best interest in mind.
So far, great experience at this store, but I didn’t actually have any service done.
