Food is always hot. Customer service is polite and friendly. Place is well kept. One of my favorite locations. Keep up the good work!

Ordered two bacon double cheeseburgers and they were inedible. Not that I expected gourmet food but so salty and gross had to throw them away. :(Will NOT be back.

I stop at McDonalds occasionally, especially when I travel.(note: I live in Portsmouth) This Lafayette Rd. McDonalds is the worst I’ve experienced. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a correct order. My LAST time there my fries were soggy and my burger was dry and tasteless. This was after a 25 minute wait in the drive through line.(not lunch or dinner time) Oh, and their prices have now gone up so much, it makes 5 Guys and other restaurants more attractive.

I took my twins here on early Wednesday morning. It was raining so I thought coffee and yougurt would be good. The service and the drinks were excellent. I brought the twins into the play place and I went ahead to check the stairs and slide tubes to make sure they were safe for their age. They are as long as they don’t touch anything. My concern was that all the walls and stairs were full of smears of dirt. The floors had food particles everywhere that looked like they had been there a long time. The tops of the tubes had an inch of incrusted dirt and dust. This was the filthiest place for children I have ever seen. I know Mcdonalds employs a standard in all things but they must be understaffed or something. This place smells and there is a humming noise in the play area from lights or something that was very loud. If this is not cleaned daily does that mean other areas are neglected? I don’t know but anyone with any type of training would know this is disgusting and potentially unsafe. I will go back this weekend to take photos. Hope fully this will be resolved.

Attitude tonight from the woman at the drive-thru. Waited at the drive thru 10 – 15 minutes and there was only one car in front at the window. Ordered a Big Mac meal and got big attitude in return. The manager has to be sure they put customer friendly people at the drive thru.

Clean and efficient… when they are not busy. If you stop in for lunch during the week make sure you check you’re order before leaving.

Well, what to say? You should pretty much know what you are going to get. It’s supposed to be quick and hot and it was. Food is what it is. It’s not fancy but gets the job done. I would give 4 stars if the girl at the window didn’t have such a bad attitude. Other than that it’s acceptable and what I expect from any fast food joint. There is a huge play-land in here if you have kids that need entertaining but I have not been inside so I can’t attest to the cleanliness, but I do have a friend who takes her nephew here to play a lot so it must be pretty good.

Me — «Uhm, yesterday I only got one piece of chicken in my salad and I paid for two». John Dickenson, Portsmouth McDonalds Manager — «Did you call it in?» «No, I just assumed you would make it right the next time» … «If you didn’t call it in, how do I know your telling the truth?» «Right… Because I spend my time scamming McDonalds out of an extra piece of chicken»

On my way down to North Hampton to visit the Harley-Davidson dealership, I stopped in here for a snack as I had missed lunch. It was about 4:30 pm and there were no other customers inside when I walked in. I ordered the Filet-O-Fish sandwich, no fries or beverage. To my delight, they made the sandwich to order! It was fresh and piping hot when it came out! Meaning the cheese was melted just the way it should be — and combined with the Tartar sauce, made for a tasty snack!
