The hours on the door say they are open until 6pm but when I came here at 4pm they were closed. I don’t think I will try to come back because as a customer, it is hard to know when they are open. This business owner obviously doesn’t know what they are doing. Which is sad because there are not many bakeries in Portsmouth that are open after 3pm.

Pinky Sweets did an AMAZING job on my cake and cupcake favors. She made a custom stand just for me to match my theme. I ended up choosing 6 flavors(one flavor I wanted wasn’t on her menu, but she created it anyway). The cake arrived on time, she has a friendly staff and, even with all my additions, her price was completely affordable. She has a small quiet shop, but that means she can really focus on your event and can dedicate herself to ensuring her job is done well. There was no leftover cake at my wedding, despite having 20 reception guest no-shows. Now that’s good cake.

I bought a cake for my husband’s birthday party and I was very dissatisfied with what I received especially after how much I paid for it. The cake was suppose to feed 15 – 20 people but it could have fed 100. The frosting was okay but the vanilla cake was very dry, hard and tasted like cornbread. I expressed my disappointment to the owner with no reply. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

First time here and was very pleased. A great assortment of cupcakes. They packaged them up nicely for my return trip home. Everyone enjoyed them and we will definitely return.

I located this little sweets shop in route to my normal bakery. I know, I was cheating on her but hey, I saw cupcakes on a sign and figured the least that I could do was check the place out. The shop is a cute little shop. It is located in the shopping center where the Long John Silvers is located. You walk in and youre greeted by a counter full of glass encased goodies. I went on a Saturday and there were at least 8 different types of cupcakes to choose from. There was no one behind the counter when I arrived however just a few seconds after entering the place and drooling over the cupcake lineup a nice young man walked from the back area and promptly offered to assist me. I asked him to explain what each cupcake flavor was as there were no individual signs in front of the cupcakes to be identify them. They all looked very good. I wanted a Red Velvet but did not see one in the line up. The young man pointed out one that had the look of a fudge type of cake but he insisted that it was red velvet. I asked him if he was sure and he again advised me that it was indeed red velvet. After taking a look at the board on the wall I finally determined on my own that it may have been the chocolate velvet but that was not verified. I decided to go with the Neopolitan cupcake. My first bite which was mainly icing impressed me and made my taste buds happy. It took me back to the days of what my brother and I called«3 flavor ice cream» The icing was delish. Now the cake itself, leaves something to be desired. It was very thick, thick and did I say thick. You definitly need a cup of water and milk to make it through the entire thing. The cake flavor wasnt bad but the cake itself had a thick weird consistancy. If the go back to the drawing board on the cake portion and mesh that with their delicious icing, I may just have to cheat on my usual bakery all the time.

Cupcakes I ordered from here were terrible. Ordered $ 100 worth of cupcakes and cakepops for my birthday. My guests jus made faces and thew them away. When I called the store about my issue the owner cussed me out(apparently making my order caused her to miss her daughters America’s Got Talent audition) and she hung up on me :(I will NEVER do buisness with them again. I lost my money and was seriously disrespected.
