I have never felt so comfortable with a dentist. The whole staff is so nice and professional. I recently went in for a cleaning, then back in today to get wisdom teeth out and I honestly didn’t feel a thing. I was surprised when we were done that we were done. I would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Seriously Amazing!!! This is how an office should be run and how an appointment (dentist or other) should go. After a disastrous visit to Western Dental, I checked carefully on Unilocal for local Poway Dentists. Dr. Chung and his staff came in at 5 stars across the board, so I gave him a whirl.
Starting with a phone call, I was greeted with a friendly, unhurried voice. Explained my situation, my sons dentist Dr. Baker, had moved offices out of Poway and our insurance has very few choices in Poway, basically all the Dentists at Western Dental, which we will never step foot there again, and we need to get him scheduled as soon as possible for his regular check up. Coincidentally, they had a cancellation at 2:00. Score! We took it. When we got there, I noticed right away the office is is clean and clearly very well organized. We were greeted with a smile and handed the usual new patient paperwork. As soon as I handed the completed paperwork to her, Oli was escorted to Dr. Chung. Within 10 minutes, I was asked to come back and speak with the Dr. He showed me the x-​rays and explained there were two very small, very visible cavities, the rest of his teeth were fine. The front desk explained our options, being they offer an «in house» plan for cash paying clients, we took that. It was reasonable and no pressure at all. He was able to do the fillings after the cleaning, which Dr. Chung did himself, and we were out of there! We were handed a goodie bag,…which included a tube of toothpaste, toothbrush and floss. We were offered to set up out 6 month appointment, which we did, because we will be going back!!!
This was the best dental office experience ever. There is nothing I would change about it.

Best dentist experience my husband and I have ever had. Having had braces for 8 years, I’m pretty comfortable with the dentist. My husband, not so much; but, Dr. Chung was able to take care of both of our needs. Customer service was superb and Dr. Chung is very knowledgeable, makes you feel comfortable, and does an amazing job completely painlessly. He has a true gift. We’ve found our dentist for years to come.

Dr. Chung is awesome, staff is great, and facility is clean and well organized. I made the mistake of flossing my temporary crown prior to getting the permanent. Dr. Chung squeezed me into his scheduled and fixed it for free in about five minutes. I also like that I got an email reminding me of my previous appointment a few days prior which seems to be part of their computer system — I just got another for my next appointment which is in a couple of days. Anyway… highly recommend AllDent and Dr. Chung!

Doctor Chung is the MAN!!!
It’s been a long time since i had my teeth looked at and was fearing/​dreading getting my teeth worked on.
Just to give you an idea, i have 4 fillings and 2 crowns put in. I fell asleep while they were working on my teeth.
I don’t know how many dentists you can think of that can make you feel that relaxed but it was one of the best experiences I’ve had.
Doctor Chung is an honest and hard working guy who wants to be sure that you know you are being taken care of and treated like family.
Everyone in this place is quality and they have an amazing work mentality!

Dr Chung definitely deserve 5 stars. I am a very picky person when it comes to cleanliness and his office & profession meet my standard. I was very please to see his dental assistant wash her hand even before wearing glove, that show me how professional he trained his staff. Because of my «germ phobia», I asked him to put the cover tape on the tool that he was going to use on me, he was happy to accommodate and not even feel offended at all. He was easy going, I can feel that he wants to make clients happy. I am very happy that I found Alldent Dental. Thanks Dr Chung, I will be your long term client for sure.
Note: I have left other dental offices due to their unprofessional, dirty and refuse to accommodate clients but I don’t feel at this office. That’s the reason why I come back to this place. I don’t think I can find any better.

Dr. Chung was exactly the dentist we hoped to find but did not think we would be so lucky. The staff is professional, friendly and they truly care about their patients. There are no up selling tactics and he listens to what you need. He is gentle, thorough and honest. I would recommend Dr. Chung and his staff at Alldent Dental in Poway to anyone who is looking for an awesome dentist.

I’ll definitely recommend Alldent dental center, for they’re not only courteous and friendly, but Dr. Chung did an amazing job on my crown and cleaning. On top of that, price is unbeatable and it’s obvious that Dr. Chung is one of the rare find, an honest dentist, unlike some money sharks out there. All my family goes to him now and ‘we’re extremely happy with the service.

Dr. Chung is a lifesaver! He saved me over $ 1000, an unnecessary root canal procedure, and needless pain & suffering. My regular dentist in Los Angeles told me I needed a root canal on one of my upper premolars, but a friend from San Diego recommended that I go see Dr. Chung to get a second opinion. I’m so glad I did because he was able to remove the cavity right up to the nerve and filled it for a fraction of the price of what the other procedure would’ve cost me. We need more talented and honest dentists like him in this world!
Dr. Chung was able to see me right away and he was very informative when I asked him about the procedure and my concerns (I ask a lot of questions). I couldn’t even tell he was using a needle when he was numbing the area. He has a delicate touch and his skilled hands got the job done quickly without any pain or discomfort (I even dozed off a couple of times). I am extremely happy with the outcome.
When I bite down, my tooth feels just like it did before he ground away the rotted top layer of the tooth. He used a composite filling that exactly matched my tooth color. After the local anesthesia wore off, I had no pain whatsoever and was able to eat lunch right away. It’s been a few days now since the procedure and I’ve had no pain, sensitivity, or other discomfort at all. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. If you live in Poway or anywhere in San Diego county, I highly recommend Alldent Dental Center. Dr. Chung has been a Godsend to me and he is by far the best dentist I’ve ever known. Do yourself a favor and treat your teeth to the best dentist in town!

He’s the only dentist i’d let work on my teeth… He makes sure to match your tooth color to your filling. Most dentists are careless when it comes to those details. Not to mention he’s a very honest Dr… He’s not pushy and tries to sale treatment like most dentists. You get pulled as soon as you walk in, you won’t be sitting in the waiting room for hours! .He takes his time to go over different options, and answer your questions. I also love that his crowns are perfectly seated and color matched! Which is a huge deal! … You don’t want people to know you got something cemented or fake in your mouth! I most definitely recommend him to friends and family members!. he’s by far the best dentist I’ve ever known!!!:)

Dr. Chung and his staff are the best! I’ve been going to him for 3 years and have never had a bad experience. In fact, I have referred 3 other people. Dr. Chung is always considerate and never attempts to sell you something you don’t need. I actually moved a year ago, but still drive all the way to Poway for my dental work. I encourage anyone to try Alldent Dental Center once. Trust me, you will never look for another dentist.

I transferred to Dr. Chung after experiencing several dentists who seem to be only concerned with how many teeth they could replace or crown. It has been several years now and I have never look back. Dr. Chung is by far the best that I have ever known. Just read the other 5 star reviews, they say it all.

Hi! All I can say is wow! Dr. Chung is by far the absolute best dentist I’ve been to! Recently I went to a different dentist office and that other office came up with so many things that were wrong with my teeth and the charges they quoted were outrageous. After doing a google search for Saturday appointments Dr Chung popped up. After reading many Unilocal reviews I decided to him and his office a try.
From the moment you walk into the office until you leave the entire staff is friendly, kind, gentle, informative, and overall outstanding! every person I talked took the extra minute to explain what was going on. The dental hygienist explained to me the cleaning and maybe some things that I should do differently, the doctor explained the pros and cons to potential work I may need to have done, and the receptionist printed out all the charges and went through exactly what my insurance would and would not cover.
My dentist experience this morning totally blew me away! I didn’t realize that I could actually find a dentist that was honest, kind, doesn’t try to upsell you, and has Saturday appointments!
For anyway wondering if they should visit Dr Chung, DON’T WAIT because you seriously won’t regret it. like i learned this morning, and i’m sure you will as well, I won’t ever go to another dentist in San Diego.
I think i called Josaline, the receptionist, at least 25 times, prior to my visit, to get the right appointments and she never got frustrated with me.

All star good review for a reason. Dr. Chung is gentle and never pressure to sell (like Poway dental down the street).
He did a fine job on veneering my teeth and it was totally painless! I am allergic to certain anesthetics and he only gave me what I needed.
He is nice and humble enough to clean my teeth where everywhere else delicate a hygienist.

Dr. Chung is amazing. I went to three other dentists when I moved to San Diego before finding Dr. Chung, who came highly recommended by all of my co-​workers, and will never go to a different dentist as long as I live in San Diego. He is patient and takes his time and I never feel like I am just another patient, but a person that he cares about. I trust his advise and know that he isn’t just trying to get my money, like I felt with other dentists I had previously gone to.
I live in Point Loma and drive all the way to Poway to see him, so that should say something!

Still my go-​to dentist, and this time did not disappoint. The check-​up was gentle but thorough. My teeth are squeaky clean. Everyone is personable and pleasant. I love going here.
They emailed me and texted me to remind me of my appointment. So incredibly helpful!
Just a quick FYI: Unilocal directions keep telling me to take a right on carriage run rd. ignore it. just go straight on poway rd and enter the plaza that comes right after carriage run rd. the dental office is the gazebo-​looking building upon entering.

If Dr Tae Chung isn’t your dentist yet… you are definitely missing out.
I stumbled across Dr Chung almost 6 months ago as a referral from a coworker of mine. My wife and I had received some less-​than-​stellar treatment from OTHER dentists who had tried to up-​sell us on products and services that we didn’t need.
I feel that merely saying he is ‘great’ or ‘awesome’ wouldn’t do him the full service he deserves. He took care of my wife and I, remembered us on our return visits, and didn’t try to up-​sell us on procedures and products that we didn’t need.
He is a great, down-​to-​earth guy, and he and his staff are some of the most friendly I’ve ever encountered. His offices are small, but very clean and comfortable.
My wife and I would drive almost 30 minutes from where we lived to use him as a dentist. I would happily drive twice that distance if it meant keeping him as our main provider.
Go to him. You will not regret it.

I had a great first impression with my teeth cleaning at Alldent. Dr. Chung thoroughly cleaned each individual tooth and removed all those yucky stains from my braces. Additionally, Valerie understood my insurance policy and charged me the correct amount. My previous dentist used to charge me strange fees that weren’t stated in my insurance policy, so this was a huge plus for me. The office is also open on Saturdays, which is another HUGE plus since I don’t have to miss work to keep appointments.
I have another appointment to fill a cavity, and I’m not nervous for it at all. :o)
