Black Belt USA is a Martial Arts School that is specializes in Tae Kwon Do. It is led by the 7^th Degree Black Belt Master Dong Hee Kang. Classes focus on sparring, kicking techniques, forms, and physical conditioning all within a mutually respectful environment.

History

Established in 2004.

Black Belt USA is actually the 3^rd Tae Kwon Do studio that Master Kang has opened and owns. He opened his first studio in 1994 under the studio name, Ka Dong Tae Kwon Do Academy, in the Kyonggi-​Do province of South Korea. After a few years and with over 200 students, Master Kang would open his second academy, Korea Tae Kwon Do Academy, in 2002. During his earlier years, he toured the States’ largest cities for a month as part of the Blue Dragon Tae Kwon Do Demo Team. He always envisioned himself in America teaching Tae Kwon Do and in 2004 he was able to make his visions into a reality.

He and Julia Kang, his wife, made the move to San Diego in 2004 to open up a third Tae Kwon Do Studio, Black Belt USA. And since 2004, Black Belt USA has been a thriving Tae Kwon Do studio, winning many awards and accolades from Tournament Wins and awards for Best Instructor and School.

Master Dong Hee Kang.

Business Owner

Master Dong Hee Kang is a 7^th Degree Black Belt recognized by the World Tae Kwon Do Federation, the most reputable Tae Kwon Do organization in the world. Master Kang has dedicated his life to the teachings of Tae Kwon Do and has a passion teaching Tae Kwon Do to anyone who is willing to learn. During his 35 years Tae Kwon Do, Master Kang has won many Sparring competitions, been a member of the Blue Dragon Demo Team, and received many awards as a Master. Master Kang attended Yong In University, a well-​respected university known for its elite Tae Kwon Do program. He graduated Yong In University with the highest honors.
