I had an emergency on my hands and need to get my car serviced ASAP. I have a porsche and knew that I needed to have quality service. I visited another shop initially which gave me a pretty high estimate. I was advised to shop around, which brought me here. I was very pleased with the amazing service. I was given a quote that was a lot less, and actually got more for my money. They took my car right away, updated me with phone calls throughout the day and had it fixed by the afternoon. Thank You very much for the great service!!!

I was referred to Poway Mobil by a previous mechanic. I was told by Eli that it was my sparks plugs. It was not. He said that he was going to do a diagnostic on my cylinders 7,8. I had to ask for the results and he only produced a psi from #7. After $ 300.00 he said I need a new engine could not help me. When I had my truck towed to Perry Ford in Poway they said that they would read the codes. Well, Eli cleared the codes on my F150 so now they have nothing to go on. I was told by Perry Ford that you never clear codes untill the problem is fixed. I have gotten three other estimates on my truck and each mechanic has asked about codes when I tell them that Eli cleared the codes they said «thats not right, that should never be done unless the problem is fixed. When Eli was confronted he said that clearing the codes is normal practice. Never apologized. His bad decision is costing me additonal money. I will not be recommending Poway Mobil or Eli.

I have nothing buy great things to say about this place. I was having a power distribution issue with my Ford F150 so I took it into the Dealer thinking it was a transmission problem and it would be covered by the warranty. The dealer came back and said the problem was caused by a faulty spark plug and it would cost over $ 1,000 to replace them.
I did my research and it turns out that the spark plugs in my truck were a 2 piece design that were prone to break in the engine when trying to remove them. Apparently this is a recurring issue with a lot of Ford F150 owners with truck models 2006 & later (Thanks Ford…). I called several shops in the area that were completely unaware of the problem and couldn’t provide an accurate estimate.
When I called Poway Mobil, Eli was very knowledgeable on the issue and was able to quote me with a very reasonable price for replacement that was less than ½ what the dealer quoted. He was very personable throughout the whole process and explained exactly what he would need to do and how long I should expect it to take.
The shop was able to remove all the spark plugs without any breaking (I’d never heard of anyone being able to do that in all the on-​line Ford forums) and the costs were exactly what they had originally quoted me. My truck runs great now and I’ll definitely be going back here for any future maintenance.

I have several company cars that I coordinate service for. My last mechanic of several years is no longer in business so I went to Poway Mobil. I have found their service and cost to be excellent. I have had three different cars serviced with them now and I will continue to go to them and recommend them.

When my car needs repair I bring it to Poway Mobil. It’s close to work and Elis and his crew take great care of me and my car. Nice work –great customer service…

I am horribly finicky about people touching my cars but I trusted Unilocal reviewers on this one and everyone is right. Eli is a true Customer Service oriented individual who tells you why, how much, when, and thank you. I now have my auto technician in San Diego, thank goodness.
The best part is they are open on Saturdays and there is a cashier on site so you can drop off or pick up your car almost anytime.

I used to hate bringing my car in for any kind of service… until I met Eli. He is super nice and I can finally say that I trust a mechanic.

I recently ran into car problems and my car had to be towed to a repair shop. The AAA driver recommended this shop so I figured I would give it a try. Eli, the Service Manager, was awesome. He got my paperwork done and had Enterprise to pick me up within 15 minutes and got me on my way to work. I heard back from him a few hours later that my car was ready. When I went after work my car was ready and I was out in less than 10 minutes. He was very honest and straightforward, which can be quite difficult to find! I would definitely recommend that you go here.
