This is the best Greek food I’ve had in Poway PERIOD. That alone is enough to have me come back. Pair it with their PHENOMENAL customer service, and now you have a customer for life. I tell all my friends about this restaurant, and any time I’m the area, I make it a point to stop by. Larry, you have done an amazing job here, keep up the GREAT work!

The Greek chicken is wonderful. Taste like true seasoned chicken kabobs that you would expect. So yummy. Great chicken platter and salads!

I love Greek food! This is a causal place, which is from time to time frequented by the local high school students who also seem to love Greek food and running off with Larry’s silverware! According to the sign visible from the street this place has the words«Larry’s Greek Food» in the name as opposed to the Santorini Island Grill. In any case, this is THE place for good and reasonably priced Greek food. I had the Gyro plate and my guest had a kabob, both were wonderful! The lemon cake was some of the best lemon cakes I have ever had, the baklava was good, but not as good as the lemon cake which was just the right combination of sweet and tart and creamy. We will be back! Love this place!

Delicious! Very nice owner. Great service. Their gyros meat is so tasty and I think very reasonably priced. I hear they have an amazing burger but will never try it because their greek food is top notch.

I love Larry! I love his staff and I love Santorini Island Grill! Whenever I am in the mood for Greek food, I drive to his restaurant. Non-pretentious and delicious dining and the price is right. In top of that he also offers some Mexican food and burgers and fries. My fave is the vegetarian platter. Did I mention the fast service and cleanliness? Go Larry, you deserve your success, oh, and thanks for ringing the bell for me. :)

Best Gyro salad anywhere. The minute I know my work will bring me to the area, I start planning my lunch here! And the guy is always super nice, which is a bonus in this day and age;)

5STARSALLTHEWAY! Seriously the best Greek food in town! Better and more affordable than Luna Grill and Daphne’s. Average Santorini Plate: $ 8-$ 10…Average Luna Grill Plate: $ 13-$ 15…we have a clear winner! Every time I go to Santorini’s, the service is incredibly fast! Like, ridiculously fast… I don’t know how they do it. The owner always has the best attitude and always offers a free drink. Who doesn’t like free things? If you are ever in town or in the area, make Santorini’s your #1 stop! Love love love!!!

Really yummy gyros! We don’t eat out often and this was a delicious splurge. We got a side of gyro lamb meat and it was overcooked, but didn’t take away from how much I loved the gyros.

The staff there is fantastic. The owner is one of the friendliest people youll ever meet and he really shows his passion in what he does. The food is priced incredibly well and always tastes fresh and great. Go here! The people deserve a lot more business and attention than they’re given.

Honestly one of the best Greek places I’ve ever been. The gyro is spot on and the sauce is just mouth watering. I’ve never had food like this before. Absolutely worth the money. The owner is friendly and personable and the entire experience felt very warm, welcoming and delicious.

Larry’s Santorini is my favorite local restaurant. You can’t go wrong with a classic gyro plate, pita sandwich or salad. They’ve got burgers or kids meals for picky young ones and baklava for dessert. Their sponsorship of local sports teams tops off the reasons that I love this restaurant.

As with all menus there is a secret menu. As for the«Dave Salad» its a salad with a mix of chicken and gyro meat. You wont be disappointed. This place is quality greek food and it is super consistent. Larry is a super nice guy and he is always smiling. If you want a local grub spot you have to check this place out.

Got lost today and randomly found this place. Best wrong turn EVER! Ordered the Gyro and chicken skewer plate with salad, rice and pita bread for lunch and a Greek burrito for watch later tonight… The chicken was tender and the flavor was delicious, just a smidgen lemony. The Gyro meat was perfectly flavored and tender. No hard spots in the rice like it had been made a week ago and the salad dressing was awesome! The owner was super nice and the price was great too. Definitely going to be back.

Don’t be fooled by its hole in the wall appearance. This place rocks! Good food and friendly service. Will definitely be back. Plus they open at 9 which is great for me since that’s my lunch break and it’s hard to find good lunch food that early.

Larry is one of the friendliest funniest guys I’ve met. when you eat here you really feel like you’re being welcomed into someone’s home. The Greek chicken salad is my personal favorite but my boyfriend loves the gyros or the gyro salad. This is one of mine and my boyfriend’s favorite spots in poway. Forget the corporate schill up the street(Daphne’s). Here you get fresh food and great hospitality.

My coworker and I stepped into this place on a whim. It doesn’t look like much from outside, but once you step in, you feel welcomed. The menu is easy to read, with photos of most of the items posted for hassle-free ordering. The food here is fresh, tasty, and very reasonably priced. In addition, the owner(Larry) provides exceptional customer service, and is charismatic and interesting. Even the cook is quite friendly and engaging.(When even the back-of-the-house staff is happy, that tells you something…). We had one each of their daily specials, and also tried the spicy feta and hummus combo. Every item is made to order, and comes out fairly quickly. We asked about large orders and catering — and, yep, they do those too. Sweet. Based on price, service, and quality of ingredients, I have to say that this simple yet charming Greek place is a local gem. I’ll be back.

We were feeling like some Greek food and coming in from Ramona. How many times have we passed by this place hidden next to the liquor store?! The owner was friendly and took our orders promptly. We say down and got our food in about 8 minutes. I had the quarter chicken and gyros. Amazing chicken, the gyro was thin and just the right amount of crispy. The side salad was good but turned epic with the dressing. The humus was wonderful and the whole meal just what we wanted. My plate was $ 11 I think and worth every penny. Next time I want Greek and I’m around Poway, this is the place I’ll go.
