Not a bad, but not the best starbucks I’ve been to either. The service was alright. I don’t have many good things to say about this place except for that I prefer the Starbucks in Mira Mesa over this one. Parking was easy to find and they had the frap I wanted… only thing was that my frap tasted a bit funky, not sure why.

This location is a true gem. I frequently visit this location due to the ample space and the availability of the Reserve coffee. There are plenty of chairs both inside and outside, the store is always clean, and the clientele tends to be on the classier side. I’ve noticed they consistently have a well-stocked pastry case, even into the evenings. This location also offers the Starbucks Evenings menu(which I have yet to try) but it looks amazing. I’ve ordered via the drive-thru, and they are fairly prompt in getting cars through. They are always friendly and my order is always correct. On some occasions, my drink is ready when I pull up to the window. If you’re pressed for time, definitely consider using the mobile ordering at least 10 minutes prior to your arrival. The mornings tend to be very busy between the drive-thru and inside the store, and the mobile ordering tends to reduce the wait time drastically.

I’ve been to this Starbucks 3 times now and each time they’ve been out of lemonade. The last time I went there they were out of all 3 drinks I wanted and this time they were out of the sandwich and drink I wanted. Very annoying to wait in the long long LONG line and not be satisfied, whatsoever. The workers are usually apologetic but the establishment as a whole is always unprepared. I know I won’t be returning anytime soon.

At the corner of Pomerado & Scripps Poway Pkwy. This SB recently took over Carl’s Jr in 2015. I had no complaints and the drive-thru line went really fast. I tried the new Smoked Butterscotch Frap and it was pretty good.

The petite brunette girl in the drive-thru was the sweetest! she had me driving away smiling ear to ear. It’s not often that someone working can have such a positive impact when you’re literally having them take care of you for just a few minutes. Which it was just that since they were so quick with my order!

Pretty well managed and maintained. Most baristas recognize me and know my order. Not sure if I drink too much coffee or am very memorable… or…something else. Everyone is polite and happy while I visit. It is possible it is all a façade, but I can’t know without this cool battery powered 12 hour surveillance camera. I will know soon.

Feeling tired on my way to work so I was a happy clam indeed when I saw the bright, beckoning lights of Starbucks. FAILSTARBUCKS! All the lights in and out of the building are turned on to make you think they are open, but nope. They don’t open until 6am in spite of having every light in the immediate area blazing brightly. Either don’t turn your lights on an hour prior to opening, or post your hours in more than one place so people don’t waste their time waiting for a cup of coffee they will never get and still have time to go to a different location.

Note to the manager: if you have computer issues, close the drive thru lane! Waiting(getting stuck) in drive thru lane for 20+ min is not acceptable!

This Starbucks has a good amount of tables & is open later than most(10pm) if you’re looking for a place to study. The staff is friendly & the store is always clean. They’re also now serving beer, wine, & small plates to much on. The one downside is that they frequently run out of the cold brew coffee which is the main reason I prefer Starbucks over other coffee chains.

Great service. The baristas were very friendly and quick. Someone else took my drink and they made me a new one right away. My drink tasted great too.

I wish they had more seating areas and more efficient system for tackling the morning crowd. Whether I drive-thru or walk in, there is always a wait. come here bc there are no more local coffee shops. It is sad. I recently discovered two other coffee places that I prefer over Starbucks, if Im willing to drive a bit further. +1 star for: simply existing(gotta have my coffee) +1 star for: having drive thru service +1 star for: nice indoor seating area –1 star for: inconsistent customer service(ranging from great to meh) –1 star for: always a wait, no matter what date or time I come.

I only always use the drive thru here! One of their female staffers is incredibly sweet and always gets my orders right! Having an upbeat voice in the morning is great! Really love this local Starbucks!

I really like this Starbucks. They always have enough staff to manage the heavy traffic, drive-up window is on point and I hear hey have applied for a liquor license?! Not sure how that is going to work, but hey! I’m all for progress. It’s spacious and clean. Definitely somewhere to make your favorite«hermit haunt.»

Ordered a Salted Caramel Macchiato(since its fall and salted caramel is back). I had to have it remade and its still too salty. Apparently this location doesn’t know the salt/caramel ratio because I feel like i just drank caramel flavored salt. I go to Starbucks every week(usually Ramona location) and they get the mix correct. Im bummed I spent $ 5 on a drink that tastes like salt even after a re-make.

This Starbucks is by far the best I have gone to. It shows that these lovely folks like their job. No snarky attitudes, they say hello to everyone and not just the regulars. My friend lives in the area and suggested coffee here– alas no third wave coffee shops in the area. Starbucks coffee is the same at all of their stores. How it’s executed is another story. When in Rome… I had the PSL. It was done at the right temperature, not tepid and not sweet. It was surprisingly good and now made with real pumpkin. The store is clean, efficient and have a great staff. Now, if only I can switch stores with the one closer to work. Lock, stock, and barrel. They are getting their beer and wine license soon.

Love that they have a Starbucks Reserve store nearby now. There’s only a handful of these! The store is huge and very spacious inside. Other locations always seemed cramped between the line of people and all the furniture and displays. It also has a drive thru! The staff seems well trained for a new location. The coffee tasted as expected and the orders were made in a timely manner.

The clover reserve coffees are the best! Fun atmosphere, great customer service and a seriously large seating area! Great to hang out and play games or work on the compy.

Messed up my drink and refused to remake it. Never had this issue. Avoid this location.
