Treasures and Beyond

On the pricier side for the same type of used stuff found in the 2,637 other thrift stores in the same shopping center. And, do not even «think» about bargaining. There’s a sign that will put you in your place regarding that.

Treasures and Beyond could not pick a better name for the store. It can be overwhelming the amount of things they have on sale, but if you know what do you want, then they have sections perfectly organized. Like «country style», «Parisian bistro», «old Americana», «antique dolls», those the categories I made, but really they follow a theme in many areas, especially in what concerns vintage clothing.
I have greatly surprised to find several incredible dresses with the label from the 1040s, totally new. There was an amazing Hawaiian vintage dress from the 60s for just $ 24. Did not get it because it was too big, but I think their vintage clothes are very cheap priced! Nothing smells odd in the clothing, as in other thrift of antique stores (not the same if you go to the books area). I was really impressed on how well displayed the antique clothing section is.
If you are into antique dolls, those are expensive (and ugly to my taste) but they have several interesting ones. I would suggest Treasures and Beyond to go and find outfits from other times you cannot get in the fancy vintage stores. And some of them, brand new, never wore and with the label intact.

Nice selection but expensive. This place is fun to browse but like many thrifts these days, they think used merchandise priced like new works. Guess it does for those unwilling to do research & save some money.

Do not frequent this business! It’s owned by one of the rudest people I’ve met… I packed my two kids in the minivan and drove ½ hour to Treasures and Beyond, planning to furnish my new house with some of the items in this store. It was a rough morning, a trip to the emergency room because my son fell off his high chair, burnt pancakes, you know. I finally made it to the store, packed my baby into the stroller and had my 3 year old in hand, was about to open the door to the store, and was rudely accosted by the owner, who snidely told me «no strollers allowed.» Did she seriously expect me to shop while managing a feisty 3 year old and a 20+ pound baby? When I asked her this she told me that people with strollers shoplifted. Seriously??? So I took my $ 500+ dollars of business elsewhere. Thanks for ruining my day, lady. People like this should not be business owners.
