This place is never open. If lucky, once a week for like 2 hours. It has been like this for about a year now. If you’re looking forward to coming to this place I have bad news for you

Very cute place! I’ve only tried the coffee, but it was cheap and delicious. Barista told us they were working on getting a liquor license and having a movie night — can’t wait!

Umm, went this morning for an nice outside seated brunch and they were closed. It was almost 11. Their website says they open at 7 and Unilocal says 10 am… That was disappointing and I ended up getting an egg white veggie omelette from a random deli which I did NOT want to do.

It is currently brand new, and they’re still working on a lot in both the interior and the menu. So far it’s ice cream, fruit smoothies, pastries, coffee, and espresso drinks, but I am told the panini press comes next week! But the service is beyond friendly, the prices are good, and the backyard is adorable. I have faith this place will grow into a nice spot with a little time.

I had such high hopes for this café, as Prospect-Lefferts Garden(at least this part of it) is bereft of cafes. It recently opened, so I’m a bit reluctant to give this three stars(I would like to give more), but it’s a solid 3 star place. Along with the usual café fare(coffee, pastries, and free wifi), they also sell ice cream and hope to expand to offer light meals, such as salads. The ice cream is good quality ice cream with generous serving size and low prices. A small scoop(which was still quite a nice serving) was only $ 2.50. This is a nice place to walk to and get a scoop of ice cream on a hot day. Where I find this café a little disappointing is in the décor. While the owner is very nice and hard working, you can tell that the remodeling was done on a very tight budget. The café has new paint and some new tables and chairs. It’s rather stark in appearance. It doesn’t feel cozy and not like some place I would want to hang out for a few hours.

NEWLY Renovated Les Cayes, is now a new and upcoming Café/Bakery. With Iced-Coffee, Smoothies, Chips, desserts and ICE-CREAM, its my new favorite place to go on a Sunday after church. It’s just what Nostrand Avenue needs, a CAFE… The service is excellent and the owner takes care of it all in a pleasant manner. Will be coming back for more!!!
