Read the reviews, called Bob’s Lock & Key, and Kevin was at my house the next day. Changed out 3 locks in less than an hour, pricing was extremely reasonable, and Kevin had all 3 «P“s — professional, personable, and pleasant. And ah, the peace of mind that comes with those new locks… priceless!

As a pet sitter, having a dependable, and cost-​conscious locksmith is key… pun intended. Occasionally keys don’t turn in a lock or the client forgets to leave a key and the pets are inside waiting to be fed and walked.

Professional, timely and easy-​on-​your-​wallet service! I locked myself out of my car when I was shopping in Providence East Side. Fortunately, I had my phone in hand, was able to look up locksmith in the area, and picked Bob’s Lock & Key without reading any reviews. I was really lucky to have picked Bob’s. In just about short 15~20 minutes, Kevin arrived! 10 min shorter than his initial ETA! On the phone and in person, Kevin was very helpful. I needed a deadbolt, and researched reviews online. I looked up other locksmiths, and noticed that Bob’s Lock & Key had the best reviews. When I called I spoke to a profession, respectful, & knowledgable person. Kevin was able to come out the same day I called. Placed the deadbolt, was clean and quick. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of, charged a fair fee. Would use again, and would highly recommend Bob’s Lock & Key.

I’ve never used a locksmith before, but desperately needed one when I broke my key off in my door last night. Thankfully, this was the first company I called, because the service was impeccable and Kevin was one of the nicest and most reasonable business owners I’ve ever interacted with. Searched google for a near by locksmith. I needed my locks changed and called up bobs lock and key. They were able to come by the same day and quickly changed 3 of my locks, made me multiple keys, and even helped fix a door that wasn’t staying closed. Super friendly service, and prices were very reasonable as well.

Just closed on a new place and needed to have the locks changed. The house had a mess of old locks and keys that did not work very well or at all. I called Bob’s lock and key and was happy to talk to Kevin who was very knowledgeable and courteous so I scheduled an appointment. He arrived on time and changed out all the locks that needed to be and even saved some of the old locks and made everything work on one key, using the old locks saved me some money which is always a good thing. If you are in the Providence area and need a locksmith I highly recommend them.

I can’t say enough great things about Bob’s. I found myself locked out of my house this morning — no house keys, no car keys. I initially called another locksmith with a 20 minute guarantee. Well… After 2 hours, still no locksmith, changing prices and a very rude customer service person — I smartened up and called Bob’s. He was on his way out of town but told me he would turn around to come get me into my house. He was there within the 20 minutes he had estimated and had me into my house within a minute. He was professional (professional vehicle vs. personal vehicle), knowledgeable and extremely pleasant. If you live in the Providence area and want reliable service, call Bob’s.
