Goodwill Industries of Rhode Island

This was kind of a hilarious visit but we definitely scored!
I was expecting a normal sized Goodwill. You know how it usually is, there is usually like a warehouse-​y feel: one giant room filled with too many things. This was not that.
We entered through the doors and walked until we were inside a rather small room filled with electronics and electronic components.
We made this trip primarily to find some used records but that was an obvious bust. They had about ten records. Ten.
So, we browsed around and noticed how cheap everything was. They had working computers all over and giant speakers and old abandoned sound-​systems and used gaming consoles and everything seemed like a deal to me.
In the end we took home a wireless keyboard and mouse for $ 8, and it wasn’t a cheapo one so we definitely saved. We also got a pair of speakers that improved our sound incredibly.
I can see coming back here if I’m in the market for a better record player or a working computer on the cheap.

I went to drop off my clothing donation after cleaning out my closets.
The location is a bit out of the way, but the customer service ad friendly staff make up for that!
Kevin handled my donation in a speedy manner and was the most friendly person I have ever met. I really wish customer service was like that everywhere!
I will be brining my donations here from now on! Oh and if you didn’t know, Goodwill excepts old electronics donations also. Make sure to get a receipt so you can claim it on your taxes.
