Meet the Business Owner

Jim V.

Business Owner

Besides 16 years as founder and CEO of Logicomm, I previously spent a decade working in large corporate IT organizations, supporting tens of thousands of users. With the growth of broadband connectivity, I soon realized that the type of support and service that was enjoyed by larger corporations could be provided to smaller businesses, hence the Fortune 500 Experience.

Prior to my career in corporate IT, I spent 23 years in the Naval Reserves, working on ARPA, the forerunner of the internet, and in cryptology services with the National Security Agency — it gave me an excellent base to focus on communications and security, which are the core services offered by Logicomm today.

As a member of the Education Committee on the Board of Directors of the Managed Services Provider Alliance, an industry group that establishes standards, ethics and governance proceedures (similar to the AMA for doctors), I enjoy working with peers and giving back to the IT community overall.
