Description

Specialties

Getout Games is a refreshingly new entertainment concept commonly referred to as «live escape rooms» and is the first of its kind in Utah County. These real life adventure games are designed for small groups. Each team is given 60 minutes to work together, solve puzzles, crack codes and get out!

History

Established in 2015.

Live escape rooms began as a computer game, where gamers would try to find clues and solve puzzles to escape out of a given room/scenario. A couple of years ago enthusiasts in Europe and Asia began building real-life escape games. These games have quickly become a refreshing and new form of entertainment; you can find them popping up in many of the larger markets throughout the U.S. and the world. We are happy to introduce the concept to Provo and Utah County. We issue the challenge to all locals and travelers passing through: do you have what it takes to get out?

Meet the Business Owner

Dallin H.

Business Owner

Dallin, along with business partners Robert, and Gary, were first introduced to «live escape adventure games» while on a company vacation in Nashville. While looking for things to do in Nashville, Trip Advisor listed an escape game as the number one thing to do. They were intrigued, but skeptical. The reviews were convincing enough to give it a try. After having a good experience at the Nashville escape room, the idea to better the Provo community by bringing this fun, new entertainment concept to Provo was born. Over the course of the months following the trip, research was conducted and ideas were discussed on how to make Getout Games the best value for escape rooms in the nation. So far it appears they have succeeded. Several news agencies have written articles, hundreds of 5 star reviews on many websites have been submitted, and even the local Provo mayor has posted a video on his blog.
