History

Established in 1919.

Boush Moving & Storage was started in 1919 by Robert Boush with a horse and wagon. He hauled locally grown berries and produce from the farms to the canneries. Four generations later, Boush Moving is now a full service moving and storage company that can move you across town or across the country.

Just moved into our house in Enumclaw. These guys were on time and super fast moving everything out, but took care also. The entire move took way less time than we expected, so we saved more money with these guys than with other movers. Thanks guys for all your help! We would definitely recommend Boush Movers for their great service and professionalism!

Reliable, under budget/​what was quoted and flexible with dates. We moved with them twice, stored our belongings with them for a 2 weeks, all in a 7 month period, great employees — very respectful, courteous and quick. No damage — we were worried about our glass china cabinet — not a scratch. Highly recommend.

Patrick and his crew did a tremendous job for us. After having to reschedule our move date twice without Boush giving us any hassle at all we ended up moving on Halloween and Boush made arrangements to have three (3) trucks and six (6) guys so everyone would have an opportunity to spend the evening with their families and children. They also went above and beyond to get our washer and dryer into the laundry room. They had to take both items up a long flight of stairs through the garage and remove a door. Even after all that they barely fit but Patrick was determined to make it happen and he did! Wonderful job Boush thank you very much!

PCS moves are usually horrific, however the guys from Boush did a pretty amazing job. They were pleasant, clean and very friendly. They arrived promptly and worked non-​stop until the job was done. They did miss a few things that we wanted packed, however we are at fault because my husband and I weren’t on the same page about what was getting packed and what would stay behind. I was very impressed that they were considerate enough to delay packing our daughter’s bedroom and stuffed animals until the second day so that she could have one more day in her own room. I would highly recommend this company and I truly thank them for removing some of the stress that comes with moving across the country.

I expected more of a company that had been in business for so long. I went to Sumner High with Carl. The crew was respectful, efficient and very nice. Only after I started unpacking did my opinion about them begin to change. Wooden curio shelves were just dropped in the boxes along with the items on them instead of being wrapped together. They lost the power cord to my TV, the power cord to my Bose Soundock which hopefully I can replace. They broke a candle holder in half which is irreplaceable and can’t be assigned a value. I was just going through the pictures to be hung on the wall and a painting of Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock reminiscent of Elton Bennet’s silk screens of the WA coast by a notable artist is gone. It too, is irreplaceable but this time it has extremely sentimental value which can’t be replaced. It’s a memory of the many trips to Cannon Beach with my parents who have recently passed. Sloppy, sloppy work. I didn’t know I had to pre-​pack for them in order to not lose or have things broken. Sad for me, so sad. Luckily for me my Dad’s flag from serving in the Navy during the War went with me. I would NEVER have let that go. I have no faith in Boush and won’t use them again.

These men would have gotten at least a «10» star rating. Crew: Joe Alessandra, Cameron Rormanczyk, Derek Thompson, & Austin Kingsolver.
They arrived with «Two» trucks to move our things from a house to an apt. This was in addition to moving our large planted pots to a neighbors house and dropped off a washer and dryer set to another neighbor. Then as if this was not enough, they needed to drop off boxes and furniture to «Three» separate storage units (all were at the same location, but in different areas and floors)
They arrived on time, great attitude and ready to work. They took great care in handling our personal property and went above and beyond and NEVER once complained about what a challenge our move was. Luckily everything was here in Bonney Lake.
I HIGHLY recommend, Boush Moving and Storage for any Moving or storage needs.
Also, Dan Kent our Sales person was excellent. He came out to see what needed to be moved and offered many ideas and followed up with us via e mail with prices and options. He also was mindful of our budget and what we needed to accomplish.
We will definitely have Boush do our next move to Trilogy in Tehaleh (when the house will be completed in 6 months) and will request the same crew. Yes, nothing was broken. Susan A.

I just moved from a 850 sq ft condo, on the third floor to a two story home. My movers, Jack and Tyler, did a great job! They were friendly, professional, and quick. Everything arrived safely and in one piece, except for the mirror that I broke :(

I worked with Dan, one of the sales reps, and found him to be friendly, detail-​oriented, and easy to work with. He was willing to work with my tenant to get access to my belongings, and then with my property management company to get keys later. He talked to me about details and the estimate – and when I messed up with the keys, they stayed calm and professional (even though I was kicking myself for the error). Also, I got bids from other places and was shocked that Bousch charged about half for the packing materials and the move itself. I called Dan to make sure he had seen everything that needed to be moved because the bid was so reasonable.
My move was from Seattle to Eastern Washington, so they packed one day and drove and unloaded the next. Jake and Justin were the movers and were courteous and professional and had no problem moving things around for me. Frankly, I’ll never use any other moving company than Bousch. Why would I spend my time looking elsewhere when Bousch was half the cost and with all of the care and professionalism?

By far the best moving company I have ever used. They were on time and treated our things as if they were their own. They even made accommodations to hold our stuff while we continued to get different move in dates. If you are moving don’t look any further you will not regret it. The front office is rude, impersonal and did not accommodate our needs. When asked to reschedule our move (due to events that were out of our control) the person at the front desk threw a fit. We gave her plenty of lead time (the move wasn’t for a couple weeks) and even offered to pay more for the inconvenience.
Have dealt with many movers throughout the Puyallup area. We are not high maintenance and gave them plenty of chances to make things right.
Do not use Boush!!!

I have used Boush Moving twice now and I would highly recommend them. From the time they knocked on my door I was greeted with smiles and their first names. I have a $ 6,000.00 Piano that I wouldn’t trust anyone else to move. They brought in 4 guys for that part then dropped back down to 2 guys to save me money on the overall move. They handled my belongings with care and were fast and efficient, so I tipped them to show my appreciation. They really took the stress out of moving. Thanks Boush!

I have to assume that the negative reviews for Boush were bizarre accidents in the time/​space continuum, because I’ve had nothing but AMAZING experiences with these guys. They’ve moved me twice, and will be moving me again in a month.
The movers are prompt, courteous, and I have never in my life seen hourly movers haul such serious ass! Nothing has been broken or damaged, and I never saw that awful moment during most moves, when movers are slamming things around, or dropping boxes to the ground in a way that makes you cringe for your dishes.
I can’t say enough good things about these guys! If you can, request Justin on your crew, too.
PS: don’t be «that guy»… have some bottled water for these guys while they work. If they’re working around a meal time, offer to buy them lunch too. Just because they’re physical labor doesn’t mean it’s ok to be thoughtless or a jerk. And don’t forget to tip if well if they do a great job! When they haul ass to save you money on the total bill, you should thank them with a good tip!

Boush Moving & Storage is the best! They are fast, efficient & were respectful with our furniture & our home. We offered them ice water but they worked hard up to almost the end before they gulped it down. GREAT work Ethics! My husband & I have lived in the same house for 26 Years. We have raised our children in this home & moving was a bit emotional. Owner Carl Boush was completely understanding and after speaking and meeting him we were at complete ease. I recommend anyone who is on the fence in choosing a moving company to call Boush moving & storage. They will work hard for you & it will spare your back. Thank You so much Guys!

I had a very bad experience with Bousch, which is unfortunate as I know they have many positive reviews, and they were actually recommended by someone I work with. There was damage done to the hallway in my rental by one of the movers, and three months later I am still trying to recover the funds from them that the property management company deducted from my security deposit. Have called, spoken with owner… but still not resolved. They also forgot items that required the owner to actually drop off a bookcase at my house, which was very accomodating, but never should have happened in the first place.
In terms of timing, I had three movers and I do think that they worked as quickly as possible, and I also think they were very polite, friendly, and helpful. I just think that the problems I had and the inability to get the money issue resolved clouded what otherwise would have been an overall very positive experience. When you pay $ 1,500 for movers, you don’t expect to have these types of problems.
