Honestly for all the bad reviews… not sure why. The burger that I got was actually okay. The service was okay too. I’ve had worse service at other airport restaurants

The potato skins & chicken fingers were a win, great to split for two. We also ordered a mixed green salad and it was a large plate and good.

Awful! It’s unfortunate this is the only option in LGA terminal B. I ordered a plain chix sandwich and fries. Buddy ordered reg chix sandwich and fries. I did get a piece of chicken in bread which was a bonus. Fries were all burnt crusts and end pieces. Cold and barely anything on the plate. Buddy got a good selection of fries, however chicken was raw. Lots of eye rolling from staff when ordering initially and then later looking for napkins, so we just assumed sending back food was a no-go. Into the trash…

If you find yourself in the A gates, Metro Burger is the only sit down restaurant with a bar. Makes sense why it’s always packed to capacity. We got pretty lucky and arrived prior to the crowds. The hostess quickly appeared from the back of the restaurant and guided to us to our seats, she was super sweet and even apologized to us for not being present to greet us. The menu is pretty simple, they have select breakfast options available in the morning and throughout the day they have various appetizers, sandwiches and of course burgers. I went with a custom burger — only Im not all that exciting. Plain burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo and ketchup, but I got a bit adventurous and added corn and beans(sounds weird — try it the texture and slight sweetness was great!) Also, the burgers come with fries so I didn’t have to order the side. The fiancé was boring and just ordered tots. I was pretty impressed with our waiter, he took our order by memory and didn’t get a thing wrong! Food came out relatively quickly. Not really sure why everyone is trashing this place on Unilocal, their food was not bad at all. Fries and tots were warm and extra crispy when they came to our table. And aside from my burger being a bit dry, I really have no complaints. We sat right by the door so as I was eating I watched as the crowd by the door grow larger and larger. The hostess did a great job of directing traffic and slotting new customers into tables as soon as other patrons finished eating. I’d come back.

Lady in the front was beyond rude. I honestly think she truly believes she’s the most important person. Getting a table felt equivalent to getting in to the most exclusive club ever. Food was mediocre. Wine was way overpriced and service was slow as anything. We sat for 20 min before anyone came over to take our order.

Terrible. Everything about it was so bad. Don’t even bother coming here. I got through security at about 9:20, so nothing else is really open. The restaurant is just on the other side of security. First issue– I had to walk into the restaurant itself to find a waitress to seat me. There were two waitresses and a bartender working. The lady that sat me and served me was rude and standoffish throughout the service. I feel bad not tipping, but the bill was 23.24 and I gave her $ 25 in cash. So less than a 10% tip. Second, I get if you close at 10 and don’t want to dirty up your grill half an hour before close, but freaking POSTTHISSOMEWHERE outside the restaurant. I got a ‘we only are doing fried food’ and that was it until I ordered. Especially since your restaurant’s name advertises burgers. Third, the drinks. See picture for the size of the drink I ordered. Fourth, the food. It was terrible. I ordered nachos and a side of Wisconsin fried cheese curds. The nachos were advertised as with japelenos, poco de gallo, black beans, and corn. They were served on a standard size paper plate, fresh from the microwave. The poco de gallo was mostly red onion and the cheese had been put on as the last ingredient so you couldn’t tell how much pick was actually put on the nachos(it was a lot). The chips that weren’t the very first chips on top were completely crumbled. The cheese curds were just as bad– served on a paper plate that made it easy to see just how much grease they were covered in. They came out in 3 huge clumps. They were completely over fried. Half of them didn’t have any cheese in them any more. All in all, if you’re going to be in Terminal B past 9pm, bring food with you. Or else time your arrival to come through security before 9 and go to Au Bön Pain which is right next to Metro Burger Bar. Next time I fly through LGA, I know where I won’t be stopping for dinner.

I was really craving for a burger and some fries despite the bad reviews I wanted to stop here anyway. I had the Devil’s Den burger, not bad. but it’s $ 14. Not a large one either. The waitress didn’t seem to want to be there. Overall food is okay.

Walk on by travelers! Stopped in Thursday night before a flight and was overcharged for 4 well drinks. Asked the bartender for our receipt because the price I was charged didn’t make sense. She ran our card for the wrong receipt but promised we were given a «better deal» for what we got. Absolutely absurd. Return flight on Sunday and spoke to the manager, complete unprofessional kid. He all but called me a liar and accused me of trying to get one over on the establishment. Poorly ran business. Will never be returning.

This place is horrible. Took 15 minutes to get my drink. The AC is not working. Took 10 minutes just to get my order and my food. Took 30 minutes. So if coming for a quick lunch not your place. Also if this going to be a place for airport dining you need to have good seating.

Sorry guys… food sucks, service sucks, cocktails suck. I’ll elaborate. Food: Salmon Burger — tasteless, hardly any salmon, bland wasabi mayo, and bacon? .there’s supposed to be bacon in this? Oh and too much bread for a flavorless sandwich. Appetizer: Spinach & Artichoke Dip — BLAND. Tasted like a 2-day old wet towel that’s been sitting outside on a moldy gloomy day in jersey. OH and it came AFTER our entrée. Of course the mild-mannered waiter(not a bad guy) had forgotten, but sadly, pretends everything is «on its way.» Honesty is the best policy, friend. Cocktails: Old-Fashioned — I first ordered the Manhattan but apparently there was no sweet vermouth to make the drink. So I then ordered the«Smokey Old-Fashioned» on the menu, instead with bourbon. What did I ACTUALLY get? Pink ice water with what looked like«candied cherries» that have been chewed up by the barkeep then spat back in my glass before the liquid was poured. Cool. TAB: $ 90 — I would’ve been happier with one of those delightful little turkey sandwiches from 7⁄11 for $ 5. All in all, an interesting experience.

Just walk on by hungry travelers! We were STARVING as we entered the terminal and this mid-sized burger spot was the 1st thing in sight as we rounded the corner. It was a small terminal and since we didn’t have much time to explore, we walked in to get a quick bite to eat. I can’t say we had a quick bite to eat. I can’t even say it took too long to get a bite to eat. You see, we got NO bite. We were quickly greeted and seated at a table in the back. There were approximately 5 – 6 other empty tables. Our hostess/greeter left us with menus and that folks is where the story ends. We waited, and waited, and waited to have even a drink order taken(15 minutes to be exact) …no one ever arrived. We went across the terminal to Au Bön Pain and had nice people, many fresh options, and quick service.

Lady at front super rude. Walked in. She advised us there were no seats. We saw 3 ppl walk out. I asked if they had just freed up a table. They said yes. My girlfriend and I went to sit down. But as we are walking past her she says to her co worker«I just told them there was No seats» with such a bad attitude. You see. The thing is. She is so busy giving people attitude and talking down to them. She didn’t even realize ppl freed up a table. Anyways. We sat down. Ordered food. And paid. Food was mediocre(airport food) service was just in the negative star category. The manager /owner needs to adjust his staff asap before his rent is higher than the revenues. This type of staff is a recipe for failure.

Stopped in here for a quick drink and appetizer before a flight. My girlfriend and I both got food poisoning. Let’s just say the 4 hr flight to Denver was not fun. Also half of the beers listed on the draft menu were out, seemed odd.

Overpriced Poor service Note: tried only breakfast $ 11 for two eggs — asked for over easy got scrambled Over-salted food $ 5 for an OJ! Not fresh, and less than 8oz, with so much ice, I felt I was getting a shot over ice!

I travel a bit and have to say some airports have some great food. Unfortunately my burger doesn’t fall in that category. First the fries are a disappointment. Clearly frozen little potato nuggets — maybe I got the home fries from breakfast? Either way zero flavor and just not good. Burger was over cooked and the bun is cold. It’s so simple to grill a bun and it changes the burger for the better. My burger has avocado on it and it’s two huge chunks instead of slices so they just fall out and the avocado is on the brown side — not rotten but not appealing either. The little restaurant looks much better than the food tastes.

It’s 7:21 am right now and my flight doesn’t leave until 8:15. I’d like some food obviously. I walked in an this lady told me that they weren’t open yet until 7:30 and I asked if I could just sit down and wait and she just repeated that they weren’t open until 7:30. She’s redeemed herself though after I just waiting outside. Eventually she said I could take a seat. Needless to say the«service» is nothing to be desired but I guess these days my standards are so low for service. No on smiles so I guess the fact that she even looked at me was worth something. I’m sure the food will be satisfactory at best. Given the other reviews, MBB needs to do better with training their service staff.

Ok I have to vent! The flight is delayed… The amex centurion lounge has closed at 8:00 I’m at LGA. What can I do? There’s only one restaurant past security and a line is out the door. They have a nice lady with a clipboard informing me that she’s sorry but there are no seats. Really ! I see plenty. I have no problems sharing a table with a fellow traveler. It’s LGA people and not Le Cirque !!! She tells me“sorry can’t do that“ About ten feet away is a table for three with a single woman hogging all of it sipping a wine. I start to argue. I’m normally pretty easy going but I just can’t believe it. Is that tart not embarrassed. The couple behind me joins into the conversation!!! We are in New York after all. People get along here, no? What’s up with this situation? I demand to speak to the manager. Is real estate not at a premium? The restaurant is tiny… How can they afford to be in business letting snotty customers sitting on tables by themselves refusing to share. Someone tell them to go back to wherever they came from. You are in New York now and here we share and put our bags on our lap or the floor or wherever if another tired traveler needs a seat and a stiff drink!!! Luckily for the hostess a seat at the bar opens up and she scoots me away But really ! Wtff Ps pictures I took were a while after I was seated when it cleared out a bit and do not depict people I was referring to.

So had about 45 minutes to kill and figured to get some protein in my body before a long flight. You would think a burger would take 10, maybe 15 minutes in a place that is not that busy. Wrong. If you are in a rush or your flight leaves sooner than 30 minutes, keep looking… this place is not for you. That’s right… it took 40 minutes to get two normal burgers. Ridiculous. On the brighter side, if you have the time the burger wasn’t all that bad. Actually must better than the typical fast food counterparts. Burgers were cooked well, ingrediants were fresh, burger buns were not stale. This place may have gotten a 4 star if it wasn’t for the horrid wait time. Tip to owner: Train your chefs to multitask, we watched the cooks and they had 90 percent more surface area to work with on grill. People do not like waiting 40 minutes for two burgers.

Pretty sure they know they don’t have to compete with anything else– which is disappointing. The menu lists three extra milkshake flavors that our waitress informed us do not exist. They also only carry Pepsi products and don’t have unsweetened iced tea.
