Waxing for many years I was looking for an alternative as Brazilian waxing is painful for me and not to mention getting expensive. I googled this place and saw all of the wonderful reviews so I decided to give it a try.
Walking in this place is clean! Very inviting and warm. You feel a sense of comfort. My first laser treatment was very short and did not hurt nearly as much as I thought it would. I still have 6 more treatments but I am convinced I will have good results. My technician was extremely knowledgeable, funny, calming and made sure she explained everything that was happening as well as what she was using.

I’m going to keep it short and simple. I absolutely fell in love with this place. The ambiance is wonderful and most importantly it’s clean. One thing I look for is very good customer service and when I go to a place I expect nothing less. I received such good service from Alyssa. She took her time and we had a wonderful lengthy conversation. I was very happy with my visit and I recommend it to whoever is wanting to visit! Call them!

My girlfriend recommended I come here to have my laser hair removal experience. She spoke very highly about her experience and how comfortable she felt. I asked for Alyssa to do the laser. Alyssa put all my worries to rest. She was so informative and walked me through everything. With every zap she gave, she massaged and talked to help me not focus on the next zap. Ultimately, as I laid there in my birthday suit Alyssa made me so comfortable, I almost forgot I was there in my glory. Needless to say, I’m looking forward to my 4th session as I get ready for this summer. I now take my son to Alyssa as well. Alyssa expressed that she likes to work with teens and helping them with whatever dermatological issues they may be experiencing. My son has had 2 sessions and is on to becoming that once confident boy that was hidden behind the acne. Thank you Alyssa for all you have done for my son and I.

This was my first laser ever in my life. I’m currently in my forth session and I am more than satisfied ! I had chin hair and it was so thick and ingrown hair cause my skin to breakout badly. Now I can say that my skin has repaired so much. Please ask for Alyssa she is awesome & made me feel comfortable ! As an African American women I was so skeptical about Laser because of all the myths about laser but she educated me and encouraged me to do my own research as well ! I will also be coming back again for other sessions of my body area. I definitely recommend her !

Went here on a group on and felt comfortable enough to continue treatment at this establishment. I did the dermapen which was recommended and was told to wait four weeks for optimal results along with purchasing the products at the spa which i was told will help the process along more smoothly. Two weeks after the process I saw no results instead I broke out rather badly. I choke it up to the products I purchased as when I stopped using them my acne flair down. I called three and a half weeks later to voice my concerns and discuss that the treatment that was chosen was not a good choice. I was told she will call me back right after a session she claims she was in. Its now been two weeks and not one phone call back. Will not recommend as I would not like to deal with a business who do not deal with their clients in a professional manner or pretend they don’t exist.

I purchased the Groupon for six laser hair removal sessions for my full arms. When I called and spoke with Aliza to book my first appointment, she was very thorough about the different types of lasers offered and asked me questions about my skin type, hair type, etc. I have a light olive complexion and coarse, dark hair from years of shaving. I’m in my early twenties and have always struggled with having to shave my arms every single morning. After just ONE session, I was able to see completely hair free areas on my arms and now after two sessions, I can go days and still have smooth arms. I then decided to get my underarms done. I’ve only had one session so far two weeks ago, and haven’t had to shave since. Aliza is the absolute sweetest, and is a pro at what she does. I’m recommending everyone I know!

I had an appt 2 wks ago with Aliza for first time bikini laser, who was extremely informative. I was very nervous, not knowing what to expect. Aliza reassured me that it was a quick process and it is probably not as bad as I think it would be. Well it was very quick approx 10 mins or less and def wasn’t as painful as I thought. I will continue with my treatments and have an appt scheduled in 6 wks. Also, reasonable price. Thank you Aliza!

I came in with a Groupon and from the moment I made my appointment i knew I would like it. Highly professional and very nice. I went in for upper lip and it was fast and painless. I thought having olive skin would make it hurt but it was not bad at all.

This place is amazing! I love that it’s so close by and never crowded therefore you never have to wait. Aliza is absolutely professional, very accommodating, and comforting. So far my laser hair removal treatments have been working. I definitely recommend this business if you are considering it. The equipment is modern and the ambiance is warming and clean. And do not forget that they are extremely affordable.

I’ve been here a few times and each time the experience was excellent. If I did not know how something worked the staff was very imformative. I signed up for the laser hair removal package from groupon, at first I did not belive it would work for my skin tone, because I’m a woman of color. But I was reassured and a small area was performed on to show me how it all works. It was not painful, easy and fast. Great experience. Will continue going, and partaking in the different services they provide.

When I assess medispas, I look to see how knowledgeable the staff is, how clean the facility is and how modern their equipment is. And in all three cases, the Kor MediSpa did very well.
I came across the Groupon Coupon and called to ask about the procedure. Alyssa, the aesthetician, was very thorough, knowledgeable and clear with her explanations and directions. She was very patient with me because I was concerned about the process and have learned to ask a lot of questions because of a bad experience I had before with another medispa that was both painful and ineffective. I had researched the machine and knew it would be more effective for my specific skin type. I am a dark skinned Latina and having laser hair removal has been more of a wish, than a reality. This time, it seemed to tickle more than anything because of the cold blast that the machine gives off to counter the heat from the laser. Not only was there no pain, it seems to have been more effective.
Facility is spacious, looks newly renovated and very clean; and it can put Manhattan medispas to shame. Parking was easy. I would definitely recommend the Kor Medi Spa and Alyssa!

Experienced this spa via a Groupon offer for laser hair removal and called them direct to see if they would honor the amazing deal. They did and I’m Sooo glad I did because the Aesthetician who answered my call was amazing! Aliza (I could be spelling incorrectly)
She took my call, very patiently and extremely detailed took the time to understand why I was calling, what I was looking for and how her Spa and services would be an excellent fit.
Okay so day of appointment~ nerves and excitement settling in. I arrive to the Spa and realize it’s also part of a medical clinic which oddly enough puts me at ease because I’m thinking something goes wrong the Meds are here so a okay.
Spa is clean, modern not over the top chic however extremely clean, inviting and pleasant. Bathroom is pristine which in my book is a huge plus for any establishment.
Aliza the aesthetician (I think she’s part owner?) checks me in and very professionally and sincerely explains the process as this is my 1st time going through this process. Maybe she senses I’m a bit nervous so I appreciate this very much.
Now the fun part. I’m in my birthday suit and Aliza mentally preps me for the pain. It was slightly uncomfortable however not excruciating and I can not wait for the next treatment.
Pros: skillful staff, amazing customer service. Affordable, clean and comfortable
Cons: the website is super dated. Kinda blah, not very modern and okay. They should definitely upgrade.

I was excited and nervous to come to Kor medispa I wanted to treat myself to a facial or something, after loosing weight. I was opened to suggestions but I also knew I wasn’t going to get robbed. The décor of this location is extremely beautiful, I truly felt as if I was in Manhattan. The esthetician knew what she was talking about and suggested a facial laser treatment, to help me tighten my skin. She made me feel feel very relaxed, explained everything and was consistent on asking me if I was ok. I write this because I’ve been to places in the past where I laid in a bed for an hour and no communication at all. I paid an awesome price for this treatment, I’ve been doing research so I knew how much the prices ranged for facial laser. I saw and felt a difference when I left but the real test was the next day, I couldn’t believe my eyes how taut and glowy my skin looked!!! I called the next day to thanked them, it’s been awhile since I felt comfortable in my skin so besides calling and giving them 10 stars in Unilocal.Highly recommend this medispa and will be coming back very often! This spa has Manhattan vibe with queens prices, can’t beat that deal!

I go here for skin rejuvenation treatments and microdermabrasion. Its a new spa and their staff is very friendly and caring! the ambiance of the spa is also great — gives a feel of a Manhattan spa in Queens. I really like the laser that they use and I have seen a great improvement in my skin after only a couple of treatments.
