We hired Bostonian floor co. to put new tiles in our bathroom floor and we are very pleased with the results. Their price was reasonable, they were easy to reach and were quick in scheduling and finishing the job. I highly recommend them.

Bostonian Floor Co. did a great job refinishing our water-​damaged 675 sq. ft. floor. The polite, efficient crew prepared the room by masking off the doorways and framed artwork on the walls. Next with their dustless sanding system they removed the OEM honey-​amber finish right down to the original wood veneer on the parquet. Then John Trong repaired the damaged areas conscientiously and they laid down the stain we had selected.
When the parquet’s white oak veneer resisted «taking» the ebony stain as well we had expected, an exceedingly patient John worked with us uncomplainingly to achieve the exact color we wanted, never mind that success required the application of another coat of stain.
John and his crew were very meticulous in applying stain to the floor, getting down on their hands and knees to rub the stain into the wood and manually treat edges of parquet tiles the sander could not reach. Likewise, the crew examined every square foot of flooring before applying the final coat of urethane finish.
Lastly, John was explicit with instructions about when we could resume walking on the floor in stocking feet, in shoes, and when we could replace furniture on the floor. It’s one thing for the finish to dry, quite another for it to «cure.»
In sum, our experience with Bostonian Floor Co. was exceedingly favorable. John stands behind his work and will do anything within reason to ensure your satisfaction. It goes without saying that I highly recommend him.

We purchased a home in Fall 2015 and decided to get our floors refinished before we moved in. John came onsite to give us an estimate, he was very pleasant and open about what needed to be done. He did not try to oversell his services. The estimate he gave us was very fair and he put us on the schedule a couple of weeks after that. When we got to take a look, it was as if this was a new floor altogether. A few months later, I still look at my floors and tell my husband how great they look and how happy I am we invested some money into the refinishing. John’s crew cleaned perfectly after being done with the work. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

I called up Bostonian floors because I needed a sand and poly for 1250sq ft house. John and his employees sure knows what their doing. Came in to work early and left before I even got home. Very speedy and the outcome is phenomenal. If you want good your floors to look brand new I would recommend this company for sure.

I had my floors done by Bostonian recently and they did a fantastic job. I had gotten multiple estimates and John’s was in the same range as all of the others but he seemed way more knowledgable and confident than the other people I had spoken with. I couple of things went sideways during installation mainly due to the fact that the material I wanted installed was difficult to work with (one of the contractors I tried to get a quote from said he wouldn’t even work with that material: very hard recycled wood/​composite flooring). What I was most impressed with was John’s absolute commitment to getting any issues fixed and it felt like his top priority was ensuring that I was completely satisfied with the job they did. At some point I’ll need to have the wood floors refinished in the rest of my house and Bostonian will be my only phone call.

I have only the best to say about John and the crew. With all of the positive reviews and images I knew that they could be good. We hadn’t even closed on our new home yet and John was able to give me an estimate through email after seeing the floor plan and pictures. We replaced linoleum, matched existing hardwood, and refinished and stained all to match. Bostonian Floor Company blew away all other estimates and could fit the job in right away. His crew was so nice and helpful. They even ripped up an extra layer of unexpected sub floor plywood. The floors looked a perfect match! I found it hard to get over to the house daily so John and his crew made sure to lock up every night. They also kept in touch constantly through text sending pictures of stain colors and finishes. John stayed in touch after the job was finalized in regards to questions or concerns. Look no further then Bostonian Floor Company. My new floors are beautiful!!!

John and his crew were great! We hired Bostonian for sand, stain and poly for the entire house. They finished the floors the day before they said they were going to and the floors were perfect! Dark Stain on them looked fantastic and made it a new house! Most reasonable quote we got as well! Would recommended to anyone and would use Bostonian for any of our future flooring needs.

These guys are the best. Had a huge hump in the middle of our floor and these guys took care of it no problem. We also requested a very specific contemporary look which required slightly changing a standard stain and these guys completely nailed it. I called them one week and about ten days later it felt like we had a new house from their work. Reasonable prices too — floor search ends here!

He spent his time explaining and made few trips to make sure I wanted the right kind of flooring and stair treads. His crew was great and professional. John and his team are amazing and their work is top notch. John was so helpful and made sure we understood all the different options we could do to get the best floor for us. We had hardwood installed replacing wall to wall and existing hardwood refinished to match, including a staircase. He was even able to get us into his already booked schedule with a week’s notice. Crew was always on time and even worked extra to make our move in timeline. They are the best. Six stars.

We had Bostonian Floor Company refinish our floors recently, and they did a great job. They’d come recommended by some friends in Framingham, who had also had a great experience with them.
John came by a couple weeks beforehand to take measurements and provide us with an estimate. They were able to schedule the work at a time that was very convenient for us, and they did a fantastic job. The floors look great, and they were very professional and easy to work with. Price was also reasonable too.

I was left with major damage to my natural wood hardwood floors after tenants vacated. The floors had deep gouges and long scratches in them, stains and damage from a puppy marking his new territory. Bostonian came to give me an estimate and recommended a good sanding and darker color to refinish, which is what I wanted to go with for a new modern look. John educated me as to oil based and water based finish, the pros and cons and walked me through his process. My floors were done within a week — they are so beautiful, I don’t even want to put a carpet over them! There was little to NO dust, they work with a dustless system and vacuum thoroughly, I an very pleased and highly recommend Bostonian Floor! In fact, my parents are planning on having theirs done in the spring. The price was very reasonable, they were timely, courteous and set expectations. You won’t be disappointed.
