Citizens Bank

I came in here originally to get a bank check. I called Citizens beforehand to make sure I didn’t have to have an account to get a check. I NEEDED to get it that day at around 6pm. There was no leeway to get the check another day. When I arrived at this branch, they teller told me that I was misinformed and they could not issue a bank check to me if I didn’t have a Citizens account. Needless to say, I was pretty pissed. My bank was closed and I needed to give a down payment to a realtor the next morning to hold the place I wanted.
After some coaxing from Amanda (Senior Banker) and Shimian (Universal Personal Banker), I decided to just open the account — and get the bank check. I wasn’t going to keep the account open until I spoke to these nice ladies for a while. They were so accommodating and were quick to explain the benefits of keeping the account open. I watched Amanda as customers came through the line, knowing multiple customers by name. These two bankers kept their friendly and accommodating attitudes throughout each and every customer.
I would hire these ladies in a heartbeat. To take a pissed off customer, have them leave happy — AND open an account. is something that I believe should be recognized.

Located inside a stop and shop supermarket and open 7 days a week, this bank branch is very handy for those who want to save time and do their banking before or after grocery shopping.
Unlike the first reviewer, I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful with zero issues.
The line moves quickly.
Parking is easy as the strip mall has a huge parking lot that never fills.

If a bank operates out of a super market for the objective of convenience of one stop errand running, this branch does not live up to it.
My plan was going to the bank for a cash advance, send money via Western Union and then grab a snack all in one building. To my dismay, the machine for cash advance was down which pretty much means I cannot get cash to send money. The teller advised me to go to another branch down in Southern Artery. Good idea if I didn’t walk here! Do they not realize that not everyone drives to Stop and Shop all the time?
I asked when will it be back up. She replies that She doesn’t know and she doesn’t bother to go find out. Great customer service!
I lost my mood for a snack and walked back home without getting anything done.
