Very disappointed with the quality. Chicken was dry and burnt. Rap music was blaring over the speakers. Won’t be back.

The one thing this restaurant has going for it was a nice person who took my order. She meant well, even if she didn’t greet me and explain the way that everything works at Lime. There were almost no vegetarian options. Everything was chicken or beef. .. nothing unique or creative at all. Salsas looked attractive but were actually bland and unseasoned. My order came out wrong — probably because when it was called back the employees were openly on their phones and texting rather than paying attention. Being a bit of a purist, I ordered soft corn tortillas with my tacos. And, as most people who are in the business of serving tacos know, corn tortillas have to be warmed up before they are served. Otherwise they are brittle and very starchy tasting. The tortillas on my tacos were cold, starchy, and falling apart. Terrible! I also ordered a side of guacamole and was charged a high price for what amounted to about a shot glass of it. And, oddly, it had a lot of black pepper in it. Again, those people who are in the business of serving Mexican food should know that there is not a whole lot of black pepper used in Mexican kitchens. And, to the person who served my food, gallo(as in pico de gallo) is pronounced /gayo/, not /gallow/. That was just embarrassing. –Anne

Loved this place. Mexican food is one of my favorites and these guys do it well. The salsa counter lets you play with the taste.

When they first opened it was good. Went today and it has gone downhill. I paid almost $ 11 for a basic burrito and drink… wtf?

Rudest staff I have EVER experienced in my life. No greeting, no personality, no explanation of how it works. This was my first and last time I will ever go into this place. The staff ruined it. The food was good but not good enough to go back with staff that is that rude.

Best sour cream ever. Not sure what they do to it but they put that sh*t on everything and it’s worth every bit. Main competitor is Moes. Lime is no better or worse, just different. I usually get the bean burrito and I just love it. No complaints. I go here at least monthly. Their salsa isn’t as good as Moes, but they also don’t scream«MOES» at you when you walk in.(I think it’s supposed to be «Welcome to Moes» but… yeah it just comes out a sad, empty«MOES» after about 3 months of doing it) Their drink machines are caked with mold. A health inspector’s nightmare. I usually don’t drink anything there, but the food is great.

So, this review will cover two main areas: food and design. The food was alright, but as I usually do, I ask myself halfway through the meal if I would return. The answer that my wife and I arrived at was a no. Not only was the food on the average side in general, the Lime Burrito(their feature menu item) was so stuffed with re-fried beans that I wasn’t even sure of there was any meat in it. Not a satisfying meal in the least. Secondly, the design is clearly not for families. They have four tables that would work for a highchair with a group of 3 – 4. The other tables are too big or too high. We had to sit outside, and it was also average. Won’t be back.

Second time coming and ordering Steak Queso tacos — and they are AMAZING! Perfect lunch spot — I am so glad I gave them a try. Service was really nice also! I like that they don’t give as much food it’s nice, and if you go on Tuesdays 2 tacos, chips, and a drink are only $ 5.99! Give them a try! :-)

I think that this restaurant needs to take out the part of their logo that says«Fresh» Mexican Grill. So I had real high hopes for this restaurant. It was my first time coming here and I think I won’t be coming back anytime soon. I love Mexican food. It’s delicious and you can taste when something is wrong with it and when it’s the best thing you’ve ever had. Of course this place isn’t an authentic Mexican restaurant but when you have the word fresh I at least want to be able to taste it. So the service was great and very friendly. I believe I came at a busy time and my food came at a good time. Now the problem was that when I took a bite of the chips… I felt they gave us the chips from the day before. It was super stale and not at all at least a little warm. It was terrible and when I went to try the salsa(I choose the VERDE sauce) and it was so nasty. I couldn’t really describe the taste but it was just not right. I obviously didn’t touch my chips after that. The other problem was the burrito I ordered. So I ordered the Cali Burrito and well I saw that instead of steak they use ground beef. When he asked me chicken or ground beef… I looked at him with a confused face and said, «beef?» Thinking that he it would magically change to steak lol. Anyways the burrito was suprisingly not bad with the ground beef because it had a lot of flavor. The thing that made the burrito very different was the rice or what I thought at first it was mash potatoe. It was so mushy! It felt and looked like mash potatoe. So the burrito came with one side insidebeing with the ground beef and the other the rice. It made it difficult to eat because I didn’t want to take a bite of just rice(mash potatoe). I really wanted this place to be good so I can bring my wife next time but unfortunately it is just another restaurant we will try to avoid. Not worth the $ 10 for unfresh chips, a confused salsa, or mash potatoe rice.

Went here to try it out, having heard so much about lime fresh. Service was atrocious. It was the dead time(3 – 5) on a sunday so needless to say it was slow. It still somehow took over 30 minutes to get our food, except we only got 2 out of the 3 meals and one of those meals(3 tacos, 2 chicken one fish) only came out with 2, we were told the fish took longer to come out(more than 30 minutes?) and when it finally did– it was wrong. We had ordered guacamole in the meantime which came out sour, so they got us a new order which was at least edible. Never again.

The food here is not bad(although a little salty) and I do like the salsa bar and the fact that they have Coke products. The staff is always friendly, and the restaurant is clean. I just think the place is WAY overpriced. Every single comparable place is much much cheaper.

I saw a friend leave a review about the one in Morrisville, and how they barely give you any meat, and it reminded me about the issue I have about this location too. I get the tacos with only cheese on them, so I can easily see how much meat they give and it is really shameful, it is about 2 tablespoons(this has happened about every time I get the tacos). So I go up to the manager and ask them to at least give me enough taco meat to fill the bottom of the shell, and they always will do it, and they do seem a little embarrassed about how little it is but it’s a pain to have to ask. I gave them two stars because hubby likes the fish tacos and they look pretty good, and he enjoys them. This one is closer so we do patronize it, but Moes is across the street it is a much better deal and comparable quality, so when we have time we prefer to go there.

First time coming here and it will be my last. I ordered a simple burrito with extra meat and received a burrito with everything that I did not want on it. I was charged $ 5 for extra meat when there was barley any on there to begin with. I asked for my money back and was greeted with a blank stare from the manager. It took nearly 15 minutes for me to get my $ 13 dollars back for my burrito when there was maybe only 6 other people in the place. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

I came in with some friends and the food here was pretty decent. I had a quesadilla, chips and some salsa from the salsa bar. The employees were very polite and helpful and our food came out pretty quickly. Decent for quick food.

Food was just ok. Nothing special. Salad was smaller than I like, left a little hungry. Service was obvious they didnt care, but played polite well enough. Table left dirty with trays. We were confused if we were supposed to bus our trays, but there didnt seem to be anywhere to put them. Wont be back. Plenty of other places around for a quick salad.

YUM!!! I’m from out west & love Mexican & Tex-Mex & fresh Mex. The kids loved their tacos & quesadillas.(Can’t beat $ 3 kids meals!) & the baby liked his side of beans & rice($ 2). Avocado bacon Quesadilla was delicious. queso burrito(chicken) yum! A little rice heavy, but I scooped out some rice, added a bunch of pico de gallo & cilantro & it was really tasty. It would be good with lettuce as well! salsa bar. YUMMMMM! The salsa verde & asada salsas are deliciosos — actually they all were! Cool ambience & décor & great music playing on Sirius. Will go back again.

I have to update my review of Lime and give it an upgrade. I am addicted to their steak and queso tacos. I’ve since relocated to the side of town where Lime is and I find myself going about once a week. I always tell myself I will get something different, but I continue to order these tacos. I am hooked! I like that they will do a combination or soft and hard shell. I normally order two(because three is just too much for me) and get one of each. I love their salsa bar and hot sauce bar. It’s fun to paly around in. The place is clean and the staff super friendly and efficient. I know there are other places to eat in Brier Creek, but I might have a hard time convincing myself to try them. I am so in love with Lime.

I don’t know, I mean… this place is fine. I’d been starved half to death by the time I got here, so I’m not entirely sure my opinion is objective, but there were probably only 2 other parties in the entire restaurant(which of course we joked about like a bunch of idiots immediately upon arrival — «HOW will we EVER find a table?!»). I got the big cali burrito, but as a bowl. They’re real proud of their bowls. The opening of this bowl was as big as my torso. It seemed at least a smidgen excessive in my opinion. The rice was supposed to be some kind of limeish situation, but it just tasted like white rice. They were also incredibly conservative on their meat portion for my dish, and the queso I ordered was something you’d find at a Sunday tailgate party(you know, velveeta and rotello?). Wasn’t a huge fan.

Good Burrito Shack, like a chipolte/qdoba, but different. It was nice and clean, and have some good choices other than burritos. The taco salads were nice looking, but I ended up getting a burrtio. They have bunch of different types of salsa to try on your foods. The Pineapple salsa was pretty good. Also the most impressive factor, was their offering of different hot sauces. I would eat here again.

So nice to have another healthy place to nom at in the Brier Creek area! Dropped in last week for a quick lunch with some coworkers. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by a fella donned in a sombrero with menus. He was really nice, but he slammed us with too much info at the door. I mean, I like learning about how how many other Lime Freshs there are and other cool stats — just not after I walk in the door, ready to order my lunch, with a menu in my hand. The line was super short(it was 11:45ish). I decided to go with the«Skinny Burrito», since I had blew my diet earlier with half of a pumpkin cheesecake(don’t get me started). I was also curious to try out their guacamole, on the side. Once I got my receipt and table number(some blue card thing), I snagged an open table in the back. Next, I ventured over to the«salsa bar». I tried the pico de gallo(standard), black bean/corn mixture(meh), and the pineapple salsa(yuuuum). I was sad there was no *saucy* salsa(you know, the mild, red kind you get at other Spanish joints). Food came after 8 minutes or so – sweet! I got a huge whole wheat burrito, stuffed with a generous amount of grilled(juicy) chicken, shredded cheese, organic fat-free refried beans, and shredded lettuce. It was SO filling. The chips that came with were aight — they needed more salt. The guacamole was fresh, but it was missing LIME juice. Oh Lime Fresh, WHY did you forget the lime? No fear — my friend grabbed me a few limes from the salsa bar to fix the situation. Much better. You’ll definitely leave Lime Fresh full — a bit gluttonous, but the healthy kind. I took my leftover fourth of my burrito back to work… and I ended up snacking on it later. Don’t judge me! If you plan on bringing a group for a workweek lunch, go EARLY. The place was a hoppin’ madhouse 30 minutes in. I hope this place fares longer than the previous Qdoba who lasted no longer than a year(RIP).
