History

Established in 2006.

The Triangle Pest Control story began when North Carolina native, Donnie Shelton, purchased a small pest control company over lunch at the local Wendy’s®. Donnie’s previous experience in the United States Air Force as a Pilot trained him to be disciplined and performance driven. These qualities, plus a total focus on our customers, are the basis of what Triangle Pest Control was founded upon.

By adhering to the Golden Rule and building a team of individuals with the core values of integrity, excellence, and service, Triangle Pest Control grew quickly. Though its beginnings were humble, with only 23 accounts, Triangle Pest Control quickly outgrew the small home office where it began and opened its first office in Holly Springs, North Carolina. Today, Triangle Pest Control serves thousands of residential accounts in the Triangle and surrounding areas.

Initial interactions with Steven Scott at Triangle Pest Control were efficient. Since the initial termite inspection and treatment I can’t say the same.
I texted Steven Scott on 25May2016 about a problem. I received a text back the next day stating «ok I will call you later today».
That was on 26May2016. Today is 08Jun2016 and I am yet to hear back from Steven Scott.
I feel that if Steven isn’t capable of the attention to detail and following up on his word… I doubt that he will spend the time and give attention to the details when he’s out protecting houses.

Ants appeared in my kitchen during the recent 2-​week rain. Have not had ants often in the 35 years we have lived here, and when we did they were not hard to get rid of with home treatments. These ants would not leave. I called them roach ants because we saw just a few of them in daylight but in the morning when we got up, hundreds had come out while it was dark and made a mass foray into our kitchen garbage. I was literally putting scraps into sealable bags in order to throw it into the garbage can. Emptied the garbage several times a day.
Decided that getting rid of the ants was a job for the professionals. Called Triangle Monday, they came Tuesday, and Wednesday we could put garbage in the kitchen garbage can like normal people. Their employee who treated for the «roach ants» said they were ordinary ants. I am not so sure. Could have been some sort of mutant, that close to Halloween. But anyway, thank you, Triangle Pest Control!

Contacted a rep for this company and set up a appointment. On the day of the appointment he texted me and canceled. Said he would have to reschedule. Never called me back. I called the home office and they sent a different rep. After talking about the problem and working to identify it. The rep said he would call and see what we needed to do next. Never heard from him again. This is not a professional. I suggest you not use this company if u want professional treatment.

Just signed up and pleased with the pest control service in Raleigh, NC from the initial phone call inquiry to the technician who came out and was very communicative and responsive to my questions. They made it clear that they would come out any time I make a call (potentially even the same day). They Emailed me the contract and made the process smooth and easy. We moved here in 2007 from NJ and really loved our new home. A few days into living here we found 3 – 4 HUGE bugs which I later found out were Palmetto bugs or huge roaches, common to the area. I told my husband it’s time to get a pest control company. We called Triangle Pest and they took care of the situation and we’ve been happy customers ever since! Highly recommend!

My HOA selected them for our termite protection, but when I got termites, I found out their warranty doesn’t cover damages, just more treatment (which didn’t stop me from getting termites in the first place).
I’m sure they’re nice people, but termite protection that doesn’t cover damages seems worthless to me.

We were under attack and Triangle Pest Control saved us.
We moved into our house and were having major spider issues. Inside, outside, everywhere. One day, spiders had built webs over EVERY SINGLE DOOR to the house. It was terrible. I contacted a few companies and chose TPC. Their price was on par with other companies, and they were the most professional and courteous. Scheduling was easy, and they came out the same day I called them.
Our bug guy showed up and knocked down all the spider webs and sprayed inside and out. Its been 3 months and life is so much better now. The occasional bug gets inside, but since we live on the edge of the woods, that it to be expected. Major difference from before.

Great company! Lisa is the sweetest every time I call. She is very helpful and makes me feel like she genuinely cares. The maintenance guys that have come by have also been great. They’re very nice and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend Triangle Pest Control! =)

Chrisy K. From Chapel Hill said it perfectly– these guys keep ‘upping’ there products and prices. VERY DISAPPOINTING! Customer service has always been good but they’re turning into Time Warner Cable– they keep ‘bundling/​adding additional services’ that I don’t want and then hiking up their prices! I just want my yard sprayed for mosquitos… not African brown beetles, Tibetan ticks or Tasmanian devils!
I won’t be using them anymore or referring them again. Sorry to lose a good business, they’re just getting too greedy.

Was very helpful on the phone setting up service and technician that came to our home was on time and professional.
He took his time reviewing the service I was receiving and setting up everything at our home.
Afterwards I got a callback from the office to make sure I was happy with everything and to see if I had any questions.

We just started using Triangle Pest Control and are very happy with the service so far. I called after they had closed one evening, and left a voicemail. We had ants coming into the house through an electric socket and our home is currently on the market, so we were freaking out! I’ve called other vendors (not necessarily pest control) and left messages before and NEVER received a response. I don’t alway expect the best customer service from companies like these. So imagine my shock when I received a return call from them early the next morning! Chalk one point for TPC!
I spoke with Kyle, who was extremely helpful in explaining how their service works and my choices. I was nervous we would have to wait a few days and handle the any issue on our own with traps, but they were able to send someone here same day! What?! I was told I would receive a call about 20 minutes before their service technician got here.
I got a call from Ryan, the tech around Noon, letting me know he would be here at 1pm. Guess what! He was here at 1pm! He was super friendly and very professional. He went through the service again, explained the contract and answered all of my questions. He was quick and efficient in doing the inside and outside of the home. They even knock down cobwebs on the outside of the house, around the windows!
We’re getting ready to move to a new home and I plan to transfer my service with them. Highly recommended!

Triangle Pest Control is both efficient and friendly. The people you talk to on the phone are ready to get down to business and help get you set up for whatever it is you need.
We had a lot of spiders and other critters because the home we bought had been vacant. Triangle Pest Control came out very quickly and started erradicating the bugs and protecting the house. When we saw some more three weeks later they came out THE NEXT DAY FOR FREE and we have been bug free since. The technician is very helpful and listens to all of our concerns and addresses them. Plus they are super quick! They are in and out of your house and it is not like they don’t cover all the areas!
