Cory is the best! Very professional, personable, timely, informative, honest, and fair. All for a reasonable price! He came on a Sunday when nobody else was open. He’s very quick to respond every time and I feel comfortable having him in my home.

Called on Cory for a second opinion on the heating system to ensure it was safe to use. First company’s diagnoses was unsafe system, scare tactics and sales pitch. Cory arrived promptly and reassured me the heat exchanger is okay and safe to heat the home. Thank you Cory. I’ll be seeing you in April for the Summer Tune-​up.

I can’t say enough how great the customer service was from the moment I called Cory regarding an issue with my Heat Pump heating unit. I didn’t have any heat on a very cold day so I looked on the internet to find a service company. I contacted Cory, explained my problem to him and was shocked that he agreed to come out the same day. He arrived earlier than I anticipated which was an excellent start. He was able to come in, diagnose the problem and get the issue fixed in no time.
But what I liked about Cory was 3 things:
1) Fairly Priced
2) Very Thorough
3) Was able to communicate the issue in a way that I could both understand. No jargon!
Those are 3 things that I think that everyone wants when they have someone come into their home to fix something. They want to make sure that the person knows what they are doing, is not trying to rip them off, will go over and beyond and is able to communicate the benefits of getting something done. Cory checked off all the boxes! He even called me the following day to check to see if thing were working to my satisfaction. When does that ever happed? I am extremely grateful to Buck’s Heating and Air for the job they did and would recommend them to anyone who has Heating and Air needs!

We purchased our house in Folsom 3 years ago knowing that the 30+ year old HVAC systems (yes 2 of them) would need to be replaced. We were told they had another 5 years on them. Buck’s heating and air came out for maintenance earlier this year and suggested we change out the capacitors to get us through the summer. With a new baby on the way we wanted to get the systems replaced relatively soon to prevent any outages in the middle of winter. The service provided was reflective of the situation and not overkill considering the imminent replacement.
This fall we reached out to Bucks Heating and Air look at options for replacement of both systems. Cory arrived with brochures, and pictures to provide us the detailed information needed to make this type of expensive home repair. He explained the difference between types of systems and knowledgeably answered ALL of our questions. We were able to make a decision on the spot and schedule the work to start the following week. The whole project took 5 days. Cory arrived with his crew on time and ready to work. The first 2 days they replaced the entire system in the front of the house including the condenser unit, air handler, thermostat, and ducts! The last three days they replaced the entire system (unit/​handler/​tstat/​ducts) in the back of the house. He showed us pictures of the progress as he went, which was nice because we don’t go into the attic often. The new thermostats are wifi enabled, easy to use, and smart.
Cory was able to anticipate any potential challenges they might face including:
The ability to fit the air handler through the attic access in the garage — he had to take out the casing around the drop down stairs, and he put it back when he was done.
The potential need to run the line set on the exterior of the home — which he did have to do because the new lines could not fit through the exterior wall.
I loved that there were no hidden costs associated with the work. The thorough inspection prior to the start of the work helped prevent any unanticipated expenses along the way. They were able to do all of the work for the price quoted. The payment schedule was perfect, $ 1000 up front, half of the remaining after the first system was replaced, and the other half after the second system was replaced. The total price included the materials, labor, plus the required permits and title 24 testing.
Both systems are now up and running and working great. Buck’s Heating and Air did a great job and we will have them back for all our future maintenance and repair needs.

Bucks Heating and Air is a lifesaver! We were having a heating system emergency and called when all other places were closed and Cory was able to save the day. When he gave us the news that we would need to replace our heating and air system we admittedly were panicked due to financial reasons. But, he was able to give us a wide range of options that fit our budget and even looked into financing options.
We were back up and running with a brand new system in under a week.

Ask for Cory when you call this company. This guy was outstanding in his ability to communicate the problem I was having with my a/​c unit. I have had other people/company’s work on my heater unit in the attic with that kind of in and out 400 dollar kind of thing but this guy gave me several options for things I could do and I just really, really appreciate that kind of honesty. Down the road when I do replace my system I will absolutely be using this company.

Cory was fantastic! He literally got us out of a hot spot! Our a/​c broke right at the time when we had days of 100degree plus weather. We gave him a call and he immediately came over and diagnosed the problem. He later came back with the parts and fixed the issue we were having. Very affordable, excellent customer service. Would hire again in a heartbeat!

I can’t say enough about how great this company is! From the moment I called to schedule an appointment until the moment Cory left everything just went so smoothly. He came to check our heating system and was so nice and patient while I asked all of my questions. He didn’t try and up sell us a ton of equipment we didn’t need. He was very professional and polite throughout our entire visit. I will definitely be calling Bucks Heating & Air for any future services needed.

Cory was awesome! We had previously had two other techs out and neither could identify the problem with our heater. Within 15 minutes he ID’ed the problem and didn’t charge us an arm and a leg. We will definitely use him when we get a new system.
