We recently had new laminate installed by the Floor Store. We couldn’t be happier with the results! From the moment we entered the store, to the moment the installation was completed our experience was 5-​star. When we went to the store, Lorene helped us pick a laminate that was beautiful, high-​quality, and one that fit our needs and our budget. She quickly worked up a quote for us and scheduled our installation. The guys that did the installation were courteous, hard-​working, and paid attention to detail. They removed our carpet, removed and reinstalled the baseboards, and even moved our furniture to get the job done beautifully and efficiently. Lorene followed-​up with us after the installation was complete to make sure we were satisfied. She also dropped off some cleaning supplies for our new floors. After hitting what we thought was every tile store in Sacramento, we discovered The Floor Store. We knew what tile we wanted but needed to see samples in the appropriate colors. When we came in, Lorene Geiger greeted us and after we told her what we were looking for, she went into action helping us discover the right combination of tiles for our house.
This was a huge project as we replaced all the carpet on both levels of the house. Lorene not only helped us choose the best colors, she kept us from chickening out of our original choice — she kindly told us that our original design was artistic and beautiful and the bland one we were leaning toward was, well, bland.
As I said, the project was huge, it took 10 full days for the crew to remove the carpet and lay the tile. During the project, Lorene was available by phone and text every day, including weekends when the crew was not working. There were no major issues during this job, which is remarkable in itself, and the few things that did come up were handled quickly and without drama.
A project of this size can easily turn into a nightmare but because of the quality of the product, the professionalism and artistry of the crew, and the patience and compassion of Lorene Geiger, we came through the process as easily as possible.

I really can’t say enough good things about this place! We had Ray as our consultant. He came out promptly to give us a quote on removing over 500sqft of tile flooring and replacing it with half laminate flooring and half carpet. We received other quotes and Floor Store was the lowest bid by over $ 500! When it came time to have the tile removed (a messy business from what I’ve heard), the crew got it all up in a day and left NO mess whatsoever… I couldn’t believe how fast they got up that much tile and how clean everything was afterwards. Then the crew installed the laminate and carpet over the next two days. The crew was clean cut, timely, very polite, and obviously knew what they were doing. I really appreciate them sending out a crew that I could trust to leave in my home alone. Thank you SO much Floor Store for making this project the least stressful as possible, and thank you for my gorgeous new floors!

These guys are great! Starting with Larry and the excellent advice and the great deal to Vas and his crew on the install. We recently replaced all the flooring in our home with wood look porcelain tile. My husband is disabled and we have lots of medical equipment that is hard on the flooring. Larry helped me evaluate the wear resistance of several different flooring options so I could make the best choice. And Vas and his crew were so accommodating in working around us and even managed to finish in half the projected time! Part of that was because I moved out most of the clutter beforehand but mostly because they just know their business and are so awesome! No shortcuts or shoddy work there and yet they still managed to work so fast and efficiently together. I can’t say enough good about these folks. I highly recommend for a quality product and extreme professionalism they can’t be beat! I love, love, love my new floors! I keep thinking I have hardwood and then remember it’s actually tile.

Ask for Larry at The Floor Store. He did such a professional job on our flooring for the house my sister and I were selling, top quality Laminate flooring and carpet with a very reasonable price. The installers were professional and did a fantastic job. We cant say enough good things about Larry and The Floor Store. We used the installers at this store to correct a problem with a floor installed by Nedco flooring.
We used Nedco because we were trying to match an existing floor and Lumber Liquidators was the only place that had the wood we thought matched. They led us to believe we had to use Nedco flooring.
The floor did not match and it was a terrible experience.
I called the Floor Store and Ray came out. He was wonderful to work with. We had this company remove the old floor and now all the floors match.
The installers were outstanding.

During my research for a carpet and install job I found a few places that seemed to offer good quality product and affordable prices. The reason my husband and I chose Floor Store is because they not only had the good quality and affordable pricing we also received superior customer service from Mark Monas.
I am very particular about communication and follow up. Mark consistently followed up with us answering any and all questions we had. If he didn’t have the answer he would find out and call us back in a timely fashion. There was even a point in the process (before we finalized paper work) where I scheduled some time to stop by the store and see a carpet Mark recommended. The contractor working that day unfortunately didn’t get the memo and wasn’t sure what carpet we needed to see. I was put off by the exchange and remember I walked out the door and said to my husband that I didn’t want to consider this store anymore… well, Mark called a couple days later to follow up. He was very sympathetic, he explained the situation, and that conversation kept my business!
Purchase: ⁵⁄₅ easy breezy! Mark recommended a fine carpet. We love the color and it’s very very soft! So far so good.
Install: ⁵⁄₅ Amazing! Holding up just fine. The two gentlemen who installed our carpet (a few weeks ago) were efficient, thorough, and professional! Two guys finished the job (5 rooms, stairs and closets) in 1.5 days.

We just got 2 rooms of installed carpet and couldn’t be happier. While comparing carpet brands can be as difficult as comparing matress quality, we shopped around and got the best carpet, pad, and price at the Floor Store. Larry «the Fonz» was our salesman and did a great job of listening to what we wanted and gave us the info we needed to make an informed decision. I will recommend them at any opportunity.

My wife and I visited nearly a dozen stores to find replacement flooring for our kitchen, which was damaged when a water leak from the fridge destroyed the engineered oak after 18 years.
Dave Mitchell greeted us and it was instant «we like this guy.» Dave is a veteran tile setter. He helped us locate a tile not found elsewhere, and quickly put together an estimate based on our measurements. A week later he visited the project, measured carefully and wrote a proposal, which we accepted.
Tile setters Bryan, Jake and Manny showed up on time to first remove the damaged flooring and then install our Mulia Spain-​made tile. They curtained the room to contain dust. The job took three days and the service was completely professional. We highly recommend Bryan and Jake as co-​equal tile setters, and Manny for muscular support. They are especially good as a team.

I must have good karma because on my last day of research on flooring I stumbled on The Floor Store here on Unilocal.And further more when I came into the Floor Store I got to work directly with Dave. Just a few days ago I had a beautiful maple floor installed and my overall experience with getting it installed was beyond my expectations.
I’m a new home owner and was looking to install hardwood floor for my small house (total ~850 sf of flooring to be done). I had a friend in the business and he offered to install at a good labor price. At the time I was leaning toward bamboo flooring which turned out to be a bit too pricey for my budget at ~$ 5.25/sf for material. I decided to shop around for material on my own and came to the Floor Store. I saw a beautiful maple sample there and spoke with Dave regarding installation. We did an estimate and agreed on a contract on the same day. If you have time and could wait Dave had his team of trusted installers or he could find you guys in short notice. I waited about two weeks for wood to arrive and get my floor install by Dave’s regular guys. My floor was done in two days, it look gorgeous and overall the process was completely painless.

Jeremy had put my laminate through out my home and the carpet in my master bedroom. He worked within our budget and was able to get the job done fast. His crew does exceptional work, fast and professional.

Dave and his crew at the Floor Store did a great job with the LVT flooring and indoor/​outdoor carpeting for our houseboat. They went out of their way, literally, to meet our needs with great products and very reasonable pricing.

I did quite a bit of shopping around before finding the Floor Store in Rancho Cordova, CA. Ray helped us and knew the products well. We had a good idea what we wanted with Brazilian Cherry Hardwood throughout the house and carpeting in the bedrooms. There are many different shades of Brazilian Cherry and Ray showed us many of these. Within 15 minutes we had selected our hardwood and carpet.
Ray came out to the house to double check my measurements and saved me even more.
The Floor Store has their own installers and WOW what a professional team these guys were. The installers were quick, professional, and thorough. They even removed my baseboards and put them back on when they were done. I did not have to do anything, but let the guys in.
The finished job is fantastic! The price was less than anyone else, the products were superior, the installation was outstanding. I am proud to write a great review for the Floor Store in Rancho Cordova. If you are in the Sacramento area these are the folks to go see for your flooring needs.

I can sum up the Floor Store in one word AWESOME! We needed new floors due to a flood in our house. Once the insurance part was all worked out the Floor Store was quick to get the job done. Because it was Christmas time we needed to wait until just after the holiday. January 2^nd they began the tile and by the 3^rd all tile and carpet was complete. And it is BEAUTIFUL. Everyone was very professional and courteous. Kept to the times agreed and had it job done ahead of schedule. To top if off their price could not be beat. If you ever need new flooring the Floor Store is the place to go!

My husband and I just had hardwood floors installed by The Floor Store after receiving a couple of other bids from other companies. I just bought a new home in Natomas area and want to get new carpet before move in. I went to several carpet companies in the greater of Sacramento, but their prices were high. I thought maybe, I just clean the old one and live in there. The next day, I was online searching for more carpet companies, and I’ve found Floor Store. I went and check out their website and called Mark. He ask me how soon I want to install the carpet. I told him that asap. Then, he told me that he got a roll of carpet ready to go. I need to go check and see if I like it or not. If I like it, then he and his team can come and install the same week. Well, I went to the Floor Store and check out his carpets, and the one that he told me was soft and good quality. The next day, he came to measure the house and gave a reasonable price. I thought about it, and called him to see how soon his company can install the new carpet. He told me that he will call me back, and within minutes he called me back and told me that they can install in two days. Within two days, his team came to my house and install the new carpet; they finish the same day. They did a GREAT JOB! I love the feel of the carpet and makes my house look more beautiful. I feel really happy to know and see that Mark @ Floor Store deliver excellent customer service.

When looking for tiles for a property, we had the good fortune to find the Floor Store (close to Costco which is how we found them).
Firstly, the store has a great selection of different items that should satisfy most peoples desires and budgets. They had stuff of better quality than other stores we visited.
The prices and installation costs were fair and the installation itself and customer service communication was exceptional. The installation was beautifully done! They have a great crew!
We dealt directly with Mark Monas, the owner, and he made SURE that the work would get done right and would do everything to make sure that we were happy with his company and his crew from start to finish.
You can see that Mark really exudes care about his company and makes sure it lives up to a very high standard. Mark and Larry really did an exceptional customer service job with us.
For any job in the future that I may have, I will definitely use Mark’s Floor Store again.
That’s as good a recommendation that I can give. Period!

I found these guys when I did an online search. I called in and made an appointment with Larry. Larry showed up on time and took all the measurements. He got back to me the next day and gave me some very reasonable quotes. I have set the dates for install and will update this rating based on how the install goes.
