Lumber Liquidators

The prices and selection seem fine, however when we purchased our wood, we were told we could return full boxes within 30 days, so we purchased extra. Not only were most of the boxes damaged (and the wood inside), but when we went to return it we were charged a 20% restocking fee! What a frustrating surprise. $ 145 wasted. We are avid remodelers and I’m a Real Estate agent, so I will recommend and personally choose a store with better customer service next time.

do not i repeat — do not — buy anything from the unscrupulous company known as lumber liquidators. no flooring, no baseboard, no transitions, no underlayment is cheap enough to ever get me to buy from them again! they are crooks, thieves, and above all liars.
(there is more to my complaint before this see below.) …so now they’ve wasted a month and a half of my time and will have collected over two months interest on my money by the end of my 3 to 5 week waiting period to be refunded by check when i paid in cash.
what a sick joke, what a corporate scam to make interest on possibly millions of dollars worth of product they have no intention on delivering– it’ll be after christmas before i get any flooring.
**my advice to anyone buying flooring… do not– i repeat– do not buy anything from lumber liquidators. under further investigation of their company, and after asking around, i found out that not only is this type of horrid customer service ordinary, but that they were just fined for not being compliant with the ca carb laws– that means they were selling flooring that was off-​gassing toxic levels of formaldehyde.
go to hd supply or home depot and buy something off the rack that they carry in stock and spend a little extra to save you from a big headache.

Very helpful staff. Great pricing on a true wood floor. My installer had no issues with the install and the floors look great. Received a cheerful refund for the unused box of flooring and even received a no charge u-​track for the transition piece to the tiled entry. We plan to do the kitchen in our second property and will be back to buy our flooring form the Lumber Liquidators Roseville store. Thank you guys! Scott C

Traveled 90 miles to be left alone for 15 min. in showroom. Finally give clerk my square footage needed for project and come to find out we are short a case. Back to the store I go, ignored again for 15 min. and left alone in showroom? So the kicker~ the same clerk will not give me the sale price from the week before, but acknowledged I was a little short on my needed square footage. I told him his mistake costs me dearly, a little short or a lot short. Zero customer service!

My floors are in and they are BEAUTIFUL! And, I am thrilled. My brother (a contractor) and my cousin (a cabinet maker) had no trouble installing 1,600 square foot (although it was HARD work, I have to say).
I am writing this review to share info about the great customer service I received at the Roseville store. I had a great experience… from my initial «window shopping» and getting quotes to making my purchase and picking up the materials, through returning the unused boxes for credit.
Ben and another sales associate were courteous, knowledgeable, and did not «hard sell» anything. They offered the pros and cons of my options and gave me time to go home and think about things and do price comparisons. I went into this project with somewhat of a snobby attitude about laminate, thinking only hardwood would do. It turns out laminate has come a long way in recent years. I bought the St. James golden acacia laminate. The pricing was very fair. The quality is good. And, I love the look, sound, and feel of my new floors. Goodbye carpet!!!

I have to applaud NEDCO floors. They did a fantastic job laying my new floors in one day. We had some issues with the product and they made it right before they began the job. In the world of construction, when someone can come in and finish a job in one day, they deserve 5 stars. Thank you Mickey and team!

Great people! Ben and Manny were awesome! Made purchasing and returning leftover material very easy. VERY friendly! Wood laminate was very easy to install. Will go back if I ever need anything.

GREAT PRICES!!! They beat everyone prices! Justin the salesman that we worked with was very helpful and informative. He had great tips for my husband, who did the installation. I would recommend LL to anyone remolding there house!

No «hello», «how are you» — nothing. 3 salespeople working, one other customer and me. I was ready to place my order for my downstairs but left after wandering around. I will spend my money elsewhere.

The showroom is smaller than expected, not as many flooring samples as the commercials make it sound. Ignored by staff. Be prepared to wait a week and a half for your flooring. We had to wait that long for a stair piece. It is a hassle to drive all that way back if you live far. They offer to ship it to your house for $ 20 which is outrageous. Also when the laminate was brought out there was damage from the shipping straps so inspect carefully! We miscounted and were short a box so we called back and asked them to hold one for us– but they did not, have to wait another week!
3÷3÷15 Update: Flooring even more damaged when opened from package. Cheap particle board that locks boards into each other breaks when installing. «Click» floors are not seamless when put together. Had to use a laminate floor tool kit to get a seamless look but ended up damaging floor further. Also the veneer face chips off the perimeter easily when installing your brand new floor! Called Lumber Liquidators, they do not stand behind the products they sell at all. Basically said they could do nothing for us and to take it up with the manufacturer overseas. Good luck with that! Avoid this place altogether, but if you do go, you get what you pay for with there discount $ 0.69 sq ft flooring! BEWARE

Sales people are efficient – installers-​not so much.
My son is still waiting for the installers to return and finish his floor… lots of phone calls with no action «so busy», etc. 2 weeks and counting…

Love this Lumber liquidators! Got a fantastic deal on my flooring! I have had totally different experiences with Nedco Floors compared to the other reviewer! Not only were they incredibly professional, but this is the second time they have installed flooring in my house. The workmanship was second to none. They finished in a timely manner, were very friendly, and totally cleaned up after themselves! Not only that, but a few pieces of t molding had come loose in the two years we have had our downstairs flooring, and they fixed it for me, at NO cost! I will use Nedco floors again in a heartbeat!

My wife and I came in to see what these guys were all about since their TV commercials and flyers seem to be everywhere… I browsed around and found an Acacia hardwood I wanted to get some information about because we were starting our project within a week. A sales associate said we will be helped soon. 15 minutes later, I notice how 2 sales associated were still helping one person! Hello? I’m looking to redo 2,000 sqft and am ready to buy now! My wife felt as though we were being ignored and our business was not welcome. See ya! Not coming back.
