Hampton Inn Sacrament/Rancho Cordova

Just got off the phone with Trevor at front desk. This young man was absolutely great — it was very busy, yet he took his time to help me and explain to me about the Hilton App where you can check in — similar to the airlines. I requested that I get a high floor with a room away from the freeway… he was very friendly and made notes on my account. I asked him about a place to eat and he was very helpful. I am very impressed with his customer service skills and look forward to staying at this Hampton Inn… I have had very good experiences with Hampton Inns, but this will be the first time at this location. I will update this after my stay!

Ok yes this was a hard hotel to find if you are coming from Folsom — my word you can get turned around or not sure when to turn right as you think after the u turn you are going to turn into the freeway but there is the street Gold Center Drive. If you are coming from Sacramento, you can drive straight onto Gold Center Drive.
You will see Fairfied and Hampton is right next door. It shares the same driveway too! For me, the Hampton Inn sign was so small, I drove by it.
Once you find it and settle in, its a great place to stay. All easy to park, check-​in, etc. The room was great in space with a nice clean well spaced bathroom (coffee maker, hair dryer & Neutrogena toiletries). Beds were nice, iron & ironing board. The complimentary breakfast was a nice set-​up as you had some buffet items of scrambled eggs, sausages & potatoes or it was eggs with biscuits and gravy. The usual muffins & bagels. A waffle maker, fresh fruit, yogurt and hot oatmeal. Coffee, tea and water stations left there as well as bananas & apples.
Stations for computers and printer. A nice indoor swimming pool. Just walk around the back to the casino as it has The Lodge which has a place you grab an easy bite to eat if you don’t want to jump back in your car.
A very nice place to stay that’s close to Sacramento, Carmichael & Folsom.

First off, this hotel is hard to find. I must have ridden past this place 3 times before finally noticing where it was located. UGHH! It is nestled right in between two Marriott’s, and one of them shares the inlet to the parking lot with the Hampton. Let me not forget to mention, the Hampton wall that faces the street does not have a sign, and the only sign for the hotel is very small on the side of the road next to vegetation. The lobby entrance is not seen by the street to know it is its own separate hotel. Trust me when I say this place is a maze to find!
LOCATION:
Right off the expressway easy access to Highway 50 but the room was very quiet. It’s walking distance to tons of great food places.
EXPERIENCE:
This was my first time trying out a Hampton Inn and I was happy I did! I only needed a room for Halloween weekend and it was walking distance from my event that I was attending, which was a big plus. I was able to get the room for a GREAT weekend price especially considering it was Halloween weekend. There is tons of parking since it also shares a location with another hotel so parking is nothing to worry about and is free.
ROOMS:
Clean hotel I got a room that faced the pool area so I didn’t have to worry about the freeway noise but from what other Unilocalers state there is not much noise from the freeway, which is a good thing. The room I was in was surprisingly quiet. The drapery kept my room dark so I was able to sleep in longer than expected. I also enjoyed sleeping on the feather pillows that came on the bed. OMG! I slept like a baby (it was like laying on clouds).
BREAKFAST:
Not as good as I expected. They serve biscuits, cereal, eggs and bacon… BLAH…I have had better.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
From the time I called and made a reservation to the time I arrived EVERYONE was SO nice. I first got on the phone and talked to Travis. I was able to make my reservation and change it a couple times without having to feel as if I was «annoying» anyone. Every time I called, Travis always gave me the upmost respect. When I arrived and was ready to check in I was greeted by Ciara (Manager) she was absolutely amazing and greeted with like I was a long time stayer at the hotel.
Overall, this hotel is an excellent value. I would definitely stay here again with no hesitations. The accommodations and service are very good and staff makes your stay the BEST you have ever had!
Hopefully they make the hotel more visible so more people can come in and enjoy a great Hampton Inn stay like I did!

Customer service is really good. I was greeted with a smile and a very helpful front desk clerk. They called to check on my room and make sure I was comfortable.
The three-​star rating is strictly due to the hotel being run down. There are not fridges in each room, the bathroom doors have spring hinges on them causing the bathroom to stay hot after a shower. I had to prop it open with my bag. I had to have a fridge delivered to my room and while it worked, on of the front feet was missing off it making it unstable.
I suggest some upgrades. I wont stay there again if I have other options.

I’ve always been happy with Hampton Inns. They are always clean, modern furnished, and the star is always friendly and professional. This one is no exception.
Greeted at check in with a cold bottle of water, and a smile.
Room was spacious, extremely clean, and everything worked. Possibly the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in!
Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs (that actually LOOKED LIKE EGGS!) sausage, and potatoes with make your own waffles, cold cereal, yoghurt, and an amazing fruit salad. Also available was muffins and pastry.
Overall, this place is awesome.

We stayed for 3 nights over 4^th of July weekend. We loved the service, clean rooms, amazing customer service staff, yummy delicious coffee available at all times, fresh fruit infused water, fresh baked cookies and fruit all day long. Breakfast was delicioua, beautiful décor. Great indoor pool. We will be staying there again for sure.

Good hotel, nice bed, quiet, good A/​C, big bathroom, quality big shower, free breakfast, free internet, would recommend! Friendly staff!

I really loved this spot and glad that I did my research before settling on something else in the area. Front desk and housekeeping were super friendly. Everything was very clean (even handwritten notes to say the bed sheets were clean!) in our room. I loved my stay here. thanks so much. oh and they also left notes, like have a wonderful day…:)! how sweet!

Is this the most luxurious hotel of all time? No. But it was clean, the staff was helpful, and the room was comfortable. For the price, it was an excellent stay!

Okay, so the next day, I get up the free breakfast.
Not knowing much, I give my 1yr old some of the scrambled eggs.
About an hour later, he has hives (allergic reaction).
Trevor (manager) prints out directions and tells me that Mercy San Juan is the closest.
While my son is in the ER for observation, I came back to the hotel to check out.
I asked about the ingredients and he started to ask the cook. Also the Assistant manager (Rita) found the ingredients and printed them out. They said they were sorry and Trevor said that their is an alternative menu for people who have sensitivities to certain foods.
I thanked them and I said I had to come back to make sure I checked out on time and they offered to extend it til 4pm due to the fact my son was still being observed.

This is my second stay here. The first time I was here on business near thanksgiving of last year. My experience was so positive the first time. When we were planning a family outing down here in the Sacramento area we chose this place. We were not disappointed. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, pool is heated and breakfast is always hot and free. I absolutely recommend this place to everyone.

I have stayed here twice. My first experience was frustrating. Their fire alarm was going off during the day several times due to the construction that was going on. I wish I knew they were going to be doing some work so I could have booked at another hotel. I had to leave my room to avoid the nose and take a nap in my car. I was hesitant to stay here again but I spent two nights here for the Thanksgiving holiday and experience was a lot better and quieter. I do wish they had more food venders that delivers to the hotel, I was told only pizza places and one Chinese food restaurant delivers to the hotel, I wish they had more options. Otherwise its been a coin toss staying here but I would consider booking again at this hotel and hope for another good experience since the hotel is near the freeway and the rates for a room are pretty good.

I’m not saying it’s a 5 star hotel, but it’s a good Hampton Inn. Contrary to some negative reviews, the staff here has been very friendly and the hotel is clean. Quick check in process and I was treated with a bottle of water and a granola bar. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy, and there is coffee in the lobby. Perfect for a business trip.
The area isn’t great, but since I’m here on business, i’m more concerned with convenient location. Folsom CA is about 15 minutes away and there are plenty of great places to eat and some outlets for shopping. The Hyatt House across the street may be a bit more luxurious but the rooms were about 20% more when I went to book. This Hampton Inn could earn a 4 star review of the bathrooms were a bit less sparse and had more of the usual «amenities»

Very nice place to stay at the last minute on a Saturday night. Price of $ 76 (taxes included) was very affordable for the quality of the room. Room and bathroom were very clean and smelled fresh each time we walked into the room. They even had the AC going for us on arrival! We would recommend this hotel.

Everything you’d expect from a Hampton. Friendly check in. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Always reliable.

. Great place to stay, the staff was really pleasant and helpful. Complimentary hot breakfast is always nice! Great location, near other hotels. A little outdated but nevertheless a great place to stay overnight.

After staying three nights when originally only planning to stay two, I think it’s safe to say that the staff at this particular location is amazing. The front desk agents are very friendly, they greet everyone who walks through their doors. The housekeepers also greet you if you walk through the hallways. Our maid in particular was so sweet, she came a little early (for us at least) realizing we were still asleep she apologized a couple times and promised to return later.
Sticking to her promise, she came back and restocked COMPLETELY. Day two, we left before she made it to our room… She again restocked completely again, gave us a great amount of mints and left us a note hoping we had a great day. My boyfriend and I have been staying at hotels almost every weekend since June and we’ve never had a sincere note and mints left for us like that before. The kind gesture really stuck with me and they earned 5 stars in my book!
PS their breakfast is as great as the reviews say. Large selections.

Stayed there last week for one night after a day of rafting on the American River. It was probably one of the best budget hotels I stayed at. Check-​in was quick, got a room on the first floor, and the continental breakfast was very nice.
Waffles, cereal, oatmeal, a good selected amount of pastries, bagels, etc. They even had biscuits for the gravy. Food items that were supposed to be kept warm were kept warm!
If I ever head up that way again I would definitely stay there again. Staff was friendly too.

The desk clerk, Trevor, was very nice. Check in was quick and efficient. Our room was clean and nice and cool. Guess we lucked out because NO THRONGS OF SOCCER/​BASEBALL/​SOFTBALL FAMILIES… woot!

I’m a loyal Hilton properties fan. I have stayed at everything Hilton for years and all over the country.
Until now and as you can read in my past reviews, I have NEVER had anything but good things to say about Paris and her families properties, but this Hampton Inn sucks!
At the check-​in counter, I noticed what had to be about 25 kids and either parents or just adults hanging in the pool area. Not uncommon, but this is an indoor pool so the noise for the folks staying on the ground must have been crazy loud, not to mention the adults were all drinking beer and hanging both inside and outside of the pool area. Yeah, it was a true redneck pool party.
Once checked in, I made my way to my room. Room 326 to be exact. Opening the door, I thought I was at the Silver Legacy in Reno. The room was small; the doors and walls dirty and mold in the shower area, above the ceiling.
This place was so bad, I actually checked the bed for bed-​bugs and looked for roach motels behind the furniture.
If you want a cheap place to sleep, here’s your sign. If your looking for a place to sleep with a bit more anything, stay elsewhere.
