Opps, I ment to provide ZERO STARS. THE man with the RED DOT on his for head requested $ 100 Deposit, so I asked for a receipt so I would not have ANY TROUBLE getting it back at the end of my 1 night stay, but the DUMB SECRETARY claimed that she didn’t have any record of receiving my cash (THAT IS WHY I REQUESTED A RECEIPT FROM THE MANAGER.) Since she claimed she had no record of my cash deposit even though I had a paper receipt with managers hand writing on it, she made me wait 1 hour for the manager with the Red Dot painted on his forehead to return to «check the camera’s» of my cash deposit which was unnecessary because he had given me a receipt. Who care’s what happened to the money I gave them, they accepted my cash receipt, that’s their problem not mine. After about 1 and ½ hours of waiting the manager finally gave me my cash deposit. FUCK RED ROOF INN, I HATE YOU, YOUR HOTEL SUCKS, FUCK YOU! This hotel must be a paradise if you are a Prostitute, Bum, or Drug Dealer, since the comfort level should fit appropriately.
THE BED SMELT LIKE A WET DOG IN THE SUMMER WAS SLEEPING ON IT, the sheet’s had cigarette holes in it, and it over all had a low level of cleanliness. Not worth the money since the Lice in the bed kept me up all night. I want my money back from HOTEL TONIGHT!
FUCK THIS PLACE, I’d rather sleep in my car.

The place was clean minus the huge cockroach we seen. We were staying there because we had a tree fall on our house and had to be away during repairs. Paid 614 to this place. With 3 days left while I was at work they stated my dogs were barking and left unattended per there policy. When we checked in because of our circumstances we were told we were able to leave the dogs alone. They are small dogs. They called me and blocked our keys to the room. When I returned I had to go to the office to get a new key at which time they refused a refund of the days left and literally have me 20 minutes to pack and get everything out of the room or they would have security escort me off the property. Great customer relations here. Called to let them know we left 2 fishing poles in the room that both cost over $ 200 each and they supposedly don’t have them. So the cleaning staff or someone took them. This is the worst place and always noisy. Never had our room clean for the 8 days were there. Never even knocked on the door to see if we needed toilet paper.

The worst experience ever. If I could rate the customer service from Peter Joshi a negative star I would. I kept asking to speak to the manager however he said he couldn’t contact him. I proceeded to ask for his name so I can leave this review. Apparently there is a new policy that in addition to the purchase of your room, they will charge you an additional $ 100 to your card or you can pay in cash and they will refund you within 2 weeks. If you don’t get refunded you must call their number. Peter didn’t want to listen to my concern. He kept pointing at the sign of the new policy without any understanding. I wanted a refund for the room. I was not going to pay more. And he kept saying that he was not going to help me. This was not disclosed to me prior to purchasing the room. I did purchase via

was extremely helpful to refund me and to apologize. By the way, Peter needs to be more professional, wear shoes when you are trying to check in customers.

If I could rate this place with a –star I would. I have to say that the staff customer service was great however they take cash to check in and was full of college students … Just check the pictures and please do NOT go there they have more options to choose from. Broken toilet and ants all over the bathroom … Nasty shower rug … Nasty sheets …

Really is not a bad place to stay. When we arrived the lady working the front desk was kind, helpful, and fast. There was one police officer on the premises when we arrived and by time we finished checkin there were about six. They congregated for a few minutes then left so I’m not sure what that was all about. There never were any problems that we saw of and there is a Starbucks directly behind the property so that could have been the deal.
We got a superior king room (I believe that’s what it’s called). The room is quite nice. A few small things that really do not effect the functionality were found such as when you turn the bathroom light on the fan kicks on as well and it is kind of loud but really not too bad. The bed was soft and we just kinda passed out the first night because of the comfort. It has a nice large flat screen tv with a sitting area and a desk
There is no charge for pets however they ask you not to leave them unattended in the room. This is one of the main reasons for a lower rating. When on vacation we would have liked to have gone to a nice dinner or a few museums but since you can’t leave the pets the option was out. That is probably the only reason we won’t stay here again. FYI: if you leave your pet unattended they will kick you out with no refund. Maybe a change is this policy could bring in more business.
As far as breakfast goes there isn’t one so don’t expect it however they are close to quite a few restaurants and shops so it’s really not a big deal. It’s extremely close to 50 and 5 which are also major pluses.
As far as it goes you get what you pay for and this is by no means a five star place but it has clean rooms friendly staff and close proximity to everything. I guess try it for yourself.

Friendly staff, affordable rooms, no frills. If you are looking for a place to crash for the night on your way to Tahoe, this is a good option. It isn’t nice by any means, but the rooms are clean and you can’t beat the price. The room was not well maintained, the lamp was broken and there was chipped paint on most the walls. The shower had lots of small chips and places where water had gotten between the wall and the shower. There was a bunch of garage out by the trash bins when I got here, old Tv’s and mattresses, which wasn’t the nicest to look at, and the rooms have the bare basics, but again, you are paying 50 a night for a reason. I would come here again if I was traveling alone. If my wife were with me I would pay the extra 20 bucks and stay somewhere a bit nicer.

Stayed here while in town for a music festival in Sacramento. Good, cheap, bare bones hotel. I did not experience any trouble with bugs or cleanliness. Hotel was clean. It has the bare minimum you would expect, I would not recommend staying here if you were planning on spending large amounts of waking hours in the room. There was not a refrigerator in the room I was in and room a/​c was not previously on (I had called for late check in though).
The tv is new and has lots of channels and wi-​fi is available, close to plenty of restaurants and shopping. I would recommend reserving early, as I got a good deal on expedia but overheard the clerk attempting to price a one night stay at four times what I paid to someone walking in for a room.

I stayed at RR Inn on a last-​minute search for a room. Despite having to be moved to a different room two times due to the non-​smoking rooms smelling like a full-​flavor pack of cigarettes, I did enjoy my stay here. The final room I was moved into was a 2 queen bed that smelt freshly cleaned and breathable. I like that I was given a bigger room for more space (I didn’t really need it but bigger is better!). The room was set to a cool temperature, felt very nice. The bathroom and shower was cute and clean. I regret not taking a picture of it. The bed was just as comfortable as my bed at home. I would have liked a thicker blanket but that’s forgiveable. Although the area is very sketchy, and as a young woman I must be careful, I would otherwise stay here again no problem.

It was worth the price. rooms were neat and clean. service ok. took awhile to check in but after u finally get checked in everything was ok. well hell at least they have a damn good coffee machine in the office to enjoy while waiting for ur super long check in

This hotel has gotten progressively worse!!! Quick list of what you are SURE to find here: Filthy walls, dried up blood stains, hair in the sink and showers, crumbs, and ROACHES. This is the 2^nd time, I’ve seen them. The staff is really nice and makes you want to give the place a try but No, No More! Will Never Be Back.

This hotel was horrible. Room was not clean, mattress was probably 20yrs old and smelled like it too. The others guests seemed a little shady and hanging out in the parking lot all night. Paid for two nights and one good thing is they refunded us for the second night

Run the prior reviews are not false. Major bed bugs and roaches, one hour into the stay bed bugs appeared and baby roaches. Do not stay here and they will not refund.

YOU’RE BETTER OFF ON THE STREETS! This place is a SCAM… keep looking for other hotels people… TRUST ME. If you book reservations with these people, once you go to check in… they will say they cannot find you on the system, then charge your card. And then when you finally call RED ROOF INN OR EXPEDIA for reimbursement on your card, the number on the site will lead you straight back to RED ROOF INN even if it says Expedia. Hope this place burns in hell

Dirty room & front desk had terrible customer service. The water backed up in the tub when we took a shower so we were standing in water while trying to get clean. We were quoted one price but then when it came to actually booking the room, it was more expensive. There are other hotels in the area so you may want to look there. One positive was the AC unit worked; ours broke at home so that’s the whole reason why we decided to get the room for a night.

Stayed here just for one night, and I have to say I would have felt better sleeping in my car. The comforters had stains, I pulled back the comforter to find a cigarette burn on the blanket. But this was the least of my worries. The door was broken so I used the dirty comforter to block the draft from outside. There was a smell that no amount of febreeze could cover, but it wasn’t in a safe enough area to leave the door open even with us inside. The fridge didn’t seem to be working. The walls were all filthy, there were random holes all over the room and I really thought I would have had a better time camping, which I’ve been refusing to do my entire life. I’m pretty sure they had bed bugs, and this is the first hotel that’s rivaled the terrible experience I had at a hotel in the backwoods of Alabama. When I called the front desk, the man who answered sounded like he was asleep and then mumbled. I had to ask for clarification on what he said.
The moral of this story is, don’t stay at this nasty Red Roof Inn. A night in the car would serve you better than a night here. The beds weren’t even comfortable. The only thing that I liked, I didn’t have to miss my shows but they would all have been available online the next day.

For being a very cheap room I needed sumwer cheap and clean while not ghetto because of my wife and daughter I want them safe good area and Good clean rooms everything I need for my family and saving not paying 100+ a night at a Hyatt or holiday inn I think this place was a lot better than most High end hotels we’ve stayed at and a fraction of price booked on

AWESOME last minute room for SUPER cheap at around $ 50 a night on a weekend. Cute, trendy room w/​a pretty awesome makeup counter ;) pretty noisy neighbors but it was a Friday night, no big deal. Parking was GREAT, right outside our room. Overall good, safe, clean hotel

Hotel manager, Malhal Joshi, barked at me while I was sitting quietly at my laptop in the lobby. The back-​story: One of the sweet front desk staff had suggested, when I asked about a place in which to plug my laptop, that I work in the lobby by the Pepsi machine. So I pulled a chair over and worked quietly in that area for over an hour. Mr. Joshi came in and, without a word of introduction, shouted, «What room are you in?» and «What’s your name?» then «You can’t sit there!» I moved the chair back and told him that, as a hotel guest, I was not okay being yelled at. I was simply working quietly where his staff had suggested. He argued that I was blocking the water cooler. I’m appalled that he picked a fight with a hotel guest about this, and no guests used that water cooler or even walked into the lobby while I was there.
I suggested I should be reimbursed for being treated that way. Mr. Joshi emphasized that he was the manager, so it didn’t matter what his staff told me. He said that I should check-​out, and he’d reimburse me then and there. [I realize he wanted to replace me with someone else, since the rates had increased by $ 5.] I called him a name other than Malhal and left the office.
Please, in this harsh economy, with so many nice, respectful people scraping for jobs, do not give this place your business until there’s a new manager. Malhal Joshi has anger management issues and/​or issues with women and/​or other issues that he lacks control over.
Also, the curtains on the windows are hideous looking — circus colors that blatantly clash with the bedding. There’s no continental breakfast. When you factor in the cost for breakfast, it’s not such a good deal. You can do better. The neighborhood is loud and sketchy — unless you want to be within yards of the Hooter’s clientele. And if you go to the nearby Starbucks, you might see a man sitting at a table rolling joints.

Non smoking rooms. Decent sized vanity with space for one. Amenities such as wood hangers. Suitcase, baggage racks, extra pillows and towels. Pool. 24hr coffee and plentiful parking. Starbucks 20ft away. A walk to Panda Express, Burger King, Taco Bell, gas, donuts, Chipotle, Hooters for sports games. Dish network satellite tv, a walk to target, marshalls, ross, a short drive to payless. Keep valuables out of sight, lock your car. You are in Rancho Cordova. It is what it is. Family friendly, gated on the busier side. Perfect 2 to 3 day staycation.
