*ZERO STARS FOR SAC CYCLE* Worst experience I have ever had purchasing something this expensive. I bought a SSR Lazer 5 moped form this place back in April of 2015 and within a couple of days (literally two days after purchasing it and riding it for about 1 to 2 hours each day) it was leaking oil from somewhere. I contacted Sac Cycle and let them know it was leaking oil, they said bring it in and they will take a look at it. I took it in eventually and they stated it was leaking oil because I had over filled it, and that they had emptied out the extra and tested it and it was not leaking now. It was leaking before I added a small amount of oil to replace what had leaked. The shops owner «Jim» aka «James», stated that I had overfilled the moped with nearly 2 quarts of oil, I highly doubt that this moped engine could possibly even hold that much oil. Days after getting the moped back from the shop it began to leak oil again. This was just the start of my horrible experience with this company, I eventually asked for a refund and was told by the owner that I would have to take him to court. The moped is now sitting in my garage and will start up but has no power and is basically Non-​operational, after only 2 months of riding it. The owner «Jim» aka «James» is completely unprofessional and on multiple occasions lied to cover his a**. Do not buy anything from this place.

years later and still no trunks for my scooters.
After every attempt and phone call being as nice as I could, never getting mad even once. SAC cycle/​Jim has never produced the scooter trunks that were suppose to be with my 2 scooters that were bought a few years back. He kept saying over and over it will be in the next shipment. Lie after lie. Remember the trunks match the paint job of the scooter. You can’t just go buy any trunk. It has to be made for that particular scooter. Lines up with the railing on the back of the scooter. I think the trunks came with the scooters back then, and were sold separately for extra money. I did stop in many times to check in person and the new scooters on the show room floor had trunks attached. I asked if I could get the trunks off those scooters, since it matched mine exactly. And they could replace it when their shipment came in. They refused every time. Wanted to make sure and update my original Unilocal posting. No resolution years later.

These guys swore up and down that an f4 stator would work with an f4i. They swore it was the same parts number. It’s not. I trusted them and oh, guess what, it doesn’t work. I drove an hour and a half to sacramento from walnut creek and now im going to miss a track day because of these guys. Thanks a lot.
Edit: so it turns out that the stator they sold me wasnt even an F4 stator. I can’t even resell it because i don’t know what it is. These guys are criminals, selling things they have no clue what they are and told me whatever they thought would make me buy it. Absolute garbage of human beings.

This place is bullshit serious fucking joke!!!
Do not buy anything from this place

So I got a call from Kenny in the morning and called him back and got Jim. Jim acted like I was bothering Kenny and I said «I am returning his call.»
My bike was done and I went to pick it up. Kenny had left for the day and I got stuck with Mr. Personality, the owner Jim. He never offered to assist me with my bike until I asked about showing me the new battery charger. When we walked out, the bike was filthy! It was dusty, and had fingerprints and smudges all over the chrome! When you work on a bike don’t you wipe it down? Don’t you take care of your clients bike when you work on it? He didn’t even know where the battery charger was installed and had to look! I was so frustrated with the dust and prints and that he had no idea of what was done to my bike and he was the owner, that when he asked if I had a cat, I was confused. I asked why and he pointed to my seat back… I was shocked!!! It was all scratched up by a cat! Long story short, he denied it happened at his shop and then based on a conversation with Kenny — it appeared he then pressured Kenny to lie and say that it had «pin holes» when it came in to cover the liability. When push came to shove, Kenny did the right thing and knew it happened at the shop and offered to have it redone only after I had to send my husband down to speak with him because I told him to tell my husband to his face that he saw the damage when it arrived, I knew he could not. I am not sure who paid for the repair and don’t care since this is my baby and it never should have occurred while at his shop. The shop negligence and the owners inability to accept responsibility for a clients bike in his care, is unprofessional and unacceptable for any business. This shop is a terrible representation of other honorable businesses in Rancho Cordova, and other business owners should unite and force him out, since he apparently has no integrity to do business with clients. This shop does not deserve any stars, and as I said I would make it a negative star situation, but it will not allow you to post unless you at least choose one.
Please don’t patronize this very dishonest shop and feel free to contact me with any questions you may have if you are considering it.

The owner of this shop, Jim, has to be one of the biggest jerks I have ever met. Who knows why he got into the service business. I had to get my scooter fixed, since I bought my scooter here, I took it here to get serviced. Jim was very condescending, any questions that I had he wouldn’t, or couldn’t answer. He just had a bad attitude altogether. And he’s been like that every time I’ve been in there. He might be nice if you are going to buy a bike from him, but I wouldn’t count on it. Go anywhere else, but not here!

I bought a Verano scooter from this shop approximately a year ago. Right off the bat I had problems. Since it was still under warranty I took it in and after a week the squealing on acceleration was fixed. The owner told us that they had to replace the whole motor because they couldnt pin point the problem. Fine by me. It worked great. Took it home and found that one of the passenger foot pegs was not put back on. Took it back and had that fixed. Took it again for a covered oil change and this time the kick start pedal was not put back on. It was winter at this point and I wasnt riding it. Took it back in today because it wouldnt start after sitting in the garage thru the winter. We charged the battery over the weekend and it still didnt help. After explaining to the owner that we were the ones who had the engine rebuilt because of the squealing problem he proceeded to tell me that they have never rebuilt an engine on one of their scooters. He blamed the misinformation on a service tech who was no longer there, but he was the one who told us of the rebuild.
I feel like I am dealing with a dishonest shop and when my warranty is up in July, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
